  1. Well yea I do agree so far MMO system is not getting alot of traction like how World of Warcraft did so alot of people are going from game to game. The Development team did a good job on the MMO game even though theirs bugs and some other bump on the road but if the game has to end eventually I am sure they will come up with a new Star Wars Old Republic RPG game They have good story in them so if they game dose dye I will look forward to their next Star Wars RPG game from Bioware

Hello Ben and thanks for posting this one forum glad to have one of the leading teams on contacting us on whats going on for the future in the game but I am posting here is their are more bug in the game than you see in the chapters I have played this game on and off for since the game first launched so far the game is great it had a pretty big rocky times when the Hutt cartel expansion released and it was a good start but alot of the players didn't like how the expansion played out mostly because of lack of content and challenging missions, Flashpoints, and of course Operations. Well I am getting ahead of my self anyways I can't really name which bugs that are present but their is a list of bugs still exist in the game even bugs that weren't fixed back when the game was first launched If its due to the lack of bug reports from players I would suggest to have your team since they are players go through the whole content old and new and check for any bugs exist by doing this will help make this game become more enjoyable no one likes a buggy game So far your team is on the right track on making this game better just listen to the players on what that want in the game and put it into a count Please:D Their are a number of things I like to see addressed in the game mostly the space environment when are you guys gonna make some changes to the remaining old cut scenes when the starship flies into a planet? Also the playstyle of the space missions alot of us player have lost interest in the space missions not only the lack of content mostly but also the way you fly your ship We all want a ship that we have full control since this is an RPG environment . Not only that I would like to see more space involved story missions to were ya fight against fighters, and other ships that stands in the way before ya land onto the planet and begin the next leg of the storyline I my self will make the game more exciting and challenging. But has to be free movement no roller-coaster type of flying to were we can only move so much of the ship ok. So far just keep up with the new content make sure we can still use our crew skills for stuff we need to play harder mode content. and yes keep up making challenging content we all strive that and also can ya make the missions that we level on or daily missions etc more challenging like add more challenge when a character have a higher gear rating so that way when you do missions with a high end gear ya won't blow through the missions with out breaking a sweat. Ok wanted to post some suggestions for your team keep it up.
  3. I two liked the Pyro really fun to play but the nerfs and the bugs it got I am not happy forcing me to go to the other dps spec to get better damage and dps. I really hope that the Dev team is looking at this thread so they now the Pyro is broken.

I agree It was nice to have the category packs but sad they were removed again I really hope to hear biowares input on whats going on with those packs and are they honoring the players requests to make the armor sets, weapons, Stronghold Decorations to be purchasable? I do agree we do want all the old Cartel Armor sets back and to be purchasable Like some of the armor sets currently seen on the cartel market but more reasonable prices by the armor set value. Same with the weapons, and Stronghold Decorations. As For the new packs that bioware releases having a random drop rate its not right I have read that alot of people spent 100's of dollars of real money to get an item or armor set they want either they finally get it or never will get it. I would suggest instead have the pack go by bronze silver and gold value and have all the items in that value that pack that way those people will have the item they want and the rest well they will sell on the GTN for the other people who want those items. By doing this way will save alot of money than getting random items from that pack. I just hope that bioware will make the right decision.
  5. Hello guys I am disappointed they removed the Category Packs so far I havn't seen them back I just hope they fix them so it will be easier to get things like armor and decorations much easier. I have read some of the posts here and I do agree if theirs a certain armor set that you want ya should go and buy it not buying and buying and buying a category pack and hope for an armor or the armor set box to drop. I propose to have the Old CC Armor Sets on the armor section of the CC panel so that way you can buy the armor that you want then waiting for the armor set or armor to be found on the GTN which usually start on high credit costs. For the armor sets I would recommend a resonable CC cost depending on the Armor level. Bronze armor will yield the cheapest price, Silver armor, be a bit higher, and the Gold will be pretty expensive but not tooo expensive. Same should go for the weapons, Stronghold Decorations, Color Crystals, Dyes, and Mounts. But I am really not worried about that to me just bring back the Category Pack for the rest of the items but better so the items can be dropped evenly on Bronze for bronze, silver, and gold items so that way you don't get to much of the same item when you use the Packs. Its just my thought. I just hope we do either get those Category Packs back or the old packs to continue on getting the items we wanted. I just hope they have fixxed the Category Packs if they do bring them back.

I do agree with Reiles_Cole on the starting thread when it comes to upgrading your lightsaber reconstructing the Jedi and Sith starting story to were when you not only get your own crystal then build your lightsaber. But the lightsaber that you first construct based by the advanced class you have role and then build the design of your lightsaber after its built that lightsaber is your permanent and only weapon available but if you choose to use a different weapon light a blade etc then you can get those. So I am thinking instead of providing a whole new weapon you just have have the same weapon but if you don't like the skin you can change the skin. when leveling you should only get like a weapon upgrade box that will have the barrel or saber hilt, mod, enhancement, and crystal. the same with the offhand if you only using a shield or a focus same item but upgrades for it. This is just a thought anyways. But theirs another thing I like to bring up if you guys like the same idea since the launch of the new expansion showing you actually playing through the whole story like it was on the old games the bioware made. Bioware steered away that kind of storyline when they made this mmo I like how this storyline worked on the new expansion and I was wondering if Bioware can do that for the rest of the game Rework the old content story to make the old story flow like how the new expansion story flowed. It would make the game fun. As for the other stuff like going to pvp and doing the space missions you still can when leveling. So for the space missions just use the same terminal same with pvp when queuing up for pvp the story will just be put on hold till your ready. One other thing their isn't any space missions with the story that would make the game more fun have some combinations of space battles when either landing to your destination planet or leaving the planet, etc, etc. But Please Please have the ship free movement like the starfighters. So that way the ships that we have will be more useful than just doing those side missions which are boring because they running through a roller-coaster and not free movement which those space mission would be more enjoyable. What do you players think?
  7. Oh this is gonna be sad gonna miss some of my companions That I mostly use. So from what I have read you can get them back in the KOTFE then I have to make sure I don't kill those companions I liked and kill off the other ones. So I just Hope I can get back: Kira Carsen and T7-01 on the Jedi Knight, Elara Dorne and Yuun for Trooper, Nadia Grell and Felix Iresso, Bowdar and Risha, for Smuggler, and then for Sith warrior and Inquisitor I hope to get back Ashara, Andronikos, Vette, and Jaesa Willsaam. I just I get back those companions even though I will get a new smuggler companion after being a Subscriber since Aug.
  8. Well theirs just atleast Ideas I would like to give bioware I know they would either take some or none at all. But yea they are talking about the next MMO not sure why your not having high hopes for it who knows their next mmo maybe better than this one or of course be more worse who know I just hope it will be better. I do say last time I played the game alot of people left after a while saying the MMO was crap even a friend of mine says it despite its Star Wars to him he said it was missing and messed up alot of areas. One thing not enough places to explore thats what he told me but him and I agreed that the space missions was like a roller-coaster ride no free movement like the star-fighters they added. That is one thing I hated about the mmo. Lastly the pvp unbalance issue were some classes had a real high advantage after a patch update. Not only that unfair battles against players that are fully pvp geared and against players that are partially geared or not geared equaling the players with full pvp gear wins automatically and most of the pvp runs I have ran when trying to get gear seeing teams loosing almost 100% of the time that I run. Really Annoying don't worry I am not one of the bad pvpers not good either been trying to help to win even when I don't have good gear. Well anyways thats all I can think of some of the bad parts are from my friend which I do relay but the thoughts aren't mine. After a while I gotten bored and left for a while.
  9. Hello bioware team and players sorry if this idea has been said but bear with me if the idea was posted but more in detail go ahead and add a quote to the other people that had the same idea. I head that bioware is planning to build a totally new Star Wars MMO not sure how they gonna do it. I just hope their still be Jedi and Sith classes if ya still gonna do a class system. Also I heard bioware has a person on the team that was once helped develop SWG so my idea is this have what bioware style that made the Old Republic games great but mix it with SWG to make the new mmo better including exploration for both space and land that is one of the core MMO should be. Storyline Bioware dose good on the story-line some bad some good some are awesome I havn't not sure how the next expansion will be but if the expansion turns out to be great even the story then bioware is on the right direction and I will say keep it up . Their conversation system is really good but they can do better. I would suggest to have more life like conversations from both animation and the conversation it self and when you decide on what answer to make either their informal, insulting, careing, being nice, etc. The conversation on the current mmo was somewhat real but still artificial. Need to have more not sure what to call it but its something like when you talk to someone and you offend someone giving you info but the person will carry on but will be more aggressive or add some attitude or maybe some profanity depending on how much you offend the person you are talking to and the more you offend the peron the more he or she will be offending you. Same with being nice or caring to the person. When your done and completed your mission and start taking to the person again he or she should remember the insults or kindness ya gave to the person during your conversation and will carry on being mean or nice or neutral when turing in your mission. Also when ya meet the person again should still remember how you treated the person on the previous conversations just like a real person dose when he or she is giving you another mission. During the conversation give it more fluid options from more negativity or more positive depending on the characters personality that you create. Will make it more fun to the conversations. World For the MMO environment the current mmo didn't have enough map for exploration or have the map complete. The ones that arn't complete left gaps of the map that people would want to explore. For the rest of the map are to small I would suggest bigger maps like maybe enough of the map to cover half or the whole planet making lot of places to explore to compensate on how big the maps are make the vehicles that we use move faster much faster like your really riding a speeder and other vehicles that suppose to be fast. By doing this will compensate on how long it will take to get one point to another when doing a mission. As for the rest of the map theirs a lot of things ya can do from exploring the whole map rewards, jumping puzzles, climbing a mountain and a cool reward, survive the Forest thicket while on your vehicle, etc etc just use your imagination. Also have the planets to transition from day to night and night to day baste by the planets time it takes from transition day and night. Also ad some weather features like at a certain time add forecast then rain later or not then go to clear skies and add some wind effects when going into forecast and maybe with wind and rain depending. For other planets that don't have water like tatooine add some dust storms either light or severe. Or a valcanic planet maybe add some fireballs falling to the ground during an eruption or something similar. In space its fine to have the hyperdrive routes but when your reaching to the system have it being a free movement flyable ship but maybe have it a pvp active environment so maybe a player can engage another player incombat but if a player dose not wish to fight with a player then have an option to leave the combat area or disengage option.so you won't have any angry players trying to do their missions. Now that you have free movement with your ship and can fly around before you land on the planet theirs alot of things you can do and even have some space missions before you land at your destination planet. From helping an ally that is being engaged by an enemy or enemy fleet, Or on your way to your planet an you get attacked by and enemy, etc. In the films theirs lots of space combat from getting to your planet or leaving. By adding some space missions or even have space missions with your main story will make the game more fun. ALso have of course have some of the missions dailies that way ya not limited to ground dailies. After the space action you will continue to your planet and have the option button to land when you get close enough to the planet and thats it for space till you take off. But one other thing have some missions while still in the planets atmosphere from either trying to escape from a hostile location or having were the mission baste enemies attacking you keeping you from leaving the planets atmosphere etc, etc just use your imagination. Also one thing add something more cool to buy more ships than the one your currently given like your a Trooper and you fly a small ship but you gain levels and getting bigger with your character you can opt to get a nicer ship or even get a large ship like a cruiser or destroyer. its just an idea. Stonghold The stronghold ya started were great so I say keep doing those but when ya get a new stronghold please don't make them to expensive and have more decorations that you mostly work for like the ones now even craft some decorations or just continue using the prefab idea either way. But have the Stronghold to have more options so far ya got the Cargoholds, the GTN, mailbox, and the character recustomization. we could do more with our Decorated stronghold like running to your ship and take off from your stronghold or interact with the people you have in your stronghold other than your companions like social conversations short or long, the ability to control your stronghold light levels making the place dark or bright. UI and action bars. I have played other mmos for a time and some plays better than the other system were ya get a clutter of abilities or consumables. Instead I propose to have atleast one action bar yes one action bar that has the characters offense, defense, healing, and a consumable or 2 and have one spot for easy access to your vehicle mounts. a game called Guild Wars and Diablo has that and you can still do alot of things with just one action bar. This If your do a healing role then the abilities will set to healing so you will have more healing abilities than normal and some attack abilities if your soloing. Keep the UI to were ya can make your own custom UI and maybe add some different UI looks base by the players taste. The Characters Ok now with the new mmo we need more character creation features to make the characters more unique like adding facial modifications from modifying the eyes, nose, cheeks, mouth, chin, etc. Same with body modification, body build from skinny to fat, chest, arms, hands, legs, feet. for female characters add breast modifications from making the breast small to big or maybe making the breasts firm or sagging. Also maybe adding aging features making your character look older or younger. Lastly add the characters Height feature to make the character tall or short or dwarf size then the usual stuff skin color hair styles and hair color, jewelry, tattoos, eye color etc. Its alot but it will decently making each character unique from another character. Lately I am seeing mmos to were you can transition or have a multi class that would be cool to add here. Like a jedi trained character that will have some smuggler traits or trooper traits or visa versa giving the character to have other abilities than have one set of abilities on one class. A main class and off class will work for the star wars mmo environment. but still have the role choices for the class like main Jedi consular healer, off trooper dps or trooper healer, Or have Jedi Consular dps and Trooper healer, or both dps. That way if your character is a jedi it won't be limited to jedi only abilites. PLus will make the game more fun to play. I am happy to see that you can now set your wardobes so that way you don't have to change them out and spend alot of credits. Almost everyone like to have their characters to have a certain wardrobe look. So I hope that will be on the next mmo including the dyes PVP Alot of people love to play pvp but no one loves to play an unbalanced pvp. So to keep the pvp balanced I would propose to have the players ability setup different than the pve ones so that way if something needs to be modified in pvp like buffed or nerfed the pve side or pvp side won't be affected and create an imbalance issue. Also have a role requirement like each team will have 1 or 2 or 3 healers base on how many players per team that way each team will have an even amount of healers if they are skilled or not. Have a certain amount of tanks or support character to keep the opposing players at bay from holding a player down or keeping them from getting their goal while the dps hammers the player down till dead. it may take little longer to get the pvp queue but it will make the pvp runs more pleasurable. Lastly I have been seeing this problem alot. its good to have the players to have a certain amount of stats for each level range when doing pvp while leveling but the one issue isn't resolved is when your on max level its really rough to rough for new pvpers. Thats were a player has little or a starter pvp gear against a player that has higher pvp gear or even maxed out pvp gear. So their the maxed out or higher geard pvp will win 80 to 100% of the time making no fun and alot of frustration and then eventually stop playing pvp all together. So whats needed is gear level range so when you start playing pvp after you pve leveling and got your starter pvp gear everyone will be at the same pvp gear level and when you get better pvp gear then you will enter a pvp run with players that have close to same gear level you currently have till you maxed out on your pvp gear and you will play with players that have the same level of gear you have. Hope I explained it good enough with out confusion sorry if this confusing to read. MISC I like the new feature of doing Flashpoints sololy for the regular storyline if you can't get other players to run with you and having the Flashpoint to be part of the story If the other players like this also then hope to see that on the new mmo as well. So far bioware you doing good to improve the current MMO its what makes me want to come back and play the game again and hopefully keep on playing. Thats it for the ideas I have that would do good or great for the next Star Wars MMO and I hope the next MMO will be more fun to play and get hooked for a long time to were it will complete with the good MMO games out their including World of Warcraft that is still going on strong but not as strong as it used to be.

Hello pretty new the the Sorcerer I played my Sorcerer 2 years ago and decided to come back I am glad to see that theirs still alot of people that are playing the game keeping the mmo alive at least enough that bioware is trying to improve the game and add more content. Well anyways I am asking is that since the changes I am stuck on finding the companion I should use as a default companion and a backup companion. So I do need some help if the companions all work find and doesn't matter which is best then I will go with my original plan by using my force users since in story they are my apprentices. Secondly I want to stick with my Lighting spec but need help to get my characters lightning spec to be on getting its highest dps well not the top dps since gear is needed. So I need to know the rotation I should be using, gear stats I need to focus on, and Proficiencies I am totally new to that system used to the old system so need help their on what I need to put in to top my dps once I get the right stats
  11. Hello bioware I started to play the game again to see the changes ya made. But theirs still some things that still needs fixing and some additions of course One thing I like to see fixed is PvP me a and a friend of mine likes to play pvp but my friend plays pvp more than I do but we both seeing imbalances 2 years ago and still no balance change since then. I like to see that fixed making each class balance with one another so that way no Class will have no unfair advantage against the other Classes. For example when I played 2 years ago the Inquisitor had a buff on their abilities but to much buff for the pvp side a lot of people were rolling the Inquisitor Sorcerer and killing a lot of player pretty easily making the Class unfair advantage then another Patch the next class had an unfair advantage in pvp and a lot of players rolled that class. So we need to have more balance to the pvp environment not only that have a Role requirement like having the required number of healing classes for example if theirs 15 people warzone then we need minimum of 3 healers and maximum of 4 healers per faction I know tanks aren't needed but at-least we need healers to keep the players alive if they done their job. Stuff like that to keep PvP balanced on any Level including the stats setup at a certain level range. Thats one of the reasons why a lot of people left the game is due to PvP imbalances and maybe content also. Next is add more exploration a lot of people likes exploration as-well as storyline So we need more of that space and land I have seen areas of the map that are blanked out that area will be useful for exploration purposes including adding 10% more of the map of each planet to explore even some cities to see that aren't part of the story like in Tatooine I would like to visit Moss Isely spaceport and Larse Moisture Farm. On Hoth like to visit the location were Echo Base would be built. As for Space we would like a free movement ship yes Free Movement my idea would be hyperspace to the target system were lets say Belsavis is at and when ya sit on the chair or a button to engage the external view to take control of your ship From their you have full control of your ship speed, free movement, weapons, etc. and you can explore the whole system if theirs a battle in progress ya fly in and help mostly fly in range and then ya get a com to accept the mission. Or you can engage another player in pvp space fight or fly to a PvP zone that is a Open Starfighter PvP zone and switch to your Fighter. As for space missions NO MORE ROLLERCOSTER MISSIONS. Alot of us want free movement space missions meaning converting all the old missions and new space missions. PLEASE!!! If anyone agrees fill free to comment or have similar ideas are welcome. More people that comments about the changes or additions the more that bioware has to look into if I am right.

Thanks for the link gamer hmm no ETA so its possible the server maybe down for the rest of the day unless they can fix the problem in a few hours. the Last mmo I played call World of Warcraft the servers were down for few hours and sometimes down for the whole day from either server crashes or the new expansion releases and problems erupt.

Happened to me two I was on the server doing a mission then I was kicked out when I gotten kicked out I saw the server gone to green on population and then after I reloged back to the server page to update it gone offline whats going on? Yea I did Orcon also fun two wish it was little more harder to play when going against the trash but I am sure BW has reasons.

Hey guys I am planning to do healing for Both pve and pvp but I am not sure which class can do well I have checked some of the forums and I found the answer for pve with the latest info but when it comes to pvp no info at all with latest patch. I have ran both Operatives and Mercs and I love them both I have ran the sorcerer but I don't like their healing very much. But I am having a hard time finding which dose fine in pvp from survival which ya don't get very many deaths to be able to survive a fight to healing ya teammates quick enough before an enemy player sees ya etc.

Hello I am not sure if this has ever been asked but here goes have seen a lot of other mmos have the night and day system even weather and seasonal and I don't see any of that on ToR for any of the planets. Bioware should have those as well to make the game have more realism feel to it even when it comes to make the game enjoyable to play.
