  1. Russians are fun to play with/against. Try meeting tha russian WH corps in EVE, them f***ers are crazy.
  2. Considering half the perks are only good for when you are re-leveling a character (things like XP boost and early access to speeders are kinda moot once you hit 50) and the other half are fairly high up on the lvl scale for legacy you will prolly get enough credits to purchase the main perks that are good (field respec, GTN term, ship droid add-on, etc) Once again, what else are you really spending your money on? For end-game the main gear you use is looted, not sold/made. And for lvling a new toon unless you are gonna twink them to hell you can just use the gear theat the get as you lvl them up. This leaves us with haveomg a fairly limited out-flow of credits that just inflates the economy and will cause prices for vanity (see: Cartel store items) items go through the roof as the super rich drive up prices for the stuff they really want that is rare.
  3. Honestly most of the stuff in the store is at most a rather minor convenience item and how much the item is worth (both in time spent to grind out the legacy lvl and the credits needed) is completely depended on YOU. Personally I think some of the stuff could prolly come down in price, but honestly what else are you really spending your credits on?
  4. You just described the end game of every MMO ever. If you want a game of constant character expansion, where the only limits exists inside your own mind. Play a sandbox game. (EVE online and Minecraft are great for this) If you want a story told to you, not made by you. Then play normal MMOs and single player games and suck up the fact that the so called end-game is just more grinding with gear and stat points replacing lvls and experience.
  5. 1.make a alt 2.play that alt 3. ??? 4. Profit
  6. Play an subscribed account and use your monthly CC to save up for the races. Or just pay $15 to unlock 2-3. Honestly I think something like a Race unlock should be expensive since it is not something small, it defines your character (whether you RP or not) and should be earned, either through IG means, having access to that race and unlocking it for all classes, OR through a expensive micro-transaction. Think of it this way. A paying account trying to unlock the Rakkata so that they can make a Jedi Knight one (or w/e) will take maybe 2 months (maybe more maybe less depending on the persons play time/style/w.e) that means they payed $30 and spent all that time to unlock that class. They (the devs) need to keep this in mind when it comes to balancing the price of these unlocks, because if someone can just unlock all the races for $20, why pay $15 a month to have the wider access?
  7. except for where the companion story and how the player interacts with them is concerned. Also what about smuggler/agent and trooper/BH? They have the same armor "type" but very different weapon/offhand.
  8. While I agree that the idea of guild perks would be cool, the legacy system allows people to gain perks for their personal account. Plus there are alot of people who either can't find a guild that they like or just don't have the play time to join one, I personally fall into the 2nd category. I have been around since a shot time after launch and still don't have my main to lvl 50 lol.
  9. Op, make a "new" toon up to tha point where you can name them. Use the "random name generator" option. Add an "x" to the end of the name that pops up, BAM. Original name that it is highly unlikely to see the person who is without the "x" (where my forum handle came from, 9 years or so ago in EQ)
  10. Humans can be any class so the "legacy" unlock for them gives you +100 presence, for all the other races when you get a character of that race (any class) to 50 you can unlock them for use for any class they can't normally be. So, for instance, you could lvl a Sith (Race) to lvl 50, get the unlock, then you can play as a Sith (Race) Jedi Knight, or BH, or Agent, or w/e. The same goes for any of the races.
  11. I think part of the reason they kept pistols only for BH and Rifles only for ops is so it is easier to make stats for gear since we use cunning and they use aim (I think?) and what not.
  12. I'm loving my female agent. Honestly I have only used kaliyo the entire game, mostly from a gameplay perspective because I am a healer operative, but also because I love the banter that the Agent and her have. I don't even really care about the other members of the team and always hate when I am forced to use the others lol. Personally if you want to see what is prolly the closest you will get to a s/s relationship in the game then play a female agent and use kaliyo for all your missions.
  13. Personally I think that it depends on how you build your operative depends on how fluid the combat is. Personally I went the healer rout and I agree that your personal damage routine is a little wonky because of the lack of attacks, you have to realize that since you spec into healing you are going to face that. Looking at the other trees it seems like they have more than enough poison/knife attacks to make up the difference if you were to go that direction instead of being a healer.
  14. Honestly if you are moving across the globe you would think that the fact that your server is no longer in your region should be the least of your worries lol. Tho as far as the op, it took em long enough to allow transfers within the different regions and that is fairly simple, I don't see them ever allowing cross-region transfers.
