  1. Can you give us an audio mode that temporarily mutes everything except for the sound of a queue popping? It could be in the sound preferences window or even be a little option right in the Group Finder window. Sometimes I just want SWTOR running in the background while I wait for a queue to pop. But right now there's all kinds of irritating background noises that can't be disabled, even with the "Music Volume" and "Ambient Volume" settings turned all the way down.
  2. Almost 9 years later and this boss is still bugged and can't be completed. Good stuff.
  3. What does that mean? Is there a maximum combined character limit across all servers or something?
  4. Nope, Microsoft ended final support for Windows 7 just a couple months ago. They continued with security updates until January 10th, 2023 And technically they're still supporting Windows 7, because they're still doing updates for some of the embedded systems until October 8, 2024.
  5. Please make sure we don't have to click a button saying "Yes, I want to spend 100 credits" every time we fast travel anywhere. That would get really annoying really fast. That aside, I doubt these changes will really affect any of us here on the forums. We all have bazillions of credits and haven't had to worry about money for a long time. So that's fine. But these changes will be brutal for new players. If you haven't made a new account from scratch recently, give it a try. Make a new character with no help from your old rich characters, and you'll be surprised how long it takes to even build up enough money to unlock all your inventory slots. It's several hundred thousand credits to get to 80 slots, and that's not easy to get at the start. Money is brutal for a new player.
  6. No, from the sound of it most of you are going to quit the game. That will be far and away the best change for SWTOR in 7.2.
  7. Good changes overall. Separating 4v4 and 8v8 into different queues is the single best change we've had in a while. The fact that the "serious" PVP crowd is upset (all 10 of them) definitely points to things going in the right direction. My only potential concern is allowing premade to play against anyone who queues randomly. That seems like it might lead to one sided matches a lot of the time. But I guess it just depends if anyone actually makes premade PVP groups when it goes live. Hopefully the toxic PVP clique will just segregate themselves in 4v4, and the 8v8 will be better for everyone else.
  8. Hey Kev, are you still around? Are you planning on testing the new Galactic Seasons 3 companion PH4-LNX to see how she stacks up?
  9. Devs, I know getting a patch finalized and scheduled is a big undertaking, but can you guys give us a little more lead time in the future? It's inconvenient to have an announcement out of the blue just a few days before it goes live, especially for something big like a new Galactic Season.
  10. About half the time when I do veteran flashpoint queues through groupfinder I don't get credit for it in the weekly veteran flashpoint and groupfinder quests "[WEEKLY] Searching for Allies" and "[WEEKLY] Veteran Flashpoints". Level 80 character Rèinå on Star Forge server Accepted both quests "[WEEKLY] Searching for Allies" and "[WEEKLY] Veteran Flashpoints" Queued for random veteran flashpoint in groupfinder with all flashpoints checked Completed a random veteran flashpoint (Hammer Station) with 3 other random players Got the system message "You have completed the location matched through activity finder." Both quests are still at 0/3
  11. This is good, but we really need a way to actually find what content groups are doing, rather than just run to a world boss and see if there are people killing it at that particular moment. It would be very helpful if we could queue up for content like world bosses or the turrets/base defenders season objective we have this week. Having to rely on chat channels is clunky at best and really not suited for this kind of thing.
  12. Can anyone explain this? Where's this vendor and what does he sell? Is all old armor from operations going to be available for cosmetics or something? The only thing I had heard about armor was that they were getting rid of the vendors that sell the armor with class set bonuses.
  13. Why not just ban anyone who wants to play anything except Operations? It would be a lot more direct than all these changes and would accomplish pretty much the same thing.
  14. Uh, you shouldn't? Why do we need a system that allows you to exploit random pugs in order to get loot for yourself? If you want something for yourself, then solo the content and get it for yourself. If you can't solo it, then you don't deserve to have all the loot just for yourself.
