  1. At least it wouldn't seem like it was made by an intern.
  2. can ppl just have one place to talk about people complaining about dye problems?.......please although i do agree we should be able to colour stuff the way we want
  3. You can implement one primary OR one secondary, or you can implement a combo dye that happens to have the colors you want. If you do find the colors you want, you better stock up on them because they're non-transferable.
  4. The people complaining about how things should be free for subs are being childish. The people complaining about how much of a crap system the dye "feature" are completely justified. New dye system is crap. If they would just copy the dye color system from GW2 (they already copied GW2's method of obtaining dyes) then it would be PERFECT.
  5. First, this is not a complaint thread, this is a constructive criticism thread. Second, the vast majority of people on the forums and in the game agree that the new dye system is a disappointment (to put it mildly). So let's create a list of games with superior dye systems than our new one. I'll start it off -------------------------- Game: Guild Wars 2 System for dye acquisition: Purchasable with real currency in a pack or individually in-game through an auction house. System for dye storage: In-game item until redeemed, then the dye is unlocked in a color-pallet UI element. System for dye usage: Each piece if armor has up to 3 dye slots where the user assigns a color to each slot through the color-pallet UI element. Why you feel it is superior: Easier to use and allows for full customization of colors with no fear of losing colors on armor. ---------------------- Feel free to copy this form for ease of use.
  6. EAoWare should have just copied the GW2 dye system.
  7. I'm one of those people who spends way too much in F2P games. (Read: thousands) I'm one of those people who love to look pretty if a game enables you to. I purchased around 350 dye packs in GW2 and got most of the colors. GW2's system for dying armor worked very well. GW2's system for acquiring and unlocking dyes worked very well. I will not be purchasing any dye packs from SWToR. The dye system is crap in ToR. ToR is subscription-based, GW2 is B2P. GW2's dye system is far superior to ToR's and has made much more money. So why the heck didn't EAoWare just copy Arenanet's system other than the illusion that they'd make more money?
  8. Funny how years of waiting and excitedly reading forums has culminated into this grand disappointment. Let's see if they can at least accomplish something by beating APB's record for shortest game life.
  9. Where did they say this? It wasn't in the patch notes. It wasn't in-game. It wasn't anywhere that I saw. OH THAT'S RIGHT. They didn't ever say this. They even made the turrets killable and aggro-able. Seems that it was working as intended and now BW wants to appease the Republic whiners by taking actions against people's accounts for playing the game the way THEY DESIGNED IT. Exploiting is not domination by numbers. Exploiting is domination outside of the game's design (hacking, using methods unavailable to players, etc).
  10. Republic domination is fine. Roll back Empire players for dominating, though.
  11. Funny how the two responses disagreeing were from Rep players. PvP is what BW wanted on Ilum and PvP is exactly what took place. To "adjust" valor and to "take actions against the accounts involved" is flat out unfair. It's like releasing a new raid instance and then banning players for killing bosses, claiming that it wasn't the dev team's intent to have them be killed.
  12. I agree. I think most people assume that Titan is going to be WoW 2.0 with the same lame graphics, but I think Blizz has a wealth of surprises up their sleeve. As for GW2, it will be glorious. A game created with PvP at the forefront? That's something I can get behind!
  13. I'd feel cheated if I didn't get one!
