They didn't really "come through BIG time". They delivered what the said they would. It's surly a bad case when a company selling you somthing they said they would and as a consumer your very happy No dis-respect to OP, just the situation made me smile and be sad at the same time.

Thats the idea.....you need a bit of skill and technique to win. If it was just a simple tug of war the match would be dominated by gear and organisation at high levels. With this, you can steal the ball, give it a good pass and your team have scored. It's innotive, and I love it along with many others. Just because it isn't a faceroll doesn't mean it's bad.

I think your also forgetting that there is this aspect in many other MMO's, even the fan-favorite WoW. think about Alteric Valley, the bracket when I played was 61-70. Although there where a few people not 70, majority (probably 38/40) where 70. Thats what this will be like when people have hit the max level. Even since last ngiht I've noticed that the average level seems to be going from 15-20 to 30+, and even saw a couple of 40+. Give it time, and it'll be fine. then when your 50, you can kill the lowbies that you so muched complained about.

Your only a low level I can gather from you saying your going to wait til higher levels. Come back at 50 and try again.

So perhaps a slight over-exaduration in the title, but as it says are we just healers? I really want to rchoose sorc as, in other MMO's I enjoy range dps with the offspec of healing. All I seem to see here is questions about healing and such. So is it possible to be a competative dps as a sorc for both pvp and pve, or is the only way to get into groups as a healer? Hmmm the operative looks..... maybe not my cup of tea so much. The assissin from what i've seen from video's seems to be melee melee melee lightening, rinse and repeat? Am I right or thereabouts with saying this?

Hello SWTOR community! So a brief history of my experience. I have played World of Warcraft since beta, and during that time I played mainly as a rogue, but also as a druid in the latter stages of wotlk, shortly before I quit. Now, I absolutely loved playing rogue, all aspects of it were great for me and it never got boring popping up behind someone beating the hell out of them in a battleground. Likewise, I really enjoyed slashing at npc's heel's which would eventually kill them. I played rogue to high warlord / glad in 2 seasons, and druid to glad in wotlk as restoration. I was forced to re-roll druid to heal and that became my main as I could also have the feral cat as a rogue type character. Anyways, the same cities / boss mechanics / attitude of people eventaully got to me and I stoped playing. Now, here I am trying to return to MMO's in the form of SWTOR. So, people out there, Beta testers or people with EA, which class / setup is best for me? As previously stated I really like the stealth mechanic and attacking form behind someone. (No pun intended) I was really considering shadow assassin as the video's I've seen look very promising, but I figured the best advice I could get would be from one of you guys first hand. From past experience unless your going to fully embrace the RP side of the server it's not worth it. Not being willing to Role-play can get you into trouble and as I found out, it got pretty annoying people speaking in old English all the time and calling me sir Etc. All servers are going to have the "elitists" and try-hards but I guess you just gotta deal with them or ignore them.

How long was the queue? you waited for no action and then had to re-queue right? Personally I'd prefer that than to get in, get no xp and realise however long of my life was wasted. Ok if the queue's are instant its not too bad. That's the only suggestion I could think of.

I have to admit, I do like the idea of open world PvP more than any other aspect of it. The fact your minding your own business (In most cases) and all of a sudden someone comes up behind you to try and kill you, you've lost the advantage and need to think fast, or die. Alright, in some cases when theres a group of people going around killing you 4v1 it's not fun, but thats what happens in war. War isn't fair, and you just have to deal with it. World pvp is great as long as it happens. WoW (Hate to compare, but for simplicity) was amazing in vanilla, or at least I thought so. But when you could fly world pvp became non-existant (Except in heavily populated zones) People should be encouraged to fight for materials they are gathering or to loot a certain mob. Survival of the fittest and such? Anyways, thats my 2 cents, and I'm just glad my forum account has finally been activated so I can join in with everything
