  1. I'm sorry if this has been asked before or if the answers are somehow obvious. I have an unused DS-guild that has a stronghold with lots of rare sith decorations and stuff. I've searched the forums, terms & conditions and stuff but couldn't find anything about this. First of all, is it ok to sell a guild? It's not in violation with any rules? Second of all, how would you go about doing this? Advertise in general chat? When a buyer is found, then what? Invite to guild, then ask for a transfer of credits, and then promote to leader and leave the guild, or what? What do you think would be the acceptable way for a buyer as well as a safe way for the seller (me) so that no one gets ripped off?
  2. So, almost 9:30 in Texas. They need to update us on progress soon. I'd like to know if I can play at all tonight or not. I'm slightly dissapointed, but not upset about the delay. Those things happen, but when they do happen, communication is key IMO.
  3. Thank you both very much for the replies. They where very helpful. So the outer rim pack hasn't acctually been released? I could have swore I saw it in store before, but i must have mixed it up. Been looking a lot on tor-decorating lately, and since only the wild space pack lacks details there and on other sites I assumed that was the only one yet to be released. Guess it's going to be quite a long wait for that then if the outer rim pack is released next week.
  4. Sorry if this is in the wrong place (doesn't seem like there's a section for Cartel Market-discussions which is a bit weird IMO), or has been brought up before. I have a few thoughts and questions regarding the cartel market packs. Is there any way of knowing when they become available, and when they are going to get pulled from the market? Two times in a very short time spann I've seemed to miss out on packs I was planning to buy. The first time was with the heavily discounted apprentice shadow packs. Because swtor.com was down for at least a day, I couldn't top off my CC-wallet. By the time I had, the pack had been pulled from the market. I get that, it had been out a long time, was just unfortunate timing for me with the website downtime which prevented me from getting it. Now again today I had been planning to get some Outer Rim Explorer packs, maybe a hypercrate, instead. And when I logg in it's not there. That hadn't been out long right? It's part of the last shipment, and if I'm not completely mistaken it's also the latest pack of the last shipment to get released. Will it come back or is it likely gone forever? Also, is there any way of knowing when the wild space explorer packs will roll out? In short, it seems to me like a lottery with the cartel packs. Some stay in the store for a very long time. Some get huge discounts before being pulled. Some just seem to get pulled pretty soon after they're released, without any discounts. Is there any way of knowing when and how stuff will change so you don't wait for discounts that don't happen and end up missing out completely instead, or alternatively that you end up spending twice the amount of CC you would have to spend just a few days later?
  5. To me it doesn't seem to make sense just to have duplicates of the class ships that we can decorate. The class ships are not owned by the character in most of the storylines, they're property of the jedi order, imperial intelligence, sith, etc. To then have a stronghold type class ship which is your class ship, but not really since you can't use it as your ship in the class storyline, and you can decorate it while your real class ship stays the same just seems weird. I would much rather have the opportunity to buy bigger capital ships as strongholds. Like individual flagships (rather than guild flagships). There are plenty of possible ships that are between the size of harrowers and sith interceptors that could be used. Ideally there should be a range of options from the size class just above the class ships up to harrowers and the corresponding republic ships. I'm sure some guilds would be grinding their teeth if harrowers and other large capital ships became available to purchase for individual characters, but all other strongholds are available for both individual purchase and guild purchase (the latter being a lot more expensive), but lots of guilds still find it worthwile to own planetary strongholds. For a guy like me who prefers solo play and immersing myself in the storyline it would be awesome to be able to buy larger ships as strongholds.
  6. Greetings, Fire's of Carnage is an Imperial guild set on casual RP-PvP-PvE. We have around 100 members at this point, but a lot of inactivity. I am firmly set on rebuilding it to a functioning guild with active members. First of all, a message to old members, and I have posted this as a MOTD ingame as well but I'm guessing it won't reach everyone judging by the amount of inactivity I see: I will start to kick inactives in the beginning of september. Send me a message if you wish to stay and participate in the rebirth of this guild. I have a great need for officers to help me out in this restructuring. Also if any of the founding members are still here and are reading this, drop me a line. I have some small things to discuss with you. Second of all the matter of recruiting: We are accepting members of all levels and Imp. classes at this point in time. The guild will have to grow back in shape organically, and you can grow with us if you're a lower ranked player looking for a guild. Experienced players are naturally very welcome as well. There are lots of positions open if you're ready to commit some time, or if you'd just like to get on board and help out our growing base of active players, find people to share in PvP or PvE content, etc. we'll welcome you. We are a casual guild as stated earlier, so there are no demanding commitments unless you take it upon yourself. My aim for this guild is to once again build up a solid base of players from all levels who'll play together to advance and have fun. Sound like something for you? Drop me a line.   7. There's a puzzle in the main hall that you can solve to get T7 some nice gear. And what do you mean that you're on a timer? You can fight him as long as any other boss, until yours or his HP runs out. Sure if you fail to interrupt his "nuke" you die, but at lv50-ish JK anyone should have learned interrupts. And the clones don't have to be killed, they are best ignored IMO.
  8. Yes! I did it. Solo. Lv. 48, no particular spec Guardian. I've mostly levelled the Vigilance skill tree, adaptive gear with Lv47 mods. I solved the puzzle to get T7's upgrades (he hadn't been upgraded since around Lv. 20). Can't say it was too easy because I had to try maybe 6-8 times. The last couple of times i followed the advice here on interrupts but the first time I failed to interrupt his nuke and died. The funny thing is that the time I acctually got him was sort of a middle, tryout time because my Heroic Moment was on Cooldown, I had stims but didn't use any. Just Force Might, a Medpack, Focused Defence and Enure. Don't think I even used the Saber Ward. The key really is to ignore the clones and stay with the Emperor. Interrupt everything you see with a long casting time, Force leap to him whenever he moves away, Awe as soon as it becomes available, kick, stasis, force push. And beat him up in between. Wheb the emperor fell I had so little HP left the clones killed me, but the emperor was still down after I had revived with the Medical Probe. So happy right now. Thanks for the advice everyone. This really isn't impossible, even solo and as a Guardian, if you do it right.
  9. This could definetely use some tweaking. A few more cutscenes/conversation missions here and there after chapter 3 has ended, even just changing the replies you get when you click that character. It feels a bit depressing that her reply phrases are the same throughout the game, same the first day you meet her as after you're happily in love. It would feel a lot more alive if the idle conversation changed a bit throughout the story to reflect your progressing relationship. This would of course require them to get the voice actors to a studio and record new stuff when they didn't think of making it like this from the beginning.
  10. Thanks a lot for the reply. I figured stuff would happen after the last mission. But since Xakthul wrote that you at least have to finish the second chapter before they marry and stuff, and I'm at the end of the third chapter and it still hasn't happened, I was a bit worried I had missed some and my knight won't get lucky before this story is over. We've talked about marriage but it hasn't happened yet. Oh well, I'll see after the last quest. Btw: is there a possibility to continue the Kira story after chapter 3, since the storyline has been extended to a chapter 4? Or is the Kira story tied to the original story only?
  11. Are you guys sure you can't "miss" these conversations with Kira? I've completed Corellia and my active class mission now is Doomsday which I believe should be the last, or one of the last ones. Haven't started it yet though, so no spoilers I have 10000 affection with Kira and I have successfully romanced her, and I'm pretty sure I've done most everything right. However, we haven't gotten married or started talking about kids. Could it be that I have mostly had Doc with me for the big bosses at the end of the class quests? I've noticed that most of the Kira romance conversations have happened after you complete major class quests with her.
  12. Bump, I agree completely. I just got the Eradicator's gear for my new Sith Sorcerer and it looks awesome, but it feels very wrong without some form of voice modulation. I hadn't thought of it before, but as soon as I started a conversation with the mask on I realised how silly it feels. I had pictured this ultimate evil guy but it fails miserably with the regular Inquisitors voice. I really hope they will fix this soon. I'm hoping for something like Bane's voice from the latest Batman movie. Btw: Is there any way of telling which headgear does feathure voice modulation? Is there a list somewhere? Because in that case I might go to the Galactic Market for something new.
