  1. Join us!!!! Run the new uprisings in Story mode.... even though they're actually veteran mode..... It's OK BW, I'm sure your non-stop screwups are totes normal!!!!
  2. Like most long time players in an active guild, I've been extremely frustrated since the 4.0 NERF of storymode operations. One of the biggest problems with operations right now is that there's too much of a gap difficulty wise between SM and HM (Veteran) ops. For players that have been around forever and are comfortable with mechanics, its not a big deal but due to the difficulty drop across the board, the vast majority of newer players have never really had to understand a rotation or deal with true boss mechanics. It makes it extremely difficult to get those people up to HM ready since most groups dont want to take the time to do it with operations interest level dropping in general. Many guilds dont have enough people interested in the gear grind and practice required for HM but are bored to tears with the current SM difficulty. I know this is a pipe dream, but there is a simple way to fix this: Create a 4th difficulty tier of operations. Leave the current SM Ops tier as is and leave it as the Group Finder operation option. Add back in the ORIGINAL storymode difficulty as anew tier between SM and HM. This is an oversimplification but essentially: SM (Group Finder) - Minimal mechanics. Current SM OPs New Tier - Restores all old mechanics / add in most of the HM mechanics but REMOVE the DPS check. HM - Has the mechanics + the DPS check NiM - Additional mechanics, even harder DPS check. I think this would broaden the appeal of Operations and would help newer players bridge the learning gap between SM and HM ops which in turn could eventually increase interest in HM+ tier operations. Gearing drop wise, I'd leave the new tier and SM both at entry level SB drops (230 currently) I dont think there's a need to add more complexity to gearing with another gearing level.

  4. The problem with your theory is that even if they are actually decent difficulty wise, by doing them 1 month at a time, the whiners will cry until they nerf every single one of them so by the time we get to do the entire operation in one sitting it'll be Eternity Vault.
  5. Give us back the old operations loot drop model for those of us in raiding guilds that want to raid every day and get something of value from it. You can keep GC, keep the unassembled parts for PVP, command tokens, RNG for CXP crates, etc... but please please bring back 2 items / boss for 8 man and 4 for 16 and make it a static unassembled gear piece per boss. You can even keep the requirement to spend tokens along with the unassembled item but at least give us a drop per boss. SWTOR is an MMO, some of us still want to play it as one.
  6. In Chapter 10, Koth took a hike. In this chapter, he has random conversation comments during the last area. So much for conversations mattering. How does someone talk that's gone....
  7. How many in your group? There was a bug (no clue if it was fixed) that if you 4 manned it, the door leaving either the first or second console room would never open after you burned the adds and console.
  8. My guild has tried this multiple times. Not once have we ever broken his channel since 4.0 in 16. In 8, no problem. Once his channel ends he starts one shotting people. You're the first person I've heard say they beat him SM 16m
  9. Still bugged post 11/17 patch. Bioware, can we get an ETA on this one? Seriously... this is an operations boss, how can it still be broken?
  10. Known bug. Bio won't acknowledge it, nor give an ETA for fixing it. No known workaround other than dont use your flagship.
  11. Not sure I agree w/ that.. I ran every H2 from Korriban through at least Tat doing the Star Fortress stuff and had no issues within a week of 4.0. Hitting some again now and so many are broken. If it wasnt Rak, it's something between 4.0 and now.
  12. First access to guild ships were wrecked, now doing my weekly heroics... have already opened 2 bug reports on the first 3 H2s I've run. Armed and Dangerous - kill the lord, dont get credit to end the quest Friends of old - I have 4 thermal detonators in inventory for kills already and it still shows 2/3 for the recover.
  13. I'm the GM of an Imp guild and we purge inactive toons at 90 days to keep us under the 500 toon cap. Anyone booted for inactivity is always welcome back, so it's never seemed to have caused drama. I get a whisper or two a month from people that were kicked for inactivity and as long as they're still listed on our website, we let them right back in without having to reapply.
  14. not just flagships.... I instanced on Odessen and cant go anywhere. No fleet, no SH, no flagship. Game then crashes back to loading screen pretty quickly.
