While I'm in agreement with about 90% of the previous posters reasons for playing DS. Let me add a few more. First... DS has the best looking ships!!!! I'm all about a P.H.A.T (Pretty, Hot, and Tempting) ride. I'll take the SWEET looking Fury, Mantis and OMG the Phantom over the SAD looking Defender, XS Freighter and Thunderclap any day. Second....Jedi work with / for the PUBs whose politics can be just as shady as the IMPs. The way they treat the Twi'leks on Coruscant is jacked up. At least the IMP's worked to save Makeb. The PUB's and Jedi were like "You better get in where you fit in cause WE ARE LEAVING". Third....and most important. I totally agree with Kevin Smith in the movie (CLASSIC) Clerks. Check it out Nuff Said.

So...I've thoroughly cleaned all the dust from my NIVIDIA GTX 650 Ti video card (Owen), and installed the newest latest drivers. Then I reinstalled the game with out streaming, TWICE! And still when I try to run the game with the Shader Complexity set to anything other then "very low" it causes the card to run at max load which leads to max heat which leads to black screen and then crash which leads to SUFFERING which leads to FRUSTRATION which leads to ANGER which leads to .......well my journey towards the dark side was already complete. BUT GEEZ-O-PETE! As a sub from day one I'm way to invested in this game to be pushed over the edge and unsub because no one from BW will acknowledge this problem and let us know they are working on a solution.

Well on the "very low" shade setting my CPU is running 53c - 62c and my GPU is running 90c - 94c . on the "Low" shade setting my CPU is running 57c - 66c and my GPU is running 100c - 101c. So yeah, your right about the temps, but the question is why? I think it has something to do with BW tweeks to shading graphics since I'v never had these temp issues pre 5.0 install.

Having same problem. Game will work for 5-15 min then go black screen but you can still hear game in background for a few min then my computer reboots. I've updated all video drivers...tried to run game on lowest settings and still no joy.
