  1. I appreciate the fact that y'all listened to our concerns, however I would like to re-emphasize how badly the crafting changes hurt the small guilds like mine. Crafting was our primary source for building out our flagship, and now when we are coming up on finally completing it after all these years of work, the changes make it next to impossible. As it currently stands, I now have to gather millions of materials (I DID THE MATH) to complete the ship with a few left over as extras for either money or for decorations from the conquest rewards. If you could reduce the amount of materials needed, it would go a LONG way towards helping smaller guilds like mine continue their progress towards completing the ship. Thank you for your time and for listening. We were afraid that you didn't care.
  2. I really want to talk to someone in bioware about it. I have a good stockpile of exotic isotope stabilizers in my banks that are now glorified paperweights. The loss of the recipe that uses them for dark projects is seriously upsetting, but not anywhere close to the fact of not being able to use them anymore. They were worth a great deal of credits and is essentially theft without compensation in my honest opinion. If you really wanted to remove them, fine, but GIVE US A FREAKING WARNING. If I'd known, me and so many other people would have 1) not bought them in preparation for this conquest "update", and 2) used them up as best we could before they became useless.
  3. Same! i was stocking up for the update, and they make it completely worthless! Like I don't even think there are any recipes that still use it! It pisses me off beyond belief! It's essentially theft!
  4. And for those of us that spent millions of credits on them? What about us? That's seriously stupid on several accounts. We don't like the increased cost, it punishes, which is never a good thing to have when you are trying to INCREASE participation.
  5. As someone who is a member of a small guild, yet managed to get on the leaderboards of conquests past through crafting, I am EXTREMELY upset by the changes to crafting. These were a fun way for me and some guildmates to have a "crafting war", and fund our flagship expansions, and with the changes to the material requirements for the war supplies and making exotic isotope stabilizers 100% obsolete, it's killed those chances. These crafting wars were one of the few things that made playing this game worth it as I absolutely loathe PvP and the newer content is just plain boring to me. I don't like these changes. Bring the old recipes back, or at least discount the new recipes for war supplies. Making me make 8 grade 2's, 6 grade 4's, 4 grade 6's on TOP of making 4 grade 8's and 9's is WAY overkill and makes it completely worthless to me. The time and cost of making these is WAY too prohibitive. I've already made mention in the crafting forum, but I also wanted to reiterate here. I appreciate your thought for fixing some of the problems in conquest, as i grew tired of seeing the same guilds at the top of the lists all the time, but you've punished the smaller guilds FAR more than the larger guilds in this. I would really recommend bringing back the exotic isotope stabilizers for dark projects, as they were much easier to obtain, and there are now 700 of them sitting in the gtn, with about 110 million credits worth asking, not to mention the people that have huge stockpiles that can't be used anymore, like myself. I will concur with most other people, that the point values are too low, and the rewards aren't rewarding enough. If you were looking to increase involvement in conquests, this seems like it's going in the wrong direction. Sorry if this is too blistering, I just want to convey my feelings in an accurate and truthful manner.
  6. I really don't like the changes to the recipes for war supplies in this new patch. Taking the old recipes and just mashing them together, not even discounting the costs is not good in any sense of the word, is lazy design. If you want to do that, fine, but at a discount. instead of 8 grade 2's or 3's, make it at most 5, instead of 6 grad 4 or 5's, make it 3, etc.... Also, making the exotic isotope stabilizers completely obsolete without ANY heads up for the people that spend MILLIONS OF CREDITS ON THE STUFF is a serious slap to the face. If you want to get rid of them, that's your prerogative, but don't tell people who spent so many credits on the stuff only to find out it's not even good for anything anymore that they're out of luck. Best solution I can think of is simply bringing them back. You tried fixing things, and I appreciate that, but you messed with stuff that was working just fine. Please, listen to us and bring back what was working.
  7. HEY! I've been searching for over an hour and I haven't found an answer yet. WHEN DOES THE DARK VS LIGHT EVENT END?????????
  8. Hey so I just had a thought. I don't know about everybody, but the cartel market seems kinda stupid as far as the packs go. The companion gifts are good, but the crafting materials (jawa junks) are what really draw me. As far as the armor goes, some of it is decent, but most is just the same old stuff, just different colors and kinda uninteresting. So I was thinking of offering a suggestion to bioware if they even bother to read this: What would happen if we had a crew skill oriented pack? Seems like a pretty nice idea to me. Get me the materials I need, and the gifts to keep raising the levels on my companions, THAT would gain my interest. Anybody else got thoughts? Leave a comment!
  9. I was using a level 65 Commando, dps spec, and I was using heals. They weren't in any sense of the word adequate. We died 2 times on cyclops (simply due to raw damage, not because of mechanics), and we gave up on the terentatek bonus boss entirely. And 90% of the tactical flashpoints that I have done in the new system have ended in abandonment. So maybe I'm just a special kind of unlucky, but this is not far and few between. Granted, I haven't done a ton of them, due to the overwhelming failure rate. Also: the wait times for the old flashpoints before this new system weren't anything compared to other games. like seriously you can find stuff to do in the meantime. It's not that hard. Doesn't matter what class you are. Dps(as always) has the longest wait times, but they are usually pretty quick about it. 10 minutes is the longest I can recall.
  10. I like the old system. I just ran Maelstrom Prison tactical flashpoint, and we ran into several issues simply because we didn't have a healer. To me, the tactical flashpoint no class requirement system is really bad, and has led to several RIDICULOUS attempts, all of which end in failure. I think they need to do away with them entirely. It seems too lazy.
  11. One thing: Count Dooku was not a master of Form 5, he was a master of Form 2. He poured over it like kittens to milk. I say before he turned to the dark side, he could have beaten Mace. Period. Because Vaapad Style is extremely reckless, and dooku can easily counter it.
  12. Average companion level is 25, some lower, some much higher. Didn't realize that the grey ones hold a better chance at getting artifacts. Thanks guys!
  13. Anybody else notice the fact that it's nearly impossible to make purple level item modifications? I've got level 500 scavenging, archaeology, underworld trading, treasure hunting, and slicing, and I've barely even seen artifact level ingredients from actual missions! the only way I get them is if I get lucky with the cartel market and get some artifact jawa junk, or buy it off of the gtn, except there's hardly any there! Let me know if I'm crazy. -For it is in passing that we achieve immortality
  14. Thank you for your perspective, it has changed mine and helped me immensly. Sorry for being such a noob, this being my first mmo and everything. And I've done what you've done with freezing force it was SO MUCH FUN
  15. Ok then... thank you for the thoughts. I was still pretty upset when I wrote this and part of it is the lack of perspective. Thank you for giving me ideas. I was being a noob and being stupid. Thank you
