  1. Yeah, this is a big problem for small guilds and definitely needs attention.
  2. Something I would need to know as I think about this topic: What is happening to Command Ranks? Will that system (or a version of it) still be in place at the new level cap?
  3. Yes, this is a terrible change. It is almost like people with a career & kids shouldn't be allowed to participate in Conquests. Look, we want to have fun with this game and we don't have time for endless grinds. Also, it seems the new repeatable goals Complete Any Chapter and Complete Any Round of the Eternal Championship are not actually showing up in the list of Conquest goals.
  4. The decrease initial cost was sorta cool, but small-medium guilds really need relief in terms of the costs to unlock the additional decks/rooms on flagships. The framework system is a nightmare for most guilds.
  5. Yeah, I am a small guild leader. We've been around since beta, but our active membership has fallen. Most of us are RL friends, though, and not inclined to give up our guild. The unlock costs are prohibitive. We are all adults, career people & small business owners, mostly married, mostly parents. It is annoying that we are locked out of fully opening the guild ship. However, we also know that MMOs have always catered to the players who put in 60+ hours a week and the large guilds who schedule their players like it is a fulltime job. It would be nice if this, which has no effect on BIS gearing but lots of effect on ability to keep a character leveled Ops readiness, could be changed to let us dedicated but less frequent players access it.
  6. So, I did this fight a while back on a trooper. It was super boring and really annoying, but not particularly hard. Now on my Sentinel, his arc-shaped aoe seems to be affecting the entire room. No matter where I move outside of the aoe marker, it insta-kills me everytime anywhere in the room. Has anyone else had this? Is there a work-around?
  7. Really again? This is getting old. At this rate, with a moderate guild size, I'll never get these done. Everytime I get about 75% complete, they get reset. This warning post would have been nice a few weeks ago, when I might have been able to do something about it. I am pretty disappointed in this, and that it keeps happening.
  8. Oh, I guess I did, then. Been working DvL and struggling to find groups for the group content acheivements, so I haven't looked at Alliance Alerts in a few weeks.
  9. I know this has been suggested several times, can we get this, or a matching off-hand saber yet?
  10. Turned out my wife ended up encountering a similar bug. After logging into her account on the webpage, everything logged in fine again. This was also something I had done with my account while trying to fix it.
  11. My wife & I both had this yesterday. Log in to your account via the SWTOR webpage, then try the game again. That seems to be what fixed it for us.
  12. This error was apparently being caused by the streaming launcher. Deleting everything in my SWTOR folder, and copying that material from my wife's gaming computer (which does not use the streaming launcher) fixed it.
  13. Ok folks, I am able to log-in to the launcher ok and the website ok. Once the client launches it spends several minutes on the loading screen, and then it only offers me Quick Play Mode (though nothing downloads). Any ideas on this? I can't do an install repair, as the launcher detects everything as fine and fully patched up. This just began today.
