  1. Loosing in recruit against full WH teams is fun, waiting 40 minutes to get into RWZ is double fun.
  2. Yes it is great spec for ball carrying, tanking and defending objective points, but not DPS. OP wants to play full vigilance as dps spec.
  3. I can also add dead zone 4-10 meters. If target is in this dead zone vig guard cannot do anything. Also vigilance relies heavy on force leap and saber throw. If vig cannot start its rotation from saber throw and force leap it sacrifice focus generation and burst damage a lot. It is vegy ugly playstyle even you are considered a melee you have all the time run away from your target to 10+ meters to start your rotation using throw and leap. It is very easy to neutralize vigilance guard, if you are a PT just grapple guard before he leap on you then keep him at 4-10 meters..

    Fix Deception

    I agree, deception is currently one of the most useless specs add to that very low survivability of assassin as a light armor melee.
  5. Gear progression is ok when it is pve progression. PvE folks like that so let them enjoy. For PvP it could be only look and appearence progression, but stat difference is not acceptable. It is like on Olympic games UK runner need to run 60 meters, but Greece runner need to run only 10 meters distance for the same competition because they participated in first Olympics for thousands years but UK only about a hundred.

    Simple fix to PvP

    1. Create one common queue pool for all levels instead of two for 10-49 and 50. 2. Adjust all players stats and abilities in warzones to the same level. Let low level players access to level 50 abilities. 3. Remove gear stats from PvP. No matter what gear you wear green leveling or full WH your stats will be the same. bonus + it would be really nice to have ingame voice server to be able to have voice communication inside a random warzone team:)
  7. Seriously, I haven't finished my WH gear grind and I have to grind it again from the beginning, it is definitely GW2. If they want to keep PvP player base they need to remove all gear stats dependency on PvP. No matter what gear you wear your stats in pvp should be the same, any player in leveling green gear needs to have the same stats as Full AUG WH gear.
  8. Looks really good. I like PvP when you focus on enemy players, it reminds me an alterac valley from wow where you can eliminate enemy players or get all key points. Looks like it will be the best warzone in SWTOR.
  9. It is not about this game only, it is about the whole trend of game development, if we accept grind and gear progression here we will see plenty of new game with these "great futures". We need to let developers know why we are upset. We need real PvP. where players play against players, but not players against levels or players against gear. We need developers of this game and many future games read this and do not make mistakes with creating any kind of gear and stat progression in PvP. Gear and stats progression in PvP = death sentence to the game. It is evident that the majority of PvP players QQ a lot and do not happy with imbalances due to gear and levels. How can you name a real PvP when people fight in one warzone with completely different stats in gear at 50lvl. I cannot even name it PvP, if you look for example at 10-49 lvl PvP where low level player don't have the majority of abilities players at high levels have. We do not need that bias any more. The fail of SWTOR in PvP will be great example to any game developers, and i hope we won't see any gear and stat progression in PvP in future games. Next time any game development company will start designing their new game, they know "These guys from BW fails hard with swtor , cause they created PvP gear and stat progression, all customers gone to GW2. We won't do that we will create a game with real PvP where skill matter like GW2":)
  10. Vanguard tank has very good survivability because people usually ignore them. Roll Vanguard or Powertech spec tank stay away from enemies at 30 m range and no one will attack you, Your dps from that distance will be low but you won't die a lot.
  11. I have tank assassin and engineering sniper, from my subjective point of view sniper live longer. Assasin has shorter range of attacks and have to be in frontline, sniper can stay in max range and no one can pull or charge you until you are in cover. Beleive me, It is very hard to kill eng sniper.
  12. May be you are playing lethality or MM, but switching to engineering give you way better survivability. I play engineer sniper, i have only 5 WH pieces and rest is BM. I do not complain about survivability. Eng sniper has great survivability. I see my eng sniper survivability against ranged attack at the level of tanks, and the 4 best survivability against melee attacks right after 3 tanks. Eng snipers have the lowest death rates in warzones. Let's look. When in cover you have passive mitigation at the level of heavy armor. You have improved shield probe with good absorption. You have self heals, you have a talent to reset CD on shield probe and self heal and use them twice in row. You have ballistic shield. We have 1. Ballistic dumpers - 30% damage reduction 2. Additional passive damage mitigation - 6% 3. Cover - 25% chance to evade ranged attacks 4 evasion - 100% chance to evade all attacks 5. Shield probe - very good damage reduction 6 - ballistic shield - 20% ranged damage mitigation 7 adrenal probe - instant 6% self heal 8 esmp - instant refresh of shield probe and adrenal probe 9 entrench - total immunity to all controlling abilities If I pop all my defencive CD and 1v1 a ranged class like commando i can win with full health, without loosing even 1%. If you complain what snipers doesn't have a survivability than no other classes can offer you more survivability. Tanks has better defences against melee damage and the same against ranged If multiple melee on you you can pop all your defencive CD put two AOE on self , start self healing and see everything dies around you. I think eng sniper is one of the best spec of all classes for pvp currently, only pyro pt is better. It requires a skill and use multiple buttons but if you master it you'll be very valuable asset for the team. usually i win the majority of 1v1 in warzones even against full WH geared opponents. I beat full WH PT easy, they just cannot bypass all my defenses
  13. I can only agree with you. The best abilities operative has is frag grenade and explosive probe. But my sniper also has them and can spec into them. Eng sniper is night and day compared to operative. I come to conclusion DPS operative is just a week version of sniper. I would trade stealth just for removing tactical advantages requirements on cull and stim.
  14. DPS operative is actually crap:) I played all classes. Playing a lethality operative reminds me the play style of my vanguard. It is the same melee - ranged class, Even operative needs to be in melee more than vanguard it has less survivability. Let's compare lehality OP and Assault VG. Survivability Vanguard has heavy armor, but OP has only medium. Vanguard has damage reduction shield which is better than OP absorption shield. Vanguard has instant ammo free self heal, OP has no instant free self heals. Dps specced OP can use only long cast time heals which consumes a lot of energy and requires to self root. Overall VG survivability is better than OP by all comparison points - passive mitigation, defensive cooldowns and self healing. Damage and burst. VG has an easy rotation and can do great short bust from 30 meters and good sustainable dps from 10 meters, getting to 4 meters is not essential. VG has two dots, first dot is easy to land from 30 meters and it deals initial damage and dot on 18 sec. Second dot is automatic and can be put with no CD from 10 meters, or from 30 beters if procced.. VG has spammable 10 meters and proccable 30 meters attacks. OP has two dots, corrosive dart doesn't have initial damage and is weaker than incenedary round. Corrosive granade has 12 sec CD and again is weaker than VG plasma cell dot. OP has no spammable 10 meters attacks and no proccable 30 meters attacks. The only filler between placing dots is weak autoattack. The main damaging ability of OP cull is broken, because it requires some kind of condition to execute, so to be able to execute cull you need to kill a player first or hit target with shiv from 4 meters. Actually lethality operative does not have any descent PvP rotation, it should be at least short or long ranged attacks which you can use rather than using autoattack. VG is a total winner of DPS and burst. Control. Op has 10 meter area mess and 4m stun. VG has 30 meters stun and 4m area stun Again VG has better control. Utility. Op has only one utility is stealth. VG has taunts, grapple and guard. In few words in all cathegories for comparison survivability, damage, burst, control and utility VG is a clear winner. My question is what is the point to design class balance like that?
  15. Damage/healing numbers means a lot for all warzones except hutball.
