This is not universal. It took 2 minutes for my launcher to update and I played for an hour this morning. I have a midling internet connection, certainly nothing super-high speed.

I wonder what the issue is. My launcher updated this morning, took about 2 minutes and I've been playing the game for the last hour. I know that doesn't make your experience any less frustrating but whatever the issue is, it's not universal.

It kind of makes you wonder if they value their subscribers at all -- probably not the reaction they were looking for when they announced subscriber rewards.

I specifically chose a Twi'lek for my main because the hoods disappear. Back before adaptive gear most/all of the higher level guardian gear had hoods and I really don't like hoods. All characters look the same from the back with a hood up. The camera gives odd angles during cut-scenes when you can't see your face I take a long time to create a certain look for my characters during character creation and I'd rather see that than a generic hood. Now that there is adaptive gear I have lots of armours to choose from that have no hoods, but I like the fact that hoods disappear on Twi'leks -- it's why I chose one in the first place.

You are correct it is a Cartel market update (or if you prefer YOU ARE CORRECT IT IS A CARTEL MARKET UPDATE) 2.2 which is the next content update is due out June 11. (Still conforming to the 6-8 week window of content updates) As always if you don't want to buy Cartel Coins you can wait until things show up on the GTN or use your free monthly allowance.

It seems that you fall a lot closer to the suicide side, otherwise you wouldn't refer to those who support the system as it is as lobotomized. And your post displays in a nutshell exactly why most polls are useless. Most polls have agendas already built in to their questions just like your opening paragraph in this thread does. Polls are also skewed because they only poll those who spend a decent amount of time on the forums, which is a small subset of those who actually play the game. EA/BioWare doesn't need a forum poll to let them know how their system is being received. They have actual game data. They know exactly how many customers are using the system. They know exactly what their customers are purchasing. In the future the Customization Kiosk will be adjusted based on these purchases. Popular items will be expanded upon, less used features will be discounted or dropped. If lots of people buy Cathar then they will make more species, if they don't they might lower the price point or decide that new species aren't worth the effort. As a subscriber you have to decide if these features are worth your monthly Cartel Coin grant, or cash to buy more coins, or not. The only poll that matters is the one that is being conducted in game.

I've unlocked the Thana Vesh armour and the Troublemaker armour account wide -- they mix and match quite nicely. I just wish they would fix how the Thana Vesh armour displays on male body type 2. Contrary to the song I don't like big butts. I do like the the Collections feature though.

Patch 2.1 is a Cartel Market update full of optional customization features. Patch 2.2 is our regularly scheduled (6-8 week window) content update. If you don't like the things in the Cartel update, don't use them.

One. I switched over an Assassin to a dark skinned Cathar. Currently rocking Thana Vesh's armour with the primary colour dyed the craftable Grey. Looks awesome!

My artificer is 22nd level. (I have three low level crafting alts.) I really don't want to level him up just so I can open mission boxes. Please take this restriction off.

Here's a solution that might satisfy everybody: Currently certain items can be bought with other items -- you trade in a legacy kit for a legacy item. Couldn't you set up a vendor that has a fixed robe that could only be purchased by trading in the old robe? That way folks who wanted to keep the old robe could, and folks who wanted to trade it in for the unbugged model could do so as well. No-one gets double items and everybody gets what they want.

I would put my vote in for fixing the double hood. I stopped wearing mine because I couldn't take the clipping issues. Please replace my Revan Chestplate with a non-bugged version. Thanks!

Except it's just male body type 2 that has this behaviour. Body type 1 and 3 and female body types are fine. Why then does physics work and the characters look fine on the other body types but when it comes to body type 2 to make physics work it has to look bad?
