  1. Haha, I was going to reply to your PvP post too. Check us out in <Quantum>. We're always looking for talented, adaptable people and center our guild around such qualities. We mostly raid in the evenings starting at 7:30 Pacific time. It's been a loooong lull with the same 2 ops for over a year now but everyone everywhere is excited about the new expansion coming and for our part, we're looking to kick up the activity here very soon. In that thought, we're looking for more active people and training is a good part of the game. If you like, contact me or anyone else from Quantum such as Ginga'ninja or Arcutas in game for more info and take a look at our website. -Parasi Leader of <Quantum>
  2. Hey guys, sounds like you might like us in <Quantum> but we're Republic only - you didn't say which side you're on. If you're with us then check out our website and contact Ginga'ninja or Arcutas in game (or myself). We're laid back but also addicted to performing at the highest possible level. Many of us have history with other noteworthy MMO's such as EQ/EQ2, and the (in)famous SWG. ;-) We raid starting around 7:30pm Pacific scheduled on our website week-by-week, but Fri and/or Sat each week are pretty consistent plus a weeknight raid most weeks. When the expansion hits we aim to kick up the activity quite a bit. We'll also look to add quite a few more people to the roster by then as well. We like to maintain a single team environment as opposed to having disparate groups within the same guild tag and as such also like to keep it somewhat small. Hit me up for more info or talk to one of the guys I mentioned. Good luck in your guild search! -Parasi Leader of <Quantum>
  3. Parasi <Quantum> - Sentinel - Watchman - 36/10/0 - 3640 - 1.5M Gear is full dread forged minus a couple comms mods I never bothered to upgrade + the bugged UW SA relic. Is the link the way you want it? I don't use TORParse that much.
  4. If you decide to go for damage on the commando and like it, we often need another ranged in <Quantum>. But you can add Ginga'ninja or Thesquirrel to friends or find me in game (Parasi) if you just want to hop in at times. Everything else is good for us too, but we're a little melee heavy at the moment. Summer will be a little slower for us but after that we'll get back to doing a lot more ops and want more people too. Can check us out if you like. Recruitment info
  5. First off, welcome back :-) I'm not sure that we've played together in the past, but it's always nice to see a vet return. I can answer a few of your questions. I'd recommend getting the PvP relics first for all your characters, even if just the Obroan, as they're a nice place to start and are quite easy to obtain. It does take quite a while to get 2 relic drops for each but I think the money can be better spent elsewhere given the similarity of Brutalizer and Dread Forged. Get the Serendipitous Assault and Focused Retribution ones for damage and healing classes btw. Guardian and Sentinel DPS output are both great with vigilance and watchman coming out very close to each other though watchman is more versatile and is getting a bit of a boost next month. Vigilance and combat both have great burst though. Focus is the same as always, AE spec only and always behind the others otherwise. I run it for a couple fights these days. That being said, guardian tanks would be in quite high demand if you're pretty good, probably the highest of your listed classes. The most demand though, would be someone who is quite good at more than one role. For commandos, both are great and can be quite needed, again if you're more than decent. Those who can hit in the mid 3000's in testing DPS would be of the highest value but from a recruiting perspective that's probably need #1 of any class right now. Overall, any of the classes you're good at and enjoy can find a good spot in many guilds.
  6. Hey, check out <Quantum> on our website or in game. We'd love to have you join us and hit all the ops. We've been trying to secure a scoundrel healer and someone with a good DPS alt is great :-) I play a sentinel primarily and am always looking for people hitting great numbers. We raid at 7:30 or 8pm (Pacific) and schedule week by week with signups, usually preferring Friday and Saturday but also some weeknights. If that works for you see our website and contact Parasi, Ginga'ninja, Arcutas, or Thesquirrel in game. You can also see our recruitment post for a lot more info. -Parasi
  7. Hi there. Check us out in <Quantum> we're always open to taking someone from SM to HM ops and we love to have great people on our team. We focus primarily on HM ops but mix in old ops and easy ones from time to time. First off, our raids start around 7 or 8pm (Pacific) and we tend to do more on Friday and Saturday but schedule week by week with signups. We're working on DF NiM and doing DP HM each week and put others up on the schedule by request or just to mix it up. If that works for you check out our website and contact us in game for more info. We've also go more info in our recruitment post
  8. Hiya. You sound like a fun and friendly fellow. You might like <Quantum> for being quite like what you're asking for. We value a smaller team environment with good friends and high personal standards but not guild requirements and little competition. First off, we run most of our ops starting @ 7:30 or 8pm (Pacific time) and schedule them week by week, mostly on Fri/Sat but also Wed or Mon quite often (any day could be requested if it fits schedules). We actually are getting into DF NiM already and can farm DF/DP HM but we regularly bring new people in or bring some alts which need to gear up so it's ahead of the curve with plenty of time to learn as well. We'd like to do more SM ops each week as well and people who are interested in them are a benefit in that. We also quite like to help skilled players learn new content. You can check out our website for more info and contact Parasi or Ginga'ninja in game.
  9. UPDATE: We would like 1 NiM ready ranged DPS currently (1/5 NiM DF but not rushing) and can take healers, DPS and 1 tank for HM/SM. Sub-55 characters are welcome but we have few people playing low levels. Contact us in-game.
  10. Parasi (Republic) - I've got Might Hilt 34 and Battle Enhancement 34, got a couple others in <Quantum> with the hilt and Adept ? (power/surge) Enhancement. Armorings and mods but I'll have to find out which...
  11. You sound like a great and fun person we'd love in <Quantum> ! We've always aimed to be family friendly, adept, and fun. We have some people sharing much or part of your background in games as well, including myself with EQ/EQ2, and little jaunts into WoW and other. We are, however, a smaller guild intentionally, with everyone currently being level 55 (though many have alts). We focus on raiding, with some PvP, and most people plan their schedules around that but many do all sorts of other daily activities too (GSF, FP's, etc.) You can check us out, even join us for a season as you level, and see how you fit in if you like. We have a website (linked above) and a recruitment post you can check out: Quantum recruitment Contact us in game or on our website: Parasi, Thesquirrel, Arcutas, Ginga'ninja
  12. Updates and some frequent questions: We are always looking for greatly skilled players. Right now, we have a core group who plan to progress through NiM Dread Fortress along with some recent additions potentially staying through the progression. As such, we have room for more and, while we can promise ops every week and gearing up in Dread Forged, we can't promise a spot on the NiM raid every week but HM and some NiM mode runs. This is subject to change by the time DP NiM releases. 16-man is a target. We're not pushing to do 16-man ops exclusively at this point but we'd love to once we have the personnel for it regularly. In the near future it will be 8-man primarily with 16-man ops mixed in, We are a republic only guild - some members play Imperial alts but we neither have a guild presence nor focus on it. We schedule our ops week by week allowing for our members' various life committments but generally do the hardest content (progression, etc.) on Friday and Saturday starting at 8pm (Pacific) mostly. We are not opposed to people being in other raid groups aside from Quantum, but we are only interested in bringing in people who want to devote themselves to our team and join others on the side. Ranked PvP - yes, please! We have not had a presence in pre-made ranked in Season 1 but hope to schedule about one night per week for ranked warzones after 2.7. Some of our people have done pre-season 1 ranked (8-man) and also solo ranked more recently. This is a passion - we kill imps :-) - but it's also a side hobby. We'll spend more time on ops than warzones.
  13. To be honest, it doesn't excite me at all. Nice, it could be... but I agree that it must be a social thing for it to be a benefit to the game. While some people will really get into their own private space, in addition to their ship, it get's old being in there alone after a while. (this speaking as a former EQ2/SWG player with various fancy status homes and TONS of end game / crafting trinkets etc.) The social possibilities are nice, and housing is interesting to some but also another fracturing off of the community as well. Given that we already have player ships, I'd prefer housing be something of a rarity and not given to all (perhaps guild housing with a multi-million credit price tag? I don't know... maybe a steep regular upkeep such that those who want it can pay for it, but those who don't won't want to feel the sting in their checkbooks). Anyway, I don't want to be a downer but I'm only excited at some of the ideas of player housing and wary of it at the same time. Now... if it were down on the planets we already have and required us to travel there as we do already (no instant options, but current speeders QT points etc.) that would be awesome. Also, if there were unique benefits to being in the houses to make people go to them, we could hugely increase the traffic on all the story planets and, if done well, could add a cool dynamic to the game. I mean who wouldn't want a flat hidden in some alleyway on Nar Shaddaa or Courscant? Or a destination home on Alderaan? But... quick travel to home would completely ruin it there. It could be great immersion.
  14. Are you guys looking for a guild that raids UK prime time, shall I assume? We're on US prime times, thinking you sound like a great potential fit for us in Quantum but that would depend on matching the play time.
