  1. Welcome to Knights of the Eternal Disappointment!
  2. How about a random BioWare employee is fired during each livestream until GC is removed?
  3. It was already mentioned somewhere that some of the changes coming with 5.0 were to simplify things for new players. Part of the problem is their approach. They nerfed the living #@i$ out of the learning curve for this game. I even had the displeasure of running ops with dps that had no idea of their rotations (something that quite a few people predicted and resulted from the Lvl60 tokens and OP companions). I'll use this as an example. Another thread (http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=899134) mentions that stances (forms, charge, technique, cells, and cylinders) will be passives in the respective disciplines. If you look in the discipline tree, there are passives that state "While X form/charge/technique/cell/cylinder is active...." If you don't have the appropriate form/charge/technique/cell/cylinder active, that's on you. I have people ask me what form/charge/technique/cell/cylinder they need to be using and I tell them to read their discipline tree and figure it out. It's not hard. (And yes, I know. Accidents happen when some players respec, but that goes to not paying attention to what you're doing.)
  4. Galactic Command should not replace the current loot setup in Ops. If anything, it should compliment it. That way, people that want to push for Ops can do that and gear up at their own rate (which GC would assist with that) while other players can take their time doing whatever and gear up at their own pace as well (and who knows, maybe they'll want to learn ops). Also, leave in the data crystals to purchase gear mods (mods and enhancements only, similar to current PvP mods and enhancements). With gearing through GC, players are going to be more limited on how they gear their toons (PvE vs PvP). Convert WZ comms to CXP (obviously a very generous amount in comparison to the level requirements). The data crystal vendors should be left alone, as they add additional value to data crystals and give players more to actually work towards, especially with stronghold decos. If anything, add more decos to those vendors.

  6. The GSI Combat Support Droid can be annoying as hell for tanks in Solo Mode FPs. Best solution I can think of would be to allow the ability to toggle roles for mob control. This should not function like companions where you can only select one role. All roles are available and by default are turned on. By turning off certain roles, the GSI droid will not use abilities associated with those roles. For example, turning off the tank role will prevent it from using abilities like taunts and guard but it will still use damage and healer role abilities.
  7. IMO, all this thread does is prove what is wrong with the current generation of gamers. They want the reward without the investment, success without the work.
  8. Here's a wild idea. Remove the Prelude and Shadow of Revan FPs from the SM Flashpoint Master achievement. Since they're required for to complete Shadow of Revan, which is another DvL requirement, you have to do them anyway. Dept of Redundancy Dept called and they want their redundancy back.
  9. So, who's ready to bail on this crappy game and head over to the new hotness of No Man's Sky?
  10. Seems to me like someone is saltier than the Dead Sea. Sit down and pee while I dispatch the Wahbulance to pick you up. -BBB Human Resources Dept
  11. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zaiPoCyxqyc Good advice.
  12. That is a false statement. Force Potency/Recklessness increase crit chance by 60%, not guarantee crits. Its up to 3 charges for Sages/Sorcs with 6 piece set bonus. With the autocrits, your crit chance gets added to crit damage, resulting in what some folks call supercrits (highest I've done is about 25k on my merc). DPS Shadows/Assassins have an autocrit for their 6 piece set bonus: (6) After activating Voltaic Slash and Thrash or Clairvoyant Strike and Double Strike your next Assassinate and Maul or Spinning Strike and Shadow Strike will critically hit. This effect can only occur once every minute. Here is a link for all the set bonuses: http://ootinicast.com/2016/02/pve-and-pvp-set-bonuses-4-0/ See for yourself. The dps sets are Vindicator (Guardian/Juggernaut), Weaponmaster (Sentinel/Marauder), Force Master (Sage/Sorc), Stalker (Shadow/Assassin), Combat Tech (Vanguard/Powertech), Eliminator (Commando/Mercenary), Enforcer (Scoundrel/Operative) and Field Tech (Gunslinger/Sniper). Also, Smuggler's Luck/Laze Target increase crit chance of certain abilities by 100%, you get 2 charges with Field Tech 6 piece set bonus, and the ability has a 1 min CD.
