  1. Its been an interesting couple of months with this game. For me, the major problems with this game (and I'm only interested in PvP) 1. No Open RvR - Ilum doesn't count and I think should have been deleted a long time ago. This is a must have for any pvp game. 2. PvP End game - There is no end game system to keep you fighting, no rankings, or tables or ladfers or guild states or anything. Gear is not enough, as once you have it there is no point and I don' think they should keep introuducing gear to keep people playing. I hate gear games, I'd be happy with all cosmetic gear. The game should be fun without gear or its not worth playing. 3. PvP Gear and Valor rank system - This is the worst game I've ever play in terms of the system thats used. If chance based is not bad enough that actually ruined the whole system for a lot of people by giving out free valor after 1.1 and left it like that. 4. CC system. As melee I hate it. Too much in the game imo and makes it more of a range game. Thats not balanced. 5. End game content - there is nothing to do...without Ilum you only have warzones and they get boring after a while. the 1.2 changes that are being proposed even though I don't really know what they are, should have been around from day one. 6. No macro support - I would have thought this was standard these days. Would be great to clean up the toolbars...my poor little brain can't handle 26 different buttons to press. 7. No confidence in the development team - Since launch I think some of the changes that have been made have made the game worse. Fundamental changes that have killed the game for a lot of people. I don't know whether the leadership can make this into a good pvp game but I'd love to see them do it. Do you have any direction? You can't make a game and then fundamentally change what it stands for as you go along...if you've made be choices live with them, people who like those choices will stay and those that don't will go. If you keep changing your mind you'll piss off everyone at some point. If the game had ranked matches, 8v8 queues, queue for what you want and maybe more warzones to choose from, if those things were present and a really good ORvR game then I think a lot of pvp'ers would be attracted to this game. Playing a Marauder has a good feel too it, better than a lot of games I've played if a little too complicated for my liking. I'll keep an eye on upcoming pvp content to see if I resub, if anything happens before a couple of major titles are released in the coming months. Enjoy.
  2. They are going to put group vs group queues in...yes this should have been in from the start but you can't take premades out of the game or it will be a **** pvp game. Pvp is all about team work, if you've not tried it I suggest you join a guild and make a team. Soloing in PvP is the a load of crap.

    Valor 70+ gear

    I seriously hope they don't introduce any new tiers of gear until they sort out the valor system properly. They have already given some classes a rediculous advantage with the valor farming. If they introduce more tiers I'll seriously consider cancelling subs. They have screwed PvP up enough lready, I pray they don't screw it up anymore.
  4. Link gear to commendations instead of quest completion. Allow commendations and valor to be generated during the game for kills or objectives and bonus applied at the end.
  5. People need to pvp before they get to 50. Learn how to play the matches and try to gear up as much as possible when you hit 50 wz's. I've seen too many people with green gear in Warzones, and some that don't even know how to pass the ball in huttball. Theres nothing more annoying in a competative match, when you need a win (which are very hard to come by) then some guy gets the ball and either doesn't pass it so you can score or doesn't pass it and lets the opposition score and win the match. Its just common sence. I can't be any fun with no gear or any experiance if you come up against fully geared people. It won't take long to gear up, but make it easy on yourselves.
  6. If you hit 50 do some daily quests and get a full set of purple mods...it will make life easier. Noobs who can't play also kill the Warzone for anyone looking to win.
  7. lots...I don't have the time to waste when you join a team with bad players. Winning war zones is about luck...decent team and you win. Rarely have I found a competative match that actually worth playing. Give 8 man queues.
  8. I totally disagree with the Original post in my thread. Its the opposite of my experiance playing a melee class. CC is too strong in the game and makes it hard for melee to dish out the dmg. Range dps is much easier.
  9. This really is so simple....just have battlemaster bags that you can buy with commendations...no other sue for them. The thing is when you get full battlemaster, which doens't take that long...what do you do then? Quit game? They need to sort the end game pvp fast or lose another wave of players.
  10. Your right its not bad, its aweful for PvP. Whats worse is that it was better before they ****ed with it.
  11. I should have my weekly done now. No reason to play anymore other that to get bags in the hope of gear, in the hope that something might be done to make this game good. FIX THIS BUG...and stop wasting time breaking the rest of the game.
  12. Keeping in line with this thread. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=279714 I'm not going back to Ilum only another patch is made. I need bags but will live without them, its just a waste of time now as you don't get credit for killing someone and there are too few chests. I don't see why anyone would go there, other than maybe when everyone is asleep and have a chest fest. Has anyone tried the PvP zone on the planet? We might have to make our own duels in the arena to entertain ourselves.
  13. I just rolled a sorc...top dps at level 10 with no gear. Such as easy class to play at that level, but I've only tried merc and Marauder to compare.
