Come on I would of thought you were slightly more intelligent than that, wows PvP combat is extremely fluid, GCD's are stuck to and you know what your charc is doing at all times, what on earth are you talking about with these 8 spells being dropped on you at once. if thats the case they were spells excluded from the GCD such as Retaliation... How do you think WoW's arena system made it to ESL etc.. dispite your vendetta against them its one of the most successful competitive PvP enviroments ever made in an MMO and its reputation speaks worlds. So please spare me the crap on how their system wasnt fluid, it was very responsive, and it was also very reliable and consistant.

Dispite what you just said, there is still a substantial amount of delay in warzones, yeah the combat system and general feel might be different to something like wow. However for example when I force charge someone and attempt to cast ravage, it completely bugs out and I am left acting out the animation frozen to the spot while neither the CD is used or damage is put out. I think there are 2 different types of problem. one people complaining about the fact that the PvP might not be as a clear and fluid as something like wow, and the second is a genuine issue, with latency, FPS and delay within warzones. But however give it time, I trust that bioware will fix this and polish it up, the game has been released a few days ago for god sake. They have a real chance to have a massive impact on the MMO community with the current fundamentals laid. They wont throw this away.

I have noticed recently that when I cast ravage normally after a force charge it tends to bug and I'm left standing there essentially acting out the animation without actually doing any damage or casting the spell. I have also noticed that this problem is exclusive to warzones, and works perfectly outside of them, is this a known issue with this spell or is it generic to all channeled spells within warzones

Yeah I had guessed, like I said though in theory republic should get instant awesome pops. If that's the case I'm rolling republic. Just want some first hand experiences from someone before I go ahead and do it.

Yeah was just reading that in a post, that empire always seem to play empire and that republic don't get a look in, but I'm more concerned about the wait time for warzones, I'm a pvper not too bothered which faction I roll. Just want to be able to chain those warzones

From hearing things and generally looking around its quite clear that the empire is highly dominant when it comes to percentage ratio, but relating back to wow does this have an effect on the times taken in order to get Into warzones etc. Meaning if I was republic would I be getting instant pops etc. In thoery that's how it should be, does anyone have any experience with this at all ?

I highly suspect that BW will bring out some form of arena in the future, but has anyone seen any official posts confirming their plans to do so ?

Dont really see whats funny mate, like it or not Blizzard produced the most popular game of all time. would of thought BW would make a tad bit more effort to stand up to them, oh no i know, lets " pour our heart and souls " into this game, then forget to buy enough server space. * high five *

The fact is, that bioware completely messed up on estimating the amount of players that would be wanting to play. A mistake that a respectable company like blizzard wouldnt make. I cannot believe how shoddy the early game access aspect was and the state of the servers at the moment. sort it out now, or you are not going to have any players left in a few weeks time. Its not even that its hard to sort, enable free transfers to low pop servers for a limitated amount of time, there you are, sorted everyone is happy. But no lets make it really awkward and fob the people that decided to invest money in us off constantly with hollow pathetic quotes. Good job bioware.
