  1. No, but the suggestion that you made earlier would seem to be that BioWare has somehow bought out 51 reviewers to give them a positive review.
  2. So the article you linked is about how Metacritic found out about corrupt practices by a review site, then dropped them, then talks about how Metacritic vets their review sites. So... http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/star-wars-the-old-republic Oh look. An 8.5/10. 51 positive reviews, two mixed reviews, zero negative. Not to mention that the site you linked to for that article also gave TOR an 85/100.
  3. The billing date is irrelevant. It's the day that the subscription expired. I thought I was having the same issue with losing two days, but if you count it out (I did a 90 day sub): 11 remaining in January (counting today) 29 in February 31 in March 19 in April (when sub runs out) 11+29+31+19 = 90.
  4. This news is new and exciting.
  5. That run animation... my god... what's wrong with her?
  6. You could also just follow a guide. http://www.swtor-spy.com/datacrons/
  7. Sitting on about 600,000 or so. I had nearly 1,000,000 when I hit 50.
  8. It just happened to me. Was almost there and then a splash screen popped up and I and the other riders found ourselves on the ground with the balloon nowhere in sight. Was able to get the Blue Shard by force charging a guy standing just inside the alcove, which put me on the Sand Crawler, then charging his companion who was standing by the shard. Then dropped down as usual for the red.
  9. Theoretically, yes, but in practice, it frequently isn't caught. If you go to another state for example to buy something (that isn't your state of residence) and pay a lesser sales tax, you're supposed to pay the difference in tax to your state. No one does, though. And it's all based on where you are. There's always a disclaimer that says your payments can be subject to local/federal tax laws. It's true Even those of us studying to become tax specialists have issues comprehending all the ins and outs of the tax code. Doesn't help that the tax code conflicts with itself in multiple areas.
  10. It really is unfortunate. There are legitimate issues with the game, but everyone (myself included) gets so sensitized to these kinds of threads that it often becomes an exercise in just skimming the first few words, then replying based on that, or based off a thread title. It also doesn't help that anything that doesn't have some apocalyptic prediction in the title gets knocked off the first page in seconds.
  11. A Logitech two button mouse with a scroll wheel!
  12. I have yet to experience a server crash, extreme loot lag, or any of the other myriad of issues that plagued WoW at launch. A Star Wars game doesn't have live mounts? ONOES. Who cares. I love my speeder. Besides, what the hell would we ride? Parading around Correlia on a Dewback would look ridiculous. And? I just pressed my x key, and sat down. I have used that command at most, 10 times in my entire seven years playing WoW. Not until Cataclysm, unless you're talking about the wolves who would randomly attack mobs. But those aren't critters. You know those mission and gathering professions? Those are like your "secondary" professions, while your main one is crafting.
  13. I'm 20, have been playing MMOs for over seven years, console games for even longer, and absolutely love this game. I was never a huge Star Wars fan, but this game has actually made me want to dig a bit more into the Lore of the Expanded Universe.
