  1. I have played more than a few games. DAOC Final Fantasy 11 WOW AION even a bit of EVE (Shudder) And most of them except FF11 and EVE had the same problem. You CAN NOT balance PVP using the same system as PVE. You either do too much damage, have too much CC, or healers become godlike because they can out last you. Many if not the majority of all the class "Re-balancing" has been a result of PVP issues because the game is also using the same numbers for PVE. If they had totally separated the systems for PVP and PVE then you could have some balance. But that is not the case. Now you have classes that have been over nerfed and as a result they are dropping in popularity in both PVE and PVP. It is true that with exceptional playing and teamwork you can overcome these weaknesses on a case by case basis but other people playing classes that have avoided the big nerfs still can do better and with the same teamwork and exceptional play do better than a class that under performs. I only wish a game could find the happy medium between PVP and PVE game mechanics so they could live together. But that is why it is called a dream and not reality.
  2. Normally I stay off forums as a rule but this thread interested me. First I will say one thing Quest mods will always be easier to get than crafting them. Now as to superiority that I have some concerns with since I can read torhead and the other databases just fine and see equal or better mods at the same lvl as the screenshot above. A few questions. You say that the databases have been combed for Schematics but no one seems to have them yet right? Well its is only a little over a week since the head start launched. Second Reverse engineering is very random, you might get a schematic on the first try or the 50th or 100th. So have you checked the sticky in the Craft skills form describing the different paths of Reverse engineering? It could be you just need to attempt more RE and deal with the RNG of pain. At least you have a mechanic that will eventually provide a result and does return some of the materials used. Try AION manastone socketing or enchanting for real RNG pain. I bled millions in that game attempting stuff that pretty much is mandatory at higher lvls.
