  1. PvP is a small part of any PvE based MMO... just because the few PvPers QQ more then the rest of the community combined doesn't mean in the grand scheme PvP matters. Sorry but PvPers do not keep ANY MMO alive. Its PvE raiding that keeps a decent sub MMO alive... the sad thing is SWTOR has failed on the PvE side every bit as much as the PvP side... Once WIldstar Hits this game will go down faster then a cheerleader at homecoming.
  2. it does not matter who you report exploits too they simply do not care about them because it would cost them a player.
  3. that would be a powertech... they are melee characters.
  4. they will never add new classes because they fired the Bioware writers... and EA will not spend the money to make new stories.
  5. like with the chat box their fook up is simply a new "feature" in all reality i spoke with someone who used to work with bioware, and they basically said the bean counters will not allow them to test. They do not want to take the time nor pay the staff to test things correctly. So they simply make a patch and put it live and hope for the best. Then act like all the new bugs are no big deal. Its a shame that the bean counters are not smart enough to realize that putting out a bad product fast is worse then a good product slow.
  6. wow that is one of the dumbest things i have ever seen on the internet.
  7. carbine was working on the game for 4 years before NCsoft bought them. they were funding it themselves which makes a massive difference in the long term.
  8. TS3 is the best one out right now. However most gamers over 25 know the terrible rep TS has before the TS3 makeover, so many won't use it due to how bad it once way. Mumble is the new "hotness" for the people who simply do not know any better. Its lack of features like volume control make it the most annyoing to deal with but it has an overlay that may simple minded people like. Vent is the old standard. There is really nothing wrong with it other then its not been updated in over 7 years. Skype is for internet video sex, its not useful in games unless you are video chatting with a naked chick while gaming which then makes it the best VOIP you can get.
  9. the idea of boosting profits is the wrong idea when making MMOs. If you make a great game it will make money, if you are just seeing to make money you will take shortcut after shortcut and we are left with current SWTOR. If you ever talk to the orginal WoW dev team (the ones making wildstar now) they will tell you they were trying to make the best MMO possible, generating a positive profit loss statement was not what they were worried about. If you make a great game it will make a huge amount of money because its a great game. If you make a game simply to make money will will fail simply because the passion needed to make the game great simply isn't there. When EA bought out bioware EA made it impossible for the coders to work with that passion in mind that is why nearly all of the "bioware" team is gone. Bioware is only a name now it is not the company that made neverwinter nights, baulders gate, and Mass effect 1 that made most of us fans of bioware. Honestly at this point SWTORs lifeline is very limited. Its sub playerbase will more then likely go to 0 once wildstar hits this holiday season/ beginning of next year. SWTOR has subs not because of the games quality because we all know its pretty bad with the EA bean counters not allowing for proper testing and what not. People are playing SWTOR because they want to play an MMO and do not want to play wow so it leaves SWTOR. Once Wildstar hits SWTORs "massive" servers will be the ghost town everyone saw before the first set of server mergers.
  10. at the same time reporting someone for flat exploiting/cheating 7 days in a row at the same time for the same thing and the guy keeps doing it on an 8th day means teh CS department sucks at their job and simply does not care about the game
  11. you are not smart enough to understand the difference in PvP and PvE so there is no point in explaining it to you. Especially seeing how you do not raid.
  12. skill should determine who wins in PvP not gear... a window licker can be overpowered gear wise in open world PvP that is why bad player love PvP in this game, it takes 0 skill to win.
  13. THs current Bioware is not capable of making a good game. The bioware that exsisted before the EA buyout could. Just look at Dragon Age, the game was completed before EA bought them, then look at DAO2 and how crappy of a game that was. The people who made Bioware a good game company are not at Bioware anymore. EA made sure the company was gutted, EA wanted a good name to stick on the boxes of their crap games and they bought the Bioware name to do it. However smart people know Bioware is dead, so them buying the name will not help them.
  14. they recently changed it so that a PvPer can never have an advantage over a high end raider. They removed the PvP defensive stat and gave every player 60% damage reduction against other players, and PvP power the offensive PvP stat even when hard capped will only make you hit another player as hard as a high end raider can hit. So basically if you are a skilled high end raider you can do all aspects of the game in your raid gear, if you are a PvPer you have the ability to pvP on all levels but you cannot do high end raiding in PvP gear. Blizzard admited that it will always take more time and skill to get a complete set of "heroic" rid gear then it will ever take a PvPer to grind the best PvP gear. Basically they treat the people who actually clear the content of the game right. Unlike EAware making it so a window licker can simply eat dirt in a warzone and eventually get enough gear that hes nearly impossible to kill in open world PvP against a raid geared player.
  15. you are 100% wrong... EA controls all aspects of this game. They simply use the bioware name. I know some people who worked for bioware before the buyout and they said EA took over everything that is why over 90% of the bioware employees quit after the buyout. There is no Bioware anymore its simply EA goons using the name. This is why when a game like Wildstar comes out you will basically see all subs for this game vanish. The people paying in large are the people who raid because its simply cheaper to pay the 15 bucks a month to raid and have gear access. Once something better comes along this game will dry up faster then a house wife whos husband forgot her birthday. This game was made to make money, and that is why it failed as an MMO. when a company like Carbine makes a game in order to make a great game it make money simply because its a great game. The people making Wildstar are the people who made wow, they have proven they know how to make a game that can stand the test of time as well as make a good game.
