  1. I'm not quite sure how to avoid this exploit, other than refusing to group with two or more players from the same guild in 55HMs, unless you know and trust the guild.
  2. The best solution? Expertise only works in Warzones. Problem solved. As of now, they've been trying to balance it with via the level balancing system "Bolster", which is a kludge. However, it fails to fix a major problem... the outrageous imbalance Expertise has outside of Warzones on PvP servers and in duels. So, they either need to remove Expertise {best idea} or give a temporary-PvP-encounter-Bolster-buff when you're PvP'ing outside of warzones or dueling. I know they already have some useful code in place to detect when you're currently in a PvP battle because you get the PvP healing debuff, so just add a temporary-PvP-encounter-Bolster-buff to that.
  3. The class stories and plethora of non-heroic quests littering so many worlds. 'Just sayin' 100% Agree that raid content is a waste of resources and bad for game balance. I always wondered why MMO companies wasted vast resources "greasing" such a small, yet "squeaky", percent of the population. I have quit several MMOs due to their overpowering of the "ubers". Those companies worked quite feverishly to drive me and other casual gamers away.
  4. Unfortunately, if they did try to give points for actually being social, people would exploit it; then they would revert to the original social system rather than spend time trying to fix the exploits... just like they did with PvP awards outside of warzones.
  5. This is an example of bad-RP called "God Modding". If they were to add it, the proper way to do so should be text that reads something like "xxx attempts to lick yyy". Secondly... are you serious?! bleh. Villynne responds, "just my gore stained war boots please...", while attempting to high kick it down xxx's gullet.
  6. So snap to it, Bioware! The sooner you post it on the market, the sooner you get paid!
  7. [i ran out of stories on the Imperial side, although] my [Legacy] family will always be Loyal Imperials; well, loyal to their own plans to rule, anyway... and so the Legacy thrives, 'sending a couple of our most promising daughters to spy on the Jedi's Republic and sabotage from within. We have already reaped (both literally and figuratively) vast rewards as our young jedi councular, indirectly through inaction, slew countless jedi knights and masters, including a vital member of the Council. We're so very proud! Seriously, the global chat used to be filled with complaints about Imperials rarely winning. I surmised it was due to this likely chain of events: Only so many wz comms are awarded per side with winners getting more -> since Imperials numbers were greater, we had longer queue wait times thus less chance for wz comms -> Republic's numbers being smaller, they likely got into a wz whenever they pleased thus wz comms came easier -> due to this imbalance, the Republic soon acquired far more wz equipment, then used their unearned advantage to sully your corpses. THE END. Balance slowly began to return when Bioware changed the queue so you could "practice" against your own faction. Then, it helped even more when they added Bolster, which brought even greater balance to the wz equipment disparity. So, basically, come back Imperials, you're no longer forced to fight in highly imbalanced wz's. [personal testimony] With Bolster, I played level 55 wz's in all self-crafted gear with no Expertise and often ended up at or near the top of the score chart, but not always; sometimes you pop in late or resign yourself to guard duty... wz pugs seem to average out 50/50 win/loss, over the long term. Plus, you know that Imperial RP is far more entertaining and amusing. Come on back; it really is good to be evil again!
  8. I wonder how Sran/Sibek could have such intimate insight into one other; perhaps an undisclosed relationship? Could the big secret of <The Sibekian Order> be: Sran was a founding "member"? (double entendre intended). Would the fear of being killed served to fuel a passionate dominant-submissive romance? How will the mystery unfold?
  9. Hopefully, all the goobers who clicked our server during their character creation just because Jung Ma was at the top of the list, flying past the warning box explaining RP, will transfer to non-RP servers. Alas, I fear they'll need some motivation... To truly fix this problem, Bioware may need to convert or transfer everyone on our server to another, then make a new RP-PVP server with a much better explanation of RP -and- actively moderate/police naming and ooc speech in /say /yell /emote. I've played other games that will forcibly remove ooc/toxic players from RP servers. As a paying customer, I do expect RP enforcement; if Bioware still can't afford to, please raise my rates if that's what it takes to make it happen.
  10. Hmm.. as I recall, this "guild" was recruiting/advertising in game that anyone who joins will also become a compulsory member of the Sibekian Harem, whether or not your female or male?! 'not interested myself, as I'm married and don't erp *sighs at the missed opportunity*. 'just thought any potential recruits would enjoy a sneak peek at some their new duties - oh yes, as I recall from the announcement, duties did involved your tongue. Enjoy!
  11. I suppose their reasoning is: You got that gear at 50, and if you stay 50 (by not buying the expansion) you haven't lost any PvP ability at all in wz because Bolster automatically compensates. I admit, though, I would love to trade back in my 50 pvp gear for comms.
  12. Oh I know! I've had to resort to bringing my own comfortable chair to pubs... the Dominator Throne. And, my ship's pilot seat works. /SIGNED - adding a few extra seats at the more popular pubs shouldn't be so bad.
  13. I role played the Jedi Consular as a spy planted by my imperial family, since I was stubbornly good-natured and would not have made it past the Sith academy. [some back story events dropped for brevity] Pa-pa's last words before parting "be wary of those Jedi zealots indoctrinating those poor children into becoming self-sacrificing fools who place others above themselves. You are every bit as important as anyone else, even more so to your family. If their philosophy gets you killed or gravely injured, we'll hunt down every last person you helped and end them". So, as the story progressed, simply by my own inaction, I did more damage to the Jedi Order and the Republic than all my Imperial characters combined; the list of dead Jedi knights and masters was startling. And, as a bonus, the Emperor was weakened, thus increasing the odds of our clan/family's desire to displace him; plus, I could subvert the the Rift Alliance army our our ends if necessary as they pledged their loyalty to me more so than the Jedi or the Republic. Needless to say, Pa-pa was WELL pleased! I intend to stay on as long as my cover is secure. And, as Pa-pa notes, any Sith I slay to keep my cover were obviously unworthy of life. So, my Jedi Consular story, combined with a predetermined character personality and back story, resulted in quite the unexpected experience.
  14. Oh, I know! It's as if the model designer assigned to children - was drawing Caucasian caricature from an Asian perspective! I'm still glad they decided to add children playing at the entrance to Maceb. The world seems less realistic without Complete families when they are suppose to be present, such as towns and refugee camps.
  15. This is obviously an accident, but now that it's in place, whether or not it ever even makes the "fix" list remains to be seen.
