I know, I also play exclusively in pvp areas, but that is not "open world pvp" in the sense that there is no purpose in keeping that instance switched on. It would be cool if they created 1 planet where a total war rages and strongholds (not in the sense of housing but in the sense of fortress) have to be conquered and defended in order to unlock other areas or to gain additional faction-based buffs (such as "if you control this fortress your guild or the entire republic enjoys 5% command exp bonus). This would be open world pvp as I consider it. And in Star Wars, which is probably the most polarised good-vs-evil franchise, this should be a must imho

well this game has been on air for many years now, I think technology allows a bit more now than it did 5 years ago...I mean I like arenas, but if i think that soon i will be "ranked" and "ranked arenas" are just 4v4 deathmatches I really wanna cry....

I have been playing this game for a few months now and - as a mainly pvp person - I wonder why bioware does not revamp open-wolrd pvp. I see a lot of potential in creating 1 planet which is fully pvp and in which people should conquer fortresses and can just roam with their group. Maybe a ...Yavin4 planet? =P
