  1. Tech parts and schems. BTW, I am making more from my T9 augs than the level 22s. The level 50 market is way, WAY flooded. Lock box missions have NOTHING for augs. But, I run them for the other schems for my alts.
  2. Sadly, problems with Lotro's F2P model and how they handle subscribers is why I am letting my year long sub at LOTRO expire this month. Sadly, with this announcement, SWTOR seems to be headed down the same path, which I guess I will examine in September when my extensions to my initial sub end. BTW... BIOWARE, DID you forget that you asked your pre-release subscribers what model they wanted to use? THE MODEL we have now was what was overwhelmingly requested. SO much for your consideration for your customers... SIGH.
  3. Sigh 72 pages and counting. As if any dev is going to read all of it. .. Just throwing out there. F2P noobs probably need a place to post questions that may get answered by senior players. How about a segregated F2P section of the forums? AND, while I am dreaming... How about putting new F2P players on their own servers, with coming back players being able to use their own server or the F2P server? I would guess Bioware by then MIGHT have players choice server transfers that could be bought with bioware/ real life money so you could move your toon off that F2P server for a COST...
  4. First off, OP, nice list. Seems like some stuff is missing, but I am unable to play for the past week and at least a few more days. Umm.. Not exactly? On Shadowlands, T1 and T2 green gifts are guaranteed sales. I price them at just below the price of the vendor, which is usually a 200 credit profit over the mission. The reason why few people list them is because, near as I can tell, once they are above the skill level of the T1 and T2 missions that grant them, they dont send their companions. I dont remember pricing 1.) because if anyone wants to use the tip, I want them to at least do the work of running over to the vendor and 2.) I really dont need the competition. Having pretty much a monopoly is fun. For me, I send my companions on T1 gift missions constantly, just to cover the time it takes me to disembark from my ship to a planet. Usually, my companion is waiting planetside for me. On my level 400 guys, I send my companions to farm mats for my lower level tunes, while they skill up themselves. Gift missions are by FAR too predominant vs the stuff I really need, so I get mad at seeing soo many gift missions, making me less likely to send companions on missions for gifts. However, when I get a new companion on an alt, sending constantly on the T1 and T2 missions with my big tunes gets me stuff far better than I can get at vendor, like 3 gifts for 95 credits, or a purple git and a schem. ^^^^^^^ THIS. I know they "fixed" the GTN, but it is still wonky, and, I think, a known issue. While I would put companion gifts WAY behind being able to say, tell if I know already a schematic before I spend credits on it, it WOULD be nice if the "useful for" - "companion x" filter actually did something to show gift use for at least companions. As a side note, the scale is a lil more complex than the only level 1 and level 5 gift rules someone mentioned above. I accidentally gave a level 5 favorite purple gift to a companion was below 5K and got less faction than a level 3 like green gift. Personally, I use the divide the 10K scale up concept. (0-2000 = T1, 2001-4000 = T2, 4001-6000 = T3, 6001-8000 = T4 and 8001- 10K = T5). However 9 plus to companion is better than nothing if his affection is way above zero. Hope my ramblings help someone.
  5. Was a great concept promoted before beta. Never made it to real game.
  6. Agree with a lot of what OP says... and also this guy. Sadly, you are an amoeba to an elephant..Bioware cant even feel you slashing at it.
  7. Umm.. NO WAY.. sorry.. What is the point of your post? Getting your class spec is part of your class progression, which you have to do to get the ship you say you already have at level 11. Unless you are counting the ship that your arch nemisis stole from you at level 1 and does not give back until you are done with Coruscant. And, if the guy at fleet who is supposed to give you a quest to get class specialization wont talk to you, you did not finish your class quests on Ord Mantell. so head back there. Oh, and lots of the quests in game are locked behind you being the proper level, which you barely are to get the advanced class quests. If you level faster, you will end up sitting on your thumbs with nothing to do.
  8. Yeah, for my commando cybertech, the low level ear pieces he lists sell out as I am killing grey driods to get parts to make more of them. When I was leveling my 2 50s, ear pieces for under 49s were non-existant. You just need to get in a niche and let other people undercut each other for the level 50 market.
  9. Ehh.. Slicing is the way to get the schems for under 22 augs. It also gives the parts to make the augs for synth, armstech and armormechs. Sadly, people on Shadowlands only seem to think that people are level 50 needing the level 22 augs and kits. Happily, my level 30 slicing BH is making 10K per recipe for the level 2-10 schems he is bringing back from slicing missions. Actually, he is also making good credits by making blue gear for levels 9-25. since no one seems to be making Aim/Cunning gear.
  10. GIve someone else your account and password. plus your credit card info? Just ignore the extra charges on the bill and pay it off... (Sigh) Ok DONT do that. Why are you worried about leveling fast? This is a STORY based MMO, so they want you to smell the flowers as you go by. If you must tho, focus on your class line, ignoring all side quests until you cant get past fight X. Then, dont call on your friends and guildies to help. Do the side quests in the area where you are, and work backwards until you get the correct gear and can win that fight. Of course, you will be sick of doing your smuggler by that time because he failed you so many times on that TUFF boss fight that you really were not prepared for because you skipped so much content.
  11. The people in my guild say that on their EV runs, they get 9 drops of smuggler gear to the 1 drop of everybody else. That is across 10 runs for two months ending about a month ago. Maybe you and they are just unlucky. Thier companions have cunning based gear to drool for tho.
  12. That ability is ONLY available to TANK spec shadows who are T4 in their skill tree. DPS shadows cant use it.
  13. Just put it this way: RANGE = Sage Heals and DPS and popular with groups Up close and personal = Shadow DPS and tanking, biased against by groups Oh, and shadow dps spec damage output appears to be weak vs what my heal spec smuggler can put out,. Or at least, feels that way. Mox says DPS shadow is way behind the other members of my Ops group, including the tank and off tank. On the other hand, when I switch to tank spec, he is god mode, just hard to convince others to let him tank, with the standard MMO bias.. "he is in light armor, he cant tank".
