HD 7770, SWTOR works perfectly. Just my two cents.

I would advise checking your computer if it has the correct power cords and card slot as well, wouldn't be nice to get your son's hopes up just to crush them.

Just queue for Warzones a lot for the needed XP and queue for Flashpoints every once in a while for gear when needed, otherwise just do all the side quests and bonus quests and bonus series, as well as your class quest and you will be fine, I have never done a Heroic and I have 3 almost 4 (level 49) level 50's. You will be fine.
