  1. Thank you for finally saying something. Still incredibly disappointed. MM/NiM R4 was something that was advertised pre-7.0 (would be arriving a month after SM/HM R4 release in early 2022). It's just frustrating it took this long to tell the community that it isn't coming and that no progress has been made during this time. On another note, seems disingenuous to me to write off all the 'where is nim r4?' comments as toxic spam. When you promise content and then go silent for a year, people start to ask questions and wonder what is going on. Had this been any other piece of content that was promised -- whether it was a flashpoint, stronghold, etc. -- there would have been questions. I think it just shows how passionate this playerbase, that wants this content, is about SWTOR. SWTOR has been important to me since launch. Unfortunately, 7.0 really started a downward spiral in the quality of the game's content, gameplay, and -- most importantly -- the way it all has been managed. Ranked PvP is now gone and, as it looks now, no more continued support for serious endgame PvE content. I understand the focus of the development team given the shrinking, more casual player basis; but, I'm still sad to see how things are turning out. Peace.
  2. Do you think you'll PvP more or less than you did before the update? About the same, maybe less. I used to stick to solo and team ranked, but team ranked has been nonexistent for idk how long, so I will probably stick to 4v4s when I PvP. Do the rewards on the reward track make you want to PvP specifically to earn them? Probably not -- I don't really care for the reward track design. Do you think you'll queue for 8v8 Warzones or 4v4 Arenas equally? Just 4v4s Do you feel the new Warzone medals will encourage objective play? No Is it clear how to earn PvP points and progress the Season reward track? I think so What is your overall impression of the changes to the PvP season system? I suppose this had to happen at some point. Not terribly excited about it though. What do you like the most about the changes to the PvP season system? Maybe faster queue times for 4v4s? That remains to be seen though. What do you like the least about the changes to the PvP season system? Doesn't feel like PvP will be as competitive. Following the leaderboards and grinding for gold/top 3 was always my favorite part. What is one change or adjustment you would like to make on the new PvP Season system, what would it be, and why? If all these changes go through, I think it is imperative for 4v4s to remain solo queue only. Competitive team ranked hasn't happened in a long time and it would just need to go if this is the proposed design -- if groups want to queue against each other they can do challenges. I personally would still like to see an ELO attached to each queue, but it is w/e. Remove neural trigger and carbonize from DPS powertechs.
  3. So uhhh what happened to the 5th boss? Did you guys just get rid of it after having 6+ months to work on it?
  4. Our group is in need of a DPS currently working on nim dxun @ trandos. If interested, pm me on discord (speeze#6339) or message me in-game (Jeralia, Lumaul, or Maulum). Prior nim dxun experience isn't required. Current schedule is Sunday and Tuesday from 8:30 - 11:30 EST
  5. I haven’t posted on the forums in years, but I would be remiss if I didn’t give my thoughts here. I believe that what is being proposed for the switch from the current system to combat styles will be the worst decision in this game’s history. I’ve played off and on since launch, so I was there to see the transition between skill trees and class disciplines; and, even though I enjoyed skill trees, the class discipline system helped make advanced classes more accessible for all players, while keeping each class unique and allowing for choice through the utilities system (all good things). I’m assuming the problem that combat styles is trying to address is the greater number of abilities each class has now as compared to launch. While this may be a somewhat legitimate issue, it seems as though in the process each advanced class will be absolutely gutted with the removal of abilities or by requiring players to choose from key abilities that make each class unique. I’m okay with removing lesser used abilities or combining some as others have creatively suggested for the sake of simplicity, but what is being proposed is not a good solution. For me personally, I was excited for the new operation and getting friends back together before the expansion to run through old content, but that excitement has kind of just left especially since I main a jugg tank. Will I sub to see these changes if they go through this holiday? Maybe. Will it be the last time if I do? Unfortunately, yes. Having a trooper dual wield pistols or a bounty hunter with a sniper isn’t worth it if what makes these classes unique and complex goes down the drain. Please rethink this.
