  1. Honestly the General at the end of Black Talon is my favourite bit of voice acting next to the scene at the end of the Sith Warrior storyline (won't spoil it with who but you'll know if you've done it). I skip all of the dialogue in the FP's simply because I've seen them too often, but the General at the end of Black Talon? I love the voice acting there and irritate all my friends by refusing to skip it
  2. I will do, but since no one else seems to have experienced it I can't be 100% certain it isn't my fault (though I am 99%), so I'll keep an eye out for it. Right clicking on the name in chat and choosing whisper works without any complications.
  3. Apparently not, guess I'll have to fire up fraps the next time I'm having several conversations via tell just to prove to myself I'm not insane.
  4. Anyone else notice the chat reply system malfunctions every now and then, that's the third time I've hit /r it's printed the correct name and sent it to someone else who had sent me a tell at some point. It's extremely frustrating.
  5. Why the hell didn't I google this previously. Re'd about 300 level 13 and level 17 vibroknives with no result, how about Bioware actually helps it's players out a little, drops that cannot be RE'd actually come up with "No Reverse Engineering information available" or words to that effect, would be nice if they could be bothered to do the same for the craftables they couldn't be bothered putting in higher quality recipes for. People might think I'd have realised way before 300, but I have about 9 level 49 purple chest schematics on my Synthweaving main and some of those took hundreds of RE's.
  6. Can someone who has a clue please start prioritising these bugs? Defend the Shipment has been bugged since launch and now Sabotage is doing a similar thing, as I type this all of the Mining equipment objects have failed to respawn, it has gotten progressively worse since launch. Get to work on the things that almost your entire level 50 playerbase experiences on a daily basis.
  7. Came across this yesterday and just about managed to do it. Today same as the OP, as soon as it clones the Bounty Hunter in our group the cloning system goes haywire and spits out clones of each character constantly, first it was 1x BH and 3x Sith Warriors immediately at the first clone stage. Wiped first time, second time managed to down the boss but were overwhelmed by the cc immune clone army. See screenshot... http://i481.photobucket.com/albums/rr173/pudsley/Directive7InterrogatorClonebug.jpg
  8. It's not the major bugs that bother me, it's the little things. Off the top of my head I can name... Defend the Shipment Daily Ilum quest that works after maintenance but is either partially bugged or completely bugged as the week goes on (whether or not today's patch fixed it remains to be seen as it takes time to bug out). No /roll command, in a game with forced Master Looter in Hard Mode operations which bright spark forgot to add such a simple feature and why 6 weeks out has it not been added yet? There simply is no excuse for this one at all. There's a plethora of other tiny bugs but they'll get addressed in turn, minor bugs aside the UI was designed by someone who doesn't play MMO's very often, it's popular opinion that it's utter trash, luckily it can be rectified with a lot of work which I don't expect any time soon. The number of UI bugs is astounding and the GTN whilst better than nothing is terrible considering it's 2012 and the design? It's hard not to burst out laughing when you see a RESET button positioned directly beneath a SEARCH button, absolute worst place to put it, that's a no brainer. The major stuff can take a long time to iron out, but the little things should be relatively quick to fix, unfortunately they've been shelved whilst they work on other things. It's incredibly frustrating to see hundreds of minor bugs that Bioware know about but have failed to address yet.
  9. Short update on this, waiting didnt seem to work for us, we instead just deactivated them sequentially. Starting the moment they became available and destroying them one after another in a clockwise rotation. For those without voice comms just destroy your lock and then run to the next person in a clockwise rotation, they should destroy theirs the moment you run to them. It seems that if more than one is activated at the same time it's possible that one of them may not register, with the control panel being destroyed at that point it's a wipe if you can't heal through it.
  10. We managed to bug HK-47 out twice in a row on Hard Mode today. Had no problems previously, this time we were going for a speed run through the place and it seems we were just too efficient, we all hit the locks at exactly the same time and both times the capsule stayed closed until he entered slaughter mode and enraged, all the locks were destroyed (double checked the second time through). Nice when being too efficient penalises you, we'll have to give it a go and slack a little when destroying the locks.
  11. I'm not hard against the enrage timers, they have made it fun to try and beat the fights, but I do agree with the above comment completely. Our guild is blessed (or cursed) with an over abundance of tanks, with no dual spec system in the game and these quite strict enrage timers excess tanks and healers are worthless and are often having to be left outside in favour of DPS'ers outside the guild. It is poor design in that most others games allow you to take longer but the trade off for being able to take longer is that the whole raid has to keep their concentration for longer. Essentially you want to adjust the fights so that the enrage timer is more relaxed but the margin for error on the tactics is narrower, so taking longer means you have to work harder and the chances of someone making a mistake is that much higher. Highly skilled, well geared and perfect composition raid forces are still rewarded in that they can speed kill these bosses, that in itself is an achievement (been there and done that and loved it when I was younger).
  12. I have a Razer Naga Epic and I do not use macros. I use ALL 17 buttons which was kind of the point of buying the mouse, seems a little odd to buy a mouse with all those buttons and then set up macros so you don;t need to use them. I use every single one of my abilities Macros can and do work, but it's streamlining that takes away control. As a Juggernaut tank if I used macros for more than say couple of abilities I can tell you now I'd be under performing, but again, I bought this mouse so I wouldn't have to macro everything.
  13. Honestly, Bioware pull your finger out of your rears and implement a feature that the entire MMO world has EXCEPT you, a feature that any high school student could create in about five minutes. Fair enough you forgot it, I accept that but why haven't you put it in several patches later? Delay whatever your devs are working on by one single hour (being generous so they can quadruple check it) and get them to put this in for the love of the Emperor. It's hard to take you seriously when coming up on two months after launch your raid community still can't assign loot in Hard Mode raiding without a third party tool.
  14. I'l reserve final judgement until I see the transcripts if any actually surface, the last summit was less about giving information to the community and more about being worshipped by a select few. If they cover some of the topics I'm most interested in then I'll change my mind about this but I'm still hovering over the "complete waste of time" camp atm. On my list is the lackluster raiding (cleared both raid dungeons in just over a week with the most casual, under geared and laid back raid force I've every been a part of (relaxed and laid back was the point but those raid dungeons were pathetic and to clear both with level 50 starter gear was a joke). A new tier raid dungeon with a minimum gear level that requires a raid group to have geared up from previous raid dungeons is a must.
  15. Have to agree, this reminds me of the fan site summit they held whereby they invited a select few and it had almost zero benefit to the vast majority of players. Sure, go ahead and hold these events, but it's far too early and you have far too much to do, if you don't know what you should be doing by now you just aren't paying attention.
