  1. You're not looking for a percentage to have your crit at, your looking for the crit rating. Crit percentage comes from 3 places: crit rating from gear, crit chance increase from main stat, and crit chance increases from the skill tree. Your skill tree additions don't add to you DR, and your main stat DR is theorized to be anywhere from 10k main stat to 25K main stat. Where the actually DR comes in is from crit rating, which starts to get DR around 300 (if I'm not mistaken). In heal spec I was able to get close to 40% crit chance, where as in TK or Balance spec I'm around 35%. Each of the four main specs (Seer, TK, Balance, Hybrid DPS) has a different crit rating they should stack to. You're surge should almost always be around 75%. The only exception to this (as much as I've researched) is the TK spec, which favors more alacrity than the other specs due to it's abundance of force and cast heavy rotation. And just to make sure I explain as much as possible, there are two tiers of stats. Mods come with Main stat, Endurance, and a tier 1 stat. Enhancements come with Endurance, a tier 1 stat, and a tier 2 stat. Tier 1 stats include power, crit, defense, and absorbtion. Tier 2 stats include surge, alacrity, accuracy, and shield. Given this info you can only ever trade power for crit (or vice-versa) and surge for alacrity (or vice-versa). Keep this in mind as you are trying to spec out your gear. In terms of set bonuses, I know when I healed I preferred the 2 piece PVP and the 2 piece PVE set bonuses. The extra 50 force of the 4 piece PVE healing set is nice, but as long as you are executing your rotation correctly you will never run out of force. In DPS spec I roll with the 4 piece Masters. In TK the extra alacrity is pretty important. It also helps in the hybrid DPS spec since you cast tk throw so often.
  2. Willpower augments are always the best choice. They increase your crit chance as well as bonus damage. While power will give you more bonus damage compared to willpower, the difference between the two comes down to something like .001 in difference because of your percentage increase to main stat

  13. This same thing happened last week, and my guild has been unable to do NP for some time now. Last night one of our guildies was actually present during someone glitching it out. He was stealthed in front of the tablet watching out for Imp groups trying to do it when two pub people waled up and started continuously summoning NP. One would die, the other would rez, and they would repeat. My shadow was baffled as to why they would do this, but didn't give it much thought. Until he noticed them leave and saw that the tablet was unclickable. Somehow them constantly clicking over and over glitched out the tablet. This is a very annoying bug. 16 mans are difficult enough to coordinate when we don't have to worry about the content being unable to be completed.
  14. As any long time 50 will tell you there is a very real problem in the form of Commendation accumulation. I have several friends that have hundreds of Columi Comms sitting in there inventory. Not to mention all the Tionese Crystals/Comms that have no use after just a few Operations' runs. I propose a trade up program for these comms. A simple 15:1 ratio of Columi Comms:Blackhole Comms would be enough to incentive me (and many other 50's) to run more Flashpoints and normal Operations. Not only does this create a use for the lower tier comms for long time players, it also gets these gear'd & experienced players to run lower level content with fresh 50's. Thus enriching the community through cooperation, and bolstering the overall experience of all players. Now it's important to note the exact ratio is worth examining further, however I believe the overall idea is sound enough to warrant implementation.
