  1. Yes! This is ridiculous. There is a 5-day debuff after you kill him, what is the point of a respawn timer? After all these server transfers there are at least 2 or more guilds camping the stone during prime time hours. If this wasn't the only way to get the boots it MIGHT be ok, but this is the ONLY place to get them so there shouldn't be a line and a wait. Remove the timer or add the boots as a drop in EC.
  2. I won't deny that I am impatient. I would love it if a new content patch was released every month. But that really isn't the point. We were told that we were getting a content light patch, but as a consolation, we would at least be getting it sooner than other patches. If this turns out not to be the case I don't see any fault in being upset with Bioware for giving us less content in the same amount of time as other patches. And as an update 1.3 is supposed to hit the test servers today. If i spends 2 weeks in testing, it will be out 2 weeks sooner than 1.2 took but twice as long as 1.1 took. If they only spend 1 week on testing (which isn't totally far-fetched since it is content light with no real "new content" to explore), then it will be out 3 weeks sooner, which all-in-all wouldn't be that bad. So we'll just have to see how long it takes in the end.
  3. Wrong. In The Old Republic Official Podcast Episode I (link here: http://www.swtor.com/blog/star-wars-old-republic-official-podcast-episode-i) at around 12 and half minutes, they specifically say "The patch is also mostly going to be a features patch. It's going to have a slightly shorter development time than the last patch." So yes, they did directly compare 1.3 to 1.2 in terms of development time and say that it was going to be shorter.
  4. Patch 1.1 launched on January 18th, roughly 30 days after launch. Patch 1.2 launched on April 12, about 85 days after 1.1. As of June 1st, it has been about 50 days since 1.2. It has been said in interviews and dev posts that 1.3 will be content light compared to 1.1 and 1.2 so that they can push it out “faster” to us. Allison Berryman posted today that “We haven't announced a date for 1.3 to go live yet, but it will be coming to the Public Test Server in the next few weeks.” If you take few to be a minimum of 2, and assume that it will spend at least 2 weeks on the PTS, then you are looking at a release date of July or later. In context, this is 2-3 times longer than it took patch 1.1 to come, and as long if not longer than it took patch 1.2 to come. Bioware, how do you justify giving us a patch lighter on content in the same time span (if not longer) of other patches after telling us we’ll get it sooner? Are you hoping that no one will notice that this patch did not in fact come sooner, or has your content delivery system atrophied and we should either expect lighter patches or longer patch intervals?
  5. We had this same problem as well and while the bug was annoying, it was the in-game customer service reps that had me most upset. When we encountered this bug last night half our operation immediately put in trouble tickets. In less than an hour 3 had spoken with CS reps which gave responses from: "Your kill could not be confirmed" even though we were obviously past the boss, standing at a locked chest, to "try to clear to the chest faster next time." We cleared to the chest in less than 10 minutes and when we asked if there was actually a timer to get to it he said he was not able to disclose that information. From all of my experiences with the in-game CS reps I'd say that they are lazy, sometimes rude, and pretty much worthless in fixing anything aside from missbought items.
  6. As many people have pointed out, the shared Nar Shada GTN is not common knowledge. The main assumption is that if you unlock the GTN on your ship, it is the GTN that you have been using, your faction one. People feel cheated because they are getting an inferior GTN after spending tons of credits. I am on Tomb of Freedon Nadd, the most populated EU server, and the shared GTN is dead. In one of the dev videos where they talk about legacy and what you can do with it they said how they did not want people to be hermits on their ship, BUT if you were filthy rich and could buy all the unlocks then you COULD be a hermit on your ship. Well I bought all the unlocks to live out my hermit fantasy but it was a waste. I can't get materials, stims, or other basic GTN supplies and nothing I put up for sale sells compared to the faction GTN. I really hope that whoever said they were combining the GTNs in 1.3 was being serious and not trolling us.
  7. I would LOVE to see numbers and percentages on Focus Targets. This would be incredibly helpful for some fights where mechanics trigger at certain percentages.
  8. Well the PVP bags do include an RNG element so it's difficult to gauge what the norm is. The Hard Mode's and Operations on the other hand always drop the same number of Columi gear. Most members of our guild are 75%+ columi geared and still unable to buy a single piece of columi gear with accommodations.
  9. It seems that the commendation systems for PvE and PvP are seriously flawed. My guild rushed to end-game and has been raiding and doing Hard Modes since the 1st week of launch. In that time I have acquired only 43 Columi Commendations, not enough to buy even a single piece of gear. And yet, through HM's and Operations, I have gotten all my pieces of Columi except for my mainhand (I got the Rakata Earpiece and Implants from doing the daily missions). As for PvP, I managed to get to get every single piece of champion gear, plus multiple duplicates, before I had enough Centurion Commendation to buy 2 pieces of gear. It seems that commendations need to either be much easier to obtain, or the Columi and Champion gear needs to be harder to get, because as is, the rate of commendation acquisition is not at all balanced with the rate gear acquisition and more or less makes them irrelevant.
  10. These are my thoughts exactly. I really want to play the game this should be, not its inbred cousin, bug every time I get really excited about something and let my guard down, I get smacked right in the face with a bug that breaks what I'm doing or tarnishes it in some way.
  11. That's the thing, the game is absolutely wonderful when it works. It's as soon as it breaks that you feel abandoned. You'll find a bug that you have you scratch your head over how it found its way into the game and then when you try and get support for it you get more or less (typically more) ignored. Case in point: I had two PVP tokens to buy items with, I accidentally bought two of the same item and wanted to see if I could trade the item back for my token. I put in a ticket and got a reply 3 days later saying I could swap the item, but only 3 times in a 6 month period, and if I wanted to do so, to create a new ticket with the word "seesaw" somewhere in the message and all the details of the purchase. I had all the details in the first message, so I was a little annoyed that I couldn't just reopen or update the ticket but instead had to create a new one and wait 3 more days. So I did... and 3 days later I got a reply telling me THE EXACT SAME THING as the first email. They wanted me to make a new ticket with "seesaw" somewhere in the message and list all the details. I was angry at this point, but I did it. It only took two days this time to get my next response with the SAME MESSAGE AGAIN. Tired of having to retype the ticket each time I emailed support@swtor.com instead with all the details. My initial ticket was sent on 12/26 and it has yet to be resolved. I honestly wish they had just told me I couldn't get the item back, it would have been slightly disheartening but a lesson learned. Instead I was subjected to a frustratingly tedious chain of help tickets with copied and pasted responses that left me feeling utterly ignored as a customer.
  12. It seems like everything I'm reading on these forums are problems with the game, horrible customer service, why people are quitting, etc. I'm a patient person, and I really like this game, so I'll wait stubbornly for patches to roll out that will hopefully bring this game to the level that it should be. The problem is, I don't think most people are as patient as I am, and I am worried that SWTOR will lose many players in the process. This makes me sad because players = money = funding for development = more content = fun (typically). So the more people that leave, the worse the game ultimately becomes, in the long run. So many things in this game need attention. There are innumerable bugs that frustrate and infuriate; bugs that there is no excuse why they made it out of beta. Customer service appears random at best and atrocious at other times with no accountability. A CSR can close my ticket without answering my question or solving my problem and I have no recourse to either reopen the ticket nor respond to whether or not they were effective. I can only create a new ticket and wait 3-4 days for a copy and pasted response again. I want to believe that Bioware is doing everything they can to make this game great, and fix all of it's problems, but I just don't see it. There is such an outcry from the community and virtual silence on their end. I want to be reassured, with more than just lip service. I want someone to talk to us like adults and treat us like the customers we are. Yes, they offer an experience we can't get elsewhere, but only to a point, and that advantage only works so far until our patience wares out. You made a great game Bioware, now bring it up to the standard that it should have been at launch. I love this game, please stop making me sad to play it.
  13. Our guild set out tonight to do the quest "Hutt Hospitality" in the operation "Karagga's Palace". However, when we zoned into the space dock on the Ziost Shadow, the ship was missing. We could see it from outside the instance, but not on the inside. Some of us tried abandoning the quest to see if that should fix it, only now we can't pick it up again. The mission terminal outside the hallway is gone, and only the dropbox remains. Did they temporarily remove an Operation with today's mini-patch and not tell anyone or is our entire guild/server bugged?
  14. Can we please have a dev confirm this is being worked on?
  15. I bought one of the Champion token PVP relics today and noticed that there were no stats on it other than the Use ability. The Blue that I had equipped had slightly less of a bonus BUT +35 endurance. The endurance buff definitely outweighed the increase in the use effect. So my question is: Is this intentional or a bug? This is an end-game PVP artifact item that is worse than the level 44 vender blue relic I had.
