  1. Here's your thread from two weeks ago telling people that they shouldn't make comments on the forum pointing out things that they don't like and instead should just unsubscribe. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=258091 "For those of you who are close minded and impatient by all means please unsubscribe and jump back into the troll filled hell of world of warcraft. " I was only giving you some of the same advice. Also, thanks for the private message asking if I felt silly posting a comment on your thread, it's what made me come back to the thread.
  2. I've been hearing for months that a lot of stuff is "being looked at". Too little(well nothing really) too late.
  3. If the OP hates this game so much he should just leave instead of trying to destroy it with his words.
  4. Your advanced class thing made me laugh. You get to choose what class to play!! That is a feature not found in any other mmo! MIND BLOWN!
  5. Well I went to ask my guildies their opinion but half of them haven't logged on in the last 2 weeks.
  6. The problem with color crystals is that they have stats. People would play just to collect them.
  7. They actually said they are "hyper aware" of the server population issues. They need to merge 3-4 servers into one. I know they would rather make it look like having 200 servers seems like they are running a wildly popular mmo, but it's only making the declining population problems worse as there's less and less reason to log into these barren worlds. - Way too many servers - Out of control 'phasing' - Planets that are mirrored between factions but not shared. - Absurd travel times - Poorly built social tools Add these in with the declining population and it really makes the game feel like a single player game. I guess that's the entire reason you get NPC companions to play with.
  8. What's funny is that this thread is sandwich between 4 threads wondering where the population went and several others complaining about the game being bad. lol
  9. It's funny because our guild population has declined to the point that we're trying to merge 2-3 other guilds together just to be able to fill out an ops group. Either Bioware needs to cut the number of servers in half or make the game F2P so we get some fresh blood online.
  10. Except the pop culture references littered throughout the game....
  11. There's tons of life! I see groups of 3 mobs then groups of 4 mobs and then another group of 4 mobs all evenly spaced out and standing there like statues. Statues that move once you begin an action.
  12. 5 minutes? lol You obviously have no idea. You have either no understanding of the amount of planet hopping required at the end of act 1 for no reason at all or you are just hoping that bioware will make you a forum mvp superstar or something if you kiss their rear ends enough.
  13. I said the same thing when I finally got back to fleet and clicking on the guy I was rewarded with some xp. For a company that decided to throw out major gameplay mechanics in lieu of story, this is just shameful.
  14. To the people who don't like damage meters etc, please form your own guilds that don't require them. Then all you like-minded people can group together and enjoy a damage meter free life. I know you will NEVER do this because you know you would just have a guild filled with bads trying to get carried by each other. You will never ever do this so instead you attack what you perceive is the problem, the tool pointing out just how bad you are. It's ok to be bad, but rallying against damage meters just makes you willfully ignorant because you're telling everyone that you don't care enough to improve.
  15. Inventory Management Option to auto-sort inventory by quality / type / price. Option to lock / unlock items in your inventory – All unlocked items will be sold when a companion is sent to sell trash. Option to automatically lock all new items received. Option to auto-sell all unlocked / low-quality items when personally interacting with a vendor. Vendors Items purchased from a Commendations vendor can be sold back for a full Commendation refund before it is used / equipped. Commendation vendors should have the respective commendation currency displayed at the bottom right of the buy tab for easy access of available amount on hand. Navigating PvP Armor / Item vendors is a nightmare – Offer the ability to sort the vendor's stock by additional categories such as item type / slot. Results would then be listed in groups, by level required, in descending order. For example, all Earpieces are listed as a group, level 20 to 40, then all Implants in the same fashion, and so on, continuing the trend with Lightsabers, Blaster Pistols, etc. Shift + Right-clicking an item invokes a purchase stack GUMP. User Interface Option to enable Chat Bubbles. Option to enable Party Chat Bubbles. Detachable and scalable UI elements: Separate the player frame, target frame, buffs box, hotbars, party member frames, and quest tracker frame. Each individual frame's position and scale can be manipulated. Target-of-target frame. Add several more hotbars. Each individual hotbar can be swapped between horizontal and vertical alignment. Option to hide the quickslot background when an ability is not assigned to that quickslot. Allow players to export their UI settings & keybinds, which can then be imported on another character. Allow multiple GUMPs to be present on screen and the ability to drag them around with their position remembered. Eliminate the nuisance of a companion returning from a mission and closing you out of a vendor. Icons on Operations Frames to denote player role, determined by their skill tree allocation, to quicker realize who is a Healer, DPS, or Tank. Option to show only my buffs on party members. Option to show only my debuffs on target. Option to show buff durations. Using the /who command in conjunction with a player's name returns their Level, Advanced Class, and Location. Shift-clicking on a player's name in chat returns their /who information. Camera Zoom level persists through all area transitions. Ability to adjust the speed of camera readjustment after it collides with an obstacle, it zooms back out painfully slow in it's current state. Ability to adjust the speed of general camera zooming. Returning the camera view behind your character when traveling should be an option, and can be toggled on / off. Map Facilitate better navigation of Planet maps by allowing users to click into and view the the individual Area map of all respective areas available on the planet, regardless of being present in the Area. Ability to select multiple filters at once. Ability to place marks, notes, and waypoints on the map, which can be / are automatically shared with your group members. Ability to link your marks, notes, and waypoints to anyone outside of your group via whispers and chat. Questing Raise current Mission capacity to 50. All Bonus and Planet missions can be abandoned. Repeatable Missions appear as a different colored icon on the map after you've completed it for the first time. Allow players to link Missions into the chat. Combat Improve the response time between a player's keypress and their character taking action. There's a slight delayed response on the activation of practically every ability, giving a sense of feeling disconnected from your character. Better Visual and / or Audio cues for reactives and procs. Option to have procs appear on FlyText. Option to show ability name and / or icon on FlyText when affected by that ability. Heals / Damage / Periodic Effects / etc. Combat Log. Dual-specialization. Switching between Healer and DPS roles should be seamless and each build should remember their respective hotbar layout / quickslot ability assignment. Training dummies located in the Combat Training section of the Republic / Imperial Fleet to practice rotations, builds and healing. Targeting Tab-targeting should prioritize enemies at the center of your screen and then cycle through all other available targets on subsequent key press. Ability to select your target through nameplates. Option to cast on target’s target. When a friendly player is selected, all beneficial abilities will affect them, while all hostile abilities are forwarded through them and onto the current hostile target they are attacking. Party Dice Roll function. Flashpoint and Heroic LFG system. Warzones Groups do not disband upon entering a Warzone queue. Cross-server Warzone queues. Ability to queue for specific Warzones. Option to Votekick players in Warzones. 75% of player vote seems reasonable. Warzone matches that have started with a shutdown sequence due to low number of participants should have teams scrambled, or end with a draw at the conclusion of the match if the sequence was aborted mid-match due to late arrivals. Galactic Trade Network Needs an overhaul to include collapsible categories that turn into subcategories. The Armor category would contain three subcategories: Heavy Armor, Medium Armor, and Light Armor. Each subcategory would then list respective item slots therein, such as Head / Chest / Hands. A visual example: Weapons Armor Heavy Armor Head Chest Hands etc. Medium Armor Light Armor Ability to custom search the GTN immediately without need to select categories. Right clicking an item in your inventory while the GTN search is up should bring up all listed auctions of said item. GTN remembers user-set buyout price for all subsequent listings of the same item. Option to perform class specific searches: Usable by Sith Warrior / Jedi Knight toggle will return Strength-based equipment, Usable by Bounty Hunter / Trooper toggle will return Aim-based equipment, and so forth. Quality of Life Option to auto-skip in game cut-scenes outside of conversations, such as The Voidstar introduction and your ship taking off. Option to enable game audio in Background; game audio persists through a minimize or a defocus if playing in windowed mode. Vehicles allowed in spaceports. Allow players to link their abilities and talents into the chat. Allow players to bind Mark charms to a hotkey for easier marking. Weapon preview. Option to toggle helm on / off only during conversations. Option to toggle helm on / off for companions. Option to mute companions. Option to toggle helm only during conversations. Option to have companions automatically deposit crafting materials into the player's Vault when returning from a crew mission. Less hurdles when traveling; Fleet -> Loading -> Walk to Ship -> Loading -> Select Planet -> Walk off Ship -> Loading -> Walk through Airlock -> Loading -> Walk across Orbital Station to take ship to the surface -> Loading -> Arrived. Server merges, transfers, and / or cross-server functionality in the meantime to alleviate all the downsides that come with low population. Macro system that uses a priority-based/fallback system: Target Modifiers @mouseover / @mouseoverui - The @mouseover / @mouseoverui targeting works when the cursor is hovering over party member portraits, companion portraits, and names in the Ops panel. @self @focus @lasttarget @targettarget Modifiers [alt] [ctrl] [shift]
