  1. Damn. BW can't get it right. Previous seasons I remember people complaining about rating requirements being too low, "any noob can get it", "pve heroes can get the same rewards as the best pvp players", and stuff like that.... Now it's too high
  2. IIRC, Imperial Alderaan bonus series (which is for around lvl 40 ) have a heroic 2 area with plenty of droids to farm that give Electrum. You can reach it with your republic character but it'll be a rather long trip.
  3. hmm... I think the operative being the last one of their team alive makes sense and it would certainly explain me getting out of combat (along with my other teammates) when he stealthed out. I only remember flashes of those last few seconds since the countdown already had started and I was struggling to stay alive (those concealment crits, man... sheesh ) But for me, I never got out of combat, so it was a big WTH... and also sort of humiliating, lol...
  4. I thought if the target of your stealth cc is in combat already, you cannot do it. I tried it and it doesnt work (I play operative healer) I've seen this plenty of times on those duels Snave organizes, but those I understand. There are only 2 people in combat, one of them stealthes out so s/he gets out of combat, and doing so, the other person also is out of combat which facilitates the stealth cc. But several times I got cc'd like that by an assassin or operative with me being on combat. Most of those times I kind of thought, "well, maybe I did get out of combat for a sec and I got cc'd"... But it just happened to me again on Acient Hypergate. We were holding off an attempt at our pylon, I was healing at 3 other team members, with bunch of HoTs and everything, I got an operative on my face when pylons started their explodign countdown, I use my stun, s/he breaks, stealth out and I just find myself sleep dart'd... W.T.H... There was no way I was out of combat, I was still healing people... What am I missing ? Am I understanding this wrong ?
  5. Who said you're supposed to ? Really. Under 12x, by the time I can even reach the Fleet to access that vendor, I'm level 14, 15. It's pointless to buy it except for its looks, so being that the case, then you can wait. Or like others have suggested, have comms transfered from another character and be done with it. People trying to make a big deal out of this and complaint about it.... sheesh.... That vendor won't go away, that gear has little to offer by the time you have access to that vendor, you're not being gimped by not having it....
  6. First one doesn't make sense to me, actually.
  7. Giving the loot to a pug for creds is no more against the ToS than selling sorc pulls to fleet datacron.
  8. So you're not "prude", this not some judgemental thing and you're not trolling... Okay... I can totally buy that. Why not. But guess what, I don't like seeing people's faces all horribly messed up due to corruption 5 or something like that. It's not 'cool' at all, it's plain silly and just looks like some fish that went bad and smells worse. Well, boo hoo.... I look at the faces I do like and ignore the others... Do the same m8. It's possible.
  9. 28s hilts and armorings are around 40k and 60k. those basic comms wil be better spent to buy the purple mat for the lvl 53 implants which, in several cases are better than the arkanian ones
  10. OP is right. Full marauders/sentinals dps raids are running rampage and that's the only setup you see every day. Nothing else since makes things so easy and awesome.
  11. For grade 6 and below, you make slow profit over time. I don't think that has changed. Problem is new lockboxes, they got overnerfed from what they were in PTS. Now the losses are consistant and pretty bad. While I personally dont' run these for the money but the discovery missions, not a big problem for me. What they did promise for 2.1 was fixing the returns from purple missions. I've ran a couple of bionalisys ones and they look good. Lockboxes ? They said they were aware of it and that they were going to fix it, like eventually, but no ETA of any kind on this
  12. I havent noticed that Positioning, for both the the tank and healer must be really well done. The easiest for me when I heal it, is having the tank on the left wall (not inside on that sort of niche is there), right where the ramp ends. Healer up the ramp healing at 29.x m from tank. I use debuff huge on ops frame, so I quickly see that blue icon thingy on tank, when that happens I immediately turn and move away. As soon as I see I didnt get caught, I get closer and I start healing the tank again while still the stomping happens (seems you only get stunned if you get caught in the area when it starts )
  13. That's what is explained above. The bug is not the shackles being an AoE effect (not sure about its range though), the bug is that only the original target can be freed by other group members running over them. Everybody should be able to get freed by others. That doesnt happen now.
  14. Why do you want someone else to type something that has already been typed, probably much better worded, better formatted than what you can possibly do on ops chat ? What makes ops chat text much better than guides that are proven useful ? If you can't be arsed by reading something in a web page, why someelse should be arsed to indulge you ? That has nothing to do with this. Of course, specific group compositions, gear, etc will change everytime. Otherwise everybody would have gotten EC NiM on farm after the first week after tacts were release. Yes, online guides aren't a guarantee. Nobdy said that. But neither is ops chat. Main difference is, in one case you can learn the basics of the fight in your own time, the second requires someone to type it for you and waste everybody else's time.
  15. If we're talking about boss fights on operations and such, while pugging, is a fair expection that if you havent done that fight before you at least read the tactics. Dont see anything wrong with that. And you don't want to read it on a web page (which already has been made) but you expect someelse to type it all that for you to read ? I just don't get this. Honestly. There are some guilds that specifically ask people to not read tactics from guides, because they like figuring things out while playing, learning the mechanics and making strategies as they go. That's perfectly valid. But we're talking about a guild with a specific goal in mind. When you're pugging, have the decency to read the tacts before you go in there. And seriously, why someone else has to type stuff for you to save yourself from alt-tab ?
