  1. The Blackbolt and Sting look like what Imperial ships should look like.. the two strike craft and the gunship look... well.. like they don't belong. The Pub ships all share a common theme, which is awesome. They all look similar in some way, but they are definitely unique models. Imp ships look like they took one model and added 10 more panels to it in any way they thought would look "different".
  2. I mean seriously? Why are they such an eyesore? I think the only two "decent" looking ships that the Imps are privy to are the S-12 and S-13. The others look too clunky and too... "non-sith" if that makes sense. Idk, maybe I'm the only one who was expecting gunships to look like the Bounty Hunter ships, the Strike Fighters to look like the Fury, and the Scouts to look like the Agent ship... which would be better imo but, hey.
  3. Every post of yours I've read in this thread is filled with ignorant suggestions that have no basis in a 3D space fighter sim, especially not with the "tactics" employed in GSF. Gunships won't take the risky shots unless they're very skilled, this we know. There's nothing to stop them from sniping you out of a dogfight (what the original OP was complaining about btw since you seem to have missed his whole point) which is all fair in the end of the day, but when you're getting 1shot through shields on a maxed out Scout or Strike from a range you can't even detect, there's a problem. How are you supposed to "Be the rabbit!" when you can't even tell you're being targeted?
  4. Well that would certainly be a pain in my rear.. seeing my win percentage so low due to the Pubs winning Every. Single. Match.
  5. In the movies the Pubbies always fired red lasers in space, and the Imperials always fired green. Please, cry about something you have a nuance of knowledge about?
  6. Imps on The Shadowlands are getting smacked around too, I've won probably 3 games in 30.
  7. ...except not everyone can waste more money than they do on subscriptions.
  8. GSF seems to have a bad case of WoW syndrome. That being Horde always winning, and Alliance always losing (unless they've got a great premade). Horde being, in this case, the Pubs. What can we do to combat this? The only thing I can suggest is roll with some friends, converge on one target, and have great communication. One thing I've noticed playing both of these games is that the pubs are more vocal during PvP matches. Imps are quiet, but usually know what's going on. This needs to change, start communicating little sith!
  9. It really is sad how many people have no idea what the hell they're doing in these warzones.. not only does it spell out to you what to do just by listening... but you can just follow people around and get the jist of what the hell to do. Not to mention the heaps of people who have no idea how to play their class. It still shocks me how, at 55, people don't know what to do in PvP, let alone 10-54 warzones.
  10. My top 5 in order of most important to not as important. 1) Class Story 2) Other (Cross-Server) 3) PvP / Warzones 4) Planets 5) Minigames
  11. Hey there peoples of The old Republic, today I was talking in Ventrilo with some fleet mates and my nickname kept popping up. We then discussed how funny it would be to see my character named "Darth Fartlord" running around the Wheel (Imperial Fleet). Don't ask how I got the nickname, you don't want to know. But anyway, I was wondering if there was already some sort of paid/free option to change the name of your character WITHOUT having to server transfer? And if there isn't, how many people here think their SHOULD be and option (be it paid or not) to change a character's name? Post your thoughts down below...
