  1. Thanks everyone for your help. If its nothing to worry about then I'll try not to. I've went ahead and purchased a cooling pad (a decent one) to see if that helps the heat. Thanks
  2. I have purchased a new laptop and I am able to play SWTOR on it. The laptop is days old and when I am playing it is getting warm/hot when doing activities such as flashpoints. Any ideas on what I could do to cool it down? I have thought about getting a laptop cooler fan pad, never bought one before and I don't know if it would work. I would have purchased one I have found online to see if that helps the heat issue. Any advice would be great. Thanks
  3. Hi everyone, just thought I’d post this here and ask for some advice. I’m looking to buy a new laptop because my other one died on me recently. I have searched and found 2 that are similar. These laptops will be for general work for my job, and for playing SWTOR. I won’t be playing any other games on it just SWTOR. They are both ASUS (brand I like), both 8GB RAM (DDR4), both Full HD. One of them is 256GB SSD and the other is 512GB SSD. Both laptops are Intel core i5 Quad Core. Both are Integrated Intel UHD graphics. Would these be enough to run SWTOR? And for work? What would be the better option? It would be great to have some advice. Thanks.
  4. Hi everyone, I’m having to buy a new laptop as my previous one died on me. I’m here to ask whether the one I have found is good enough to run SWTOR. The laptop is not only to play SWTOR it’s for work also. Here are the specs on the laptop I have found: Intel® Core™ i5-1035G1 Processor - Quad-core - 1.0 / 3.6 GHz - 6 MB cache - 8 GB DDR4 - 256 GB SSD Would that be acceptable to run SWTOR and complete jobs for work? Thank you.
  5. I have played through all the missions for both KOTFE and KOTET on a Sith Assassin and Gunslinger. My main question is do I have to play through them all again or can i skip them? I've made a new character which is lvl 70 and i dont want to play through them again. Can i just skip them and move onto Jedi Under Siege, Ossus content? Only thing is, what would I have missed by skipping them? The new char i made is LS, so I dont want any DS choices. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  8. Hi there, just wanted to know if there will be any release of any new types of species? For me new race types offer new ways to play and choosing different options in conversations with other characters. The race I’ve been patiently waiting on is the Nautolan race, my favourite Jedi was Master Kit Fisto. Loved him in all the movies and was very sad to see him die in Ep III when Darth Sidious struck him down. You already have a lot of NPC characters as the Nautolan race anyway, would it be so hard to let us play as them to. A simple request as it would add more enjoyment to a great game. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Kind regards.
  9. I play on the Red Eclipse server empire side , I play a rDPS (sniper). I'm not totally against voice chat, but I prefer to type or to read up on tacs before hand. I suppose I wouldn't have to talk, but just listen and follow instructions given by the raid leader. Thanks.
  10. Hello, I am looking to join a guild that does FP's and Ops. Any lvl of ops is good, like SM,HM,NiM, all these would be great. Also raiding a few times a week. The ops each week don't have to be mandatory and can join at own pace. Pref PvE. Voice chat don't use, prefer to type in chat or before hand look up tacs. An active, social and English speaking guild would be best. Some weekdays, Wednesdays would be best, also can ops on weekends. My gear is some parts 180, others 168. Post names of guilds and some info on what your guild is like, eg. ops runs (which ones and how many bosses completed). Any help would be appreciated, Thank you.
