  1. Not anymore, you should have chosen the Dark Side option when you had the chance : so you would have skipped the entire fight. Just don't fight the waves too close to the cave's entrance, you'll be overwhelmed. Try dragging them towards the soldiers NPC, they'll help. Hopefully you are at least lvl 28 and have disable droids, that helps a lot. I did it on my annihilation marauder at lvl 30 with Quinn. Thanks to my disable droids skill and his carbonized stream we could CC a lot of mobs and didn't have too many issues.
  2. Don't know if you are aware of that, but if you don't live in the USA, you can't order the security key... and even more stupid, I can't download the app from Google Play because it says that this app is not allowed in the country where my smartphone is registered. So yeah, some of us really can't get the security key even when they want to (I had the security key when I was playing WoW btw), it's not about being lazy. I guess I'm lucky that I receive the mail with the one time password without issues so far
  3. Still with Quinn on Makeb, near the overtanks -3888, -225
  4. With Quinn on Makeb Makeb Imperial Orbital Station (this one made me lol )
  5. That's an interesting theory, and would make a great basis for a fanfiction, but I don't really agree with this. Baras wants you dead because you are becoming too powerful and are a threat to him (the apprentice that will kill their master in the end). I don't really see him stage a doomed murder attempt just to unsettle you, he's too pragmatic to willingly waste an opportunity to kill you. The setup was probably well planned and meant to succeed, and seemed easy only for gameplay reasons (player being alone and the fight has to be doable by a solo player). As for Quinn being insecure, keep in mind that not every female player made the same conversation choices. In the course of the romance you can really be a b.... to Quinn and he'd have every reason to mistrust you That's just a shame that your choices don't have any real consequence on how the romance plays out. I do believe that Quinn is completely loyal to you after the incident, based on what he says on Corellia + the very last conversation, but that's just me
  6. On my female IA I would have liked to get Sanju Pyne as a companion and romance option after Balmorra. He's cute and more fun than Vector And being stuck with that b.... Kaliyo till Alderaan was really a pain
  7. That conversation is the 6 th one you get in chapter 3 right? Indeed, that could work well, if you just stop talking to him right after the first conversation in chapter 3 (duty and devotion), where he I went a bit further than that , because I think the third-to-last conversation (technical changes) can also make sense after the incident, as one of the options has him saying :
  8. That makes sense actually, because it's clear that the very last conversation in the romance arc (training the future) is supposed to happen AFTER the incident. Malavai starts the conversation with : I decided to do that with my juggernaut, I'm holding back on the 3 last conversations in the romance, and will trigger those only after the "incident"
  9. Something that might help you with getting those conversations, just right click on your companion and listen to what they tell you. If they say "I want to talk to you in private", then either the cantina or the ship will do. If they say "I want to talk to you when we go back to the ship", then you really need to go to the ship, the cantina won't do. When you are at the right location to trigger the conversation, you will see a yellow triangle icon over their head, just like any questgiver in the game.
  10. I agree, Malavai is the cutest, wish all my female characters could have him And I really like his voice too, that posh english accent and intense voice acting, really hope too hear more of him in the future.
  11. yep that's what I meant, my marauder ran with Quinn until she got lvl 50 and finished her storyline. Act 3 is not so much different from act 1 or 2, you still lose affection with Quinn if you choose anti-imperial, irrationnal options or Being LS or DS isn't really the point, Quinn seems to be lawful/neutral in alignment. I played as LS and didn't have any problem getting 10k affection with Quinn, as long as I was supporting the empire and the imperial soldiers we met, and making efficient/rationnal choices.
  12. I also used Malavai from Balmorra till the end, and I really don't see how you can lose that much affection with him. Worst thing I had was -1 from some of my choices, no big deal. Are you making anti-imperial or irrationnal choices ? If it bothers you that much, just hit the esc key as soon as you see the minus affection window and switch to another companion for that conversation.
  13. 1 - Always loot the quest item/ the chest right away, even if it means turning your back on the mobs and taking some hits. You will survive anyway, and if you don't do this you almost have a 100% risk someone will steal your item, I learned this the hard way... 3 - Been guilty of that because I don't always pay attention to what other people are doing, as I really like watching the cutscenes and hiting the esc key to explore every possible option in conversations.
  14. Pierce is not really a romance option for the female SW : I don't know if you can flirt with Pierce when you are already married to Quinn though, my female SW didn't try as Pierce is not her type at all
  15. Very bad idea indeed : - there are a lot of players who don't care about romances at all and wouldn't give a damn about any of fhe LIs dying. So the concept of a whole expansion about the loss of your LI would be quite boring for them. - those, like me, who do care for the romance and their LI would be angry/disappointed and probably leave the game over this. We want more content with our favorite companions, not our LI taken away from us To quote another poster : If they kill my Malavai I'm out!
