  1. This video highlights the difference between difficulty and fabricated difficulty. I felt that it clearly communicated a number of issues that SWTOR faces. I've stopped playing this game months ago, but I have this lingering disappointment in a game that as you can see by my account date - I had been anticipating for quite some time. Alas, here it is.
  2. You're implying that an expansion won't yield as poorly as the 300 misspent millions. Marketing? Really?
  3. The hero engine. And the terrible development team with zero creativity.
  4. They don't work. The game is designed to keep opposing factions as far from each other as possible.
  5. Rose colored glasses have nothing to do with the crap this game is. SWG was released nearly a decade ago, and even in it's unfinished state, it was a better game at launch than this game will ever be. And no, subscription count has nothing to do with the game's quality. See WoW.
  6. The Hero engine does not support open PvP. When my draw distance is 15 meters, I can't see the zerg to avoid it.
  7. Servers will merge. After the majority of the population leave for better games.
  8. The unsubscribe button. Where I keep my money. Instead of waste it.
  9. I've unsubscribed from SWTOR. Unfortunately I purchased the 6 month subscription. I've already uninstalled. This game is garbage. GW2 is great. It will hold my attention with Planetside 2 for the forseeable future.
  10. I'm watching Game of Thrones. Passing the time until GW2 drops by coming here to share with the developers just how dissatisfied I am with their product. After spending $150 on the collectors edition of this title, I do believe I've earned my right to that.
  11. So I'm spoiled if I think a game is not worthy my money? It's not a matter of affording or not, it's a matter of principle. I would sooner wipe my backside with $15 before I gave it to EA.
  12. They've been working on TESO since 2007, and I've also heard rumors of TESO purchasing a less final version of the engine. Let's hope they put less effort into voice acting and more into polishing and optimizing.
  13. Both TESO and SWTOR use the Hero Engine. As we've seen with SWTOR - the Hero engine is absolutely worthless and both games will be victim to the engine they use. SWTOR tried very ambitious things with the Hero engine, and in some ways found success. However, in any instance where more than 20 players are on screen fighting - the frame rates of even the best computers drop to "unplayable."
