  1. 1. A long while ago when first playing my operative healer lvl 15-18 ish (I dont recall exactly) I was appropriatly getting owned. However, between my baby healing and probably lucky respawn time I was doing great at getting to VS doors in time, holding out to interupt caps and call out over and over again. Horrible stats at the end of the match, but I got every single MVP vote from my team (the only time Ive ever seen it happen to anyone). The entire time I was laughing hard between being melted so fast and stopping yet another cap after cap. 2. On a loosing pug Huttball a few months ago on my Mara I landed in an enemy premade. The team we played was awsome with their line up passes, pulls, and grabs. They had 4-0 in like 2-3 min and I said to myself, self this isnt fun. I shifted to jerk defence to make it fun for me and my team. Being familiar with Hutball pass, pull, grab lines I vanished and got in position. Next endzone goal line top pass I jumped in front of the reciever and watched an NFL style interception. I roared like Madden and my game was one. In op chat we changed the game from loosing Huttball to keep away from the Republic. I orchastrated my teams idea to run the ball in circles through our own pass chains without scoring- deliberatly, for most of the remaining time. I personally intercepted 3 times at goal NFL style. A loss, but my favorite loss ever.
  2. 1. Enhanced Faction v Faction PVP Enchance world pvp rewards, Let me try and raid the other factions fleet, maybe a world pvp planet/ zone where we compete for objectives capture/hold with benefits. Take it further and let a few AT-AT or gun turrents get player controled. 2. Further Character Customization All sorts of new armors let me show skin, so let me have tattoos on more then my face. This should be race / legacy unlock specific so my cyborg can have a luke arm, Rattaki has dark body tattoos, them foolish green dudes get diamonds up their sleeves. Barber Shop for changing hair styles. Add a few more hairstlyes. Let light affinity adjust your appearence for blue/ glowing eyes. Let me buy dyes for armor and weapons. 3. Promote Guilds Guild Fleet Ship base, Guild vendor with ulockables via guild achievement. Say guild is ranked up so now they can buy blue/purple cored stones, guild mounts, ect. 4. Identify Space Combat as a Mini-Game or re-Vamp it Either let me actually feel sucess or failure with reward and loss by going after my opposing faction... or call it like it is. 5. Expand Mounts Set me up a racetrack even if it isnt as cool as little Skywalkers, where I can compete for prizes. Maybe this is a new persudo pvp zone. Let me add mods to my mount like paintjobs and fuzzy dice. Give me a damn mount that is alive. Adding legs cant possibly be that difficult, and if for some reason im wrong then fine it can fly. With so many species I must be able to sit on one. Hell if you can give me a dune buggy that is on the ground and doesnt hover I'd be happy.
  3. Love the covered helmet. What is it, where do I get it?
  4. This reminds me of the first time I rolled my inquisitor through his story and near the start theres waves of robots you really cant stand up to with the common dps take down. You need to learn to stun, position followed with knockback to launch as many of the cliff as possible and follow up with your best controlled dps to take 2 or 3 a few times in a row. The connection of ithis is that EVERY class hits a point early in their story that will test you and make sure that if you run solo, you need to undesrtand your moves and rotations. This fight requires proficeincy not just competance. Untill you get a grasp on it the fight seems impoissible when most things before it were cake. Some classes will naturally be easier for you, while some will be difficult. Dont give up. The force IS with you
  5. -Hilarious, i dont know , but even if Im on the loosing of a good trick or kite i can laugh or smile. I hope you were able to do the same even though the smugglers joke was on you. It just sounds like his personal kite style. Some strafe in circles easy, some are jumpy, some will run though you.... they cant all be backpeddlers.
  6. hotkey your crippling slash to slow their run/kite. try putting it on F or R for instance, if your typically a mouse clicker this will help a ton. Dont open with the charge/jump, but rather use it to get back after they knockback you. Youll always face a kite as a melee dps because nobody can sit in one place and dish it back as effectivly if it were a 'fair' 1v1. Learn to use force camo as a gap closer. Additionally keep in mind if you pop your invisibility they drop you as a target, so it can be very effective to use to sort of drop pvp aggro/target for a sec and then re-engage even if your low on life and would consider running. In later levels you will also have 2 different lightsaber throws and force scream (so you can dps while catching up). In short, as it was best said before - at lvl 12 - dont have too high of expectations, you need to lvl up a bit and get some new skills, but pvp is still a good experience for you now to find when to best use some of those skills and when to try and hold off. Youll always get kited, but youll get more to overcome it /somewhat .
  7. Jung-Ma (US east RP-PVP) still very much alive and well. Ive never seen the server status below standard amidst a flock of low servers. I originally rolled here with a group of 8 from other games. I personally had no intention of RP but love PVP so I was ok when a few of the group picked the RP-PVP type. 5 of the 8 have since left for various reasons, and the 3 of us left are no longer guilded together; however, I have found that picking this server has served me very well. PVP q time is minimal pre and post 50. RP is available if your into that, but not heavy if your not interested. Flashpoint and HM groups pop off the general channel all the time too. Both Imp and Rep are active, and I recognize several guilds making there own world events. In my small guild alone we bump into others chasing down world boss's and having great world pvp. I see many upset subscribers posting on various sites about wanting more content or simply more ppl to play with since servers have died, but with Jung Ma, my personal gripes are minimal, (and I think the game itself will still evolve with more updates and xpacs). If you come to Jung Ma which I encourage the active player base will keep you enjoying the game. Feel free to personal msg me if your lookin for more info
  8. Unless you have the condition of altitis where you find yourself making and playing tons of alts and not your main, dont be afraid of keeping more then one alt. There is no reason to be afraid of having both a commando and a vanguard alt. In regards to the commando with a rifle part though: your base damage is going to be a little more with the canon. Nobody will really care till later in the game, so if your only hanging with this as an alt it should never be an issue for you. However, if your healing you might want to use the rifle as a sort of camoflage. I know when Id sight a canon in pvp with my old main, a marauder, that the commando became a priority target. Now playing a commando healer I see others recognizing the same thing (pvp). When I find a rifle that looks 1/2 way decent I certainly intend to mod it up accordingly and hide in plain site for the few extra heals. With a rifle I hope to look like an underpreforming vanguard that doesnt know to get in close .
  9. Option is available to "invest" in Jaxo even after marrying Dorne. I have watched video on youtube of said player cheating on wife with no repercussions.
  10. I have seen image databases of lightsaber colors, synthweaving, and armormech uniforms, but not any images of character customization skins. Does anybody have a site link for looking at a series of skins for different companions. For instance I run two toons; a trooper and a marauder. I love them both. Im interested in buying a VIP bracelet in fleet for the sole reason of changing some skins, but I dont know if Im even gona find it worth the new appearence of Jeasa or Dorne. I figure I probably should grab a security key because Ive had previous accounts for different games hacked too.
  11. Theorycrafting and trying new rotations is all fine and dandy, but Annihilation especially takes some getting use to. Popular opinion is a debate on Anni vs Carn everywhere you look. Some can even claim success with Rage, but that at least is remote. I think the biggest difference is that most Annihilation specs are going to be aimed at pvp and used pve as a sort of second. The two playstyles are very different so actually getting comfortable with the 'rotation' is the obvious key to effective numbers. Dont rule either out, but try both and see what you think is easier vs funner vs statistically better. I have run better Carn in the past as it covers my mistakes a little easier, but as Anni I have way more fun, even if I dont provide optimized effiecency occasionally lol. Sithwarrior.com offers some really good advice on these builds theory crafting and spec wise.
  12. This guys signature block 9/10 (page 1)
  13. 6/10 I like that Hub is possible as a smooth nickname for quick reference on Vent or even typing, sounds fair, but nothing special. On the downside it makes me think of Hummas, a food for vegans with no tastebuds, something a true sith would never eat.... My cyborg Marauder rocking two huge vibroblades is Viowulf Southstar. I have used the tag Vio (pronounced V eye oh) for a few years now on all my toons so my common players would recongnize me. Back a hundred years ago when I use to play magic the gathering I remember a favorite card which use to read "look to the North there you will find aid and comfort" on the bottom. I loved the idea of consequently leading the sith ideals with Southstar against the iconic Northstar.
  14. Thank you, ... this part is what Im saying... all the "advice" generally posted to reference I have found has its own diminishing returns in that it has been blanket advice to all warriors and not specific or offering direction to the intent of spec. For me as an Annihlation spec Im holding the skeleton build every Annihlation tree has in common and playing around with my other few points from time to time. My intent is to avoid rotating specs, and hold two sets of gear (pvp and pve) self healing crit chasing pvp with of course its respectable burst damage, and just plain high pve damage. So I understand accuracy up to 100-110, surge rating 75% or so (thank you again), that i need crit>str/power (what ratio or numbers marks am I lookin for here?). So expertise in pvp first, then folllow that example? PvE same numbers (but ignore expertise), because Im keeping the same build, or would stat preference change to str>crit>surge because I dont need the self healing anymore? -Viowulf Jung Ma server
