For the past few days i have been playing around with a possible hybrid spec for my operative dps. This is what i have come up with. 3021 dps http://www.torparse.com/a/585789/2/0/Overview Current AMR profile http://swtor.askmrrobot.com/character/a0ca50cd-6c81-4753-8aa5-5f5b01d3cf55 I have found this spec to be quite a bit of fun, with keeping corrosive grenade and corrosive dart up at all times, and using backstab on cooldown, and lacerate as often as possible. Been trying to play with possible filler, and so far have found using orb strike almost on cooldown as filler has worked the best for my parsing.

For a while now i have been wondering why there is no Accuracy power implants for sorc/sin dps whether it be Arkanian, Underworld, Kell Dragon or Dread Forged, this is rather confusing due to the fact that every other mainstat has an accuracy and power implant available to them. Whether this was a bad coding decision, or just a stat mix up, it can be annoying for those of us that want to be able to get accuracy power enhancements, but don't have the ability to because they do not exhist. If we are ever talking about class balance and wanting every class to be on equal grounds, then should there not be the same stat make up available to all classes?

Thanks for the info, i usually do use rifle shot and snipe maybe every 25 seconds with the CD of Cover pulse with the instant snipe ability. Quite often i am just having pure RNG bad luck and thus having the issues with energy management. Every couple days i'll get very few crits thus running out of energy very quickly. I definitely agree that rifle shot is essential to the spec and have been trying to keep it in my rotation, but when i am constantly juggling 10 toons that i am raiding on any given night, sometimes i end up forgetting a thing or two. Thanks again for the words of advice and i can't wait to see the numbers this spec will hit once I am fully augmented.

I have been trying to play around with any and all possible hybrid builds for the sniper/gunslinger. From the testing i have done if you want to run with this idea of the 15 second orb stirke, you would want to run with full MM as sniper volley/burst volley is an absolute must if you are playing MM. I have been playing around for a few days, and yes my overall dps goes up by a fair margin by stacking power but my energy management goes to hell after the 3rd rotation, that's the main reason i like keeping my crit higher for this spec as the crit DoT's regen goes a long way to keep my energy up and never dropping below 50% throughout a long fight. I am going to continue to try to find the sweet spot of crit vs power for this spec. Either way it's a very enjoyable and fun spec to play with so it's a win-win situation in my books.

Have played around with this slightly as i have the EWH 2 pc and the new partisan 2 pc set bonuses, imo it is definitely worth it if you are running full MM as you will have an up time of 33% on your orb strike, with it lasting 15 seconds and having a cool down of 45. The loss in main stat is minimal and almost unnoticed as it is barely a loss of about 30 bonus damage.

I have been running a new 5/18/23 hybrid sniper (http://swtor.askmrrobot.com/skills/sniper#320-20101220003322-21012022211200232) since 2.0 launched, am currently in mostly 69, just missing main hand and implants and running with some old purple skill augments. Currently running at a tech 1180.2 bonus damage with 29.7% crit and 74.72 % surge. As of last night when my guild ran the world boss Lucky on Corellia i was sitting at around 1900 dps. Which was higher than that of better geared full MM snipers that are also in my guild. All in all i have been finding that for my own play style that having a higher crit rating for this hybrid spec has definitely been helping and from playing around with stacking all power or using a fair amount of crit that my numbers have been considerably higher with the crit left in.

Okay this has been bothering me for a while now. Early this morning, 1 am eastern i was playing and everything was fine. I was in the guild i have been in for the past month or so now. I logged off and everything to my knowledge was alright. We had a couple people leave the guild overnight and when i woke up this morning i had a message on our enjin forums from my guild leader saying that my toons were no longer showing up in the Guild roster. To my knowledge, he was the only one with the /gkick privilege and i definitely did not /gquit as i was enjoying being a part of an active raiding guild. I was wondering if anyone else had seen or heard of something like this happening. Any input would be appreciated.

I am currently working on my story this is the basic idea i'll probably write an actual story just for fun. This is the basic story idea i have. I currently have a JK, SI, SW, Trooper, and Smuggler. This is the idea i have for my story. The De'Pace family was one of high nobility in both the Republic and Sith Empire, with the family having split in half with sibling fights. The brother, sister duo fought about an argument over the signing of the Treaty of Corusant. The Brother, Ivan De'Pace married and had three kids, all of which were born force sensitive. Only one of them, the eldest son Speranza was found by the Jedi Order to be trained on Tython. The other two children Violets became a trooper when discovered that she had a very high aptitude for battle tactics and a very good shot with a blaster. As for the youngest child Volonta he rebelled at the age of 16 and stole his fathers ship after an argument about his aunts whereabouts after receiving a message from Drommand Kass from her, contrary to what his father had told him that she had died during the sacking of Coruscant. After arriving on Drummond Kass Volonta was told to meet his aunt in the Kass city cantina but when he arrived he was attacked by a brother sister duo of Sith, who he later found out were his cousins, Violenza (SW) and Barkz (SI) who were sent on the behalf of there mother being told to test Violonta's ability to defend himself. After the battle in which he proved his worth of the family name he and his cousins went to see his aunt. After spending a few days with her, as the other two were working on missions for their respective Masters, She tried to talk him into becoming a Bounty hunter to help her other son (yet to be named BH) to win the Great hunt. Instead of Helping he stole the supply of guns from the many bounty hunters on Drummond kass and went off to Ord Mantell to sell them.

Have you tried opening task manager to see if you are running any programs that could be taking up large portions of RAM on your laptop? I know that on most computers there is a process that windows media player uses for their networking services that can take up to 2GB of memory on most computers. If that is not the case you could also run a command prompt and run msconfig and go to the start up tab and turn off the auto updaters for adobe, java and flash, as that can also help to increase performance on your laptop. If that does not work then i would go looking for a laptop with a 2nd gen i7 processor, 8GB of RAM and either a Nvidia 540m or equal video card. Hope this can help you.
