  1. That's what really bothered me. Pubs are already outnumbered by a huge margin and then you see some of their best players on the imp side helping spawn camp? I lasted 2 minutes in this event and don't plan on visiting any future world PVP events of this nature, having my toon stuck in a respawn cycle isn't my idea of a good time.
  2. I had this happen once about 4 or 5 months ago. We had just killed the enemy ball carrier and I received possession of the ball near the health pickup by our end zone and after about 3 seconds it suddenly it took the ball from me and gave our team a point.

  4. I think you should level some alts. Plus it'll make you a better PVPer since you'll see things from other perspectives, learn classes weaknesses, etc.
  5. Good thing every class has a slow then. I love spamming the roll 3 times just to end up 18 meters away with 40% energy. And what about a jugg/guardian? I don't have one so I don't know the specifics, but can't they leap > force push > leap > friendly leap, one after the other?
  6. So you'd prefer all gear works across all game types? Is there a BiS or when you get into the game does everyone get bolstered to the exact same stats? If there's BiS, what if the BiS item comes from hardcore raiding? Most PVP players enjoy PVP because of how different every match can play out, whereas PVE is scripted and every fight should end the same. They don't want to be forced to play PVE just to have the best gear for PVP. They want to PVP. If everyone gets bolstered to the same stats, where's the progression? PVP players are fickle and get bored easily, you need to keep a carrot dangling in front of them to keep their attention. If they went with either of those models the forums would be shut down due to all the crying.
  7. No, that's working as intended since it's been in the game as long as people can remember and it's what they are used to. Knights are supposed to run the ball and leap, sages are supposed to run the ball and pull, pts/vgs are supposed to pull enemies away from the goal line and into fire traps, assassins are supposed to knockback enemies into firetraps/the pit, and scoundrels are supposed to hate huttball because they are the person constantly getting leapt to, killed in fire traps, or knocked into the pit and have no gap closer to get back into position. That's the way it has always been and that's the way it should always be.
  8. Roll costs 25 energy, right? And I regen 6 energy per second when in the top energy bracket... Roll - 75 energy 1 second later 81 energy .5 seconds later roll again as my roll is off gcd - 56 energy 100-56= 44. 44/6 = 7 seconds until my energy is back to max. Do you play Op/Scoundrel? It seems like you don't, you just know everything about them from playing against them. Every day since I hit 51 and got the roll I've noticed myself getting slowed more and more on PVP. It's not bad when a merc or sniper puts the slow on me, I can cleanse that, but when it's a sorc using his 12 second (or whatever, it's long) slow, I can't cleanse that and I can use my dodge to remove it, which is on a 60 cd. If I happened to use my dodge against a high impact bolt/rail shot or masterstrike/ravage then I'm SOL. Or are you actually suggesting that people are using their CC break just to remove a slow so they can ROFLroll away? Oh, you did suggest that, and even said that it's what a smart scoundrel would do. I guess saving my CC break for a white bar situation is one of the many reasons I'm so bad at this game.
  9. If your EWH gear is just as good as partisan and conq then why would you ever upgrade your gear?
  10. I was anal about it after 2.0 came out and people needed to learn to play their classes. You aren't gaining any experience just standing at the node.
  11. Saw a dps scoundrel earlier today sap an enemy and then instantly open up with shoot first, white barring the enemy. He called me dumb when I asked him why he would possibly start a fight by filling the opponent's resolve. I <3 Pugs
  12. Here are my stats going from Fleet > Warzone > Remove Relics > Remove Basic Gear > Remove everything except weapons. http://imgur.com/a/q8Dqe Just removing relics is the best in my opinion because I still have my set bonus.
  13. It's lower than before because we are doing the damage of a level 55 with the health of a level 50. When you have 27-30k health instead of 21k, TTK will increase as healers will have more time to get off heals. Like someone said above, healing right now is a lot of fluff numbers. I can get big heals off on my teammates, but they get killed so fast my heals aren't doing much other than extending their life 1 or 2 GCDs. It's really effective when i'm the only healer so those couple extra GCDs are enough for my teammates to kill the enemy.
  14. I have had no issues with energy for healing on my scoundrel. Played plenty of games so far, I feel very strong unless two coordinated DPS get on me, or a couple snipers. So far I like it.
  15. So you're saying that giving people equal gear means that everyone is going to become mediocre and that nobody will be better than anyone else? There will be no more stomping or challenging moments for you to learn your class? I expect it will help people learn their classes better. When I'm fighting someone I know my gear isn't affecting the outcome as much, so it helps me focus on my rotation, knowing how many GCDs it should take to kill someone, when I can blow my energy to go for the kill... With a gear imbalance you're either barely denting the other guy or you're the strong one and just melt the opponent without breaking a sweat. A person in PVE gear is still going to want to upgrade to PVP gear to be good at PVP. If BW had put in new recruit gear with stats slightly worse than Partisan, nobody would care. They'd say "Good, at least I won't have to quit as many WZs because of people with 14k health." Bolster is still just the first stepping stone on the grind that is PVP gear.
