  1. Lets get Malak's armor in finally. We have many similar sets without a cloak, and we even have Satele's armor in the CM.
  2. Yes I love this bug! Definitely needs to be brought up to at least add a zoom-out function to the character select screen. I know from when the game first came out a lot of people wanted that feature. Let's show the love and bring it to life!
  3. Yeah this long time bug would be nice to fix. I sure do miss that effect.
  4. I'm pretty sure this has already been suggested, but just in case not, a item database that allows you to search for specific types of items (armor types, slot, etc.) and Flashpoints and Heroic quests. Much like in WoW with the Dungeon Journal and Atlasloot.
  5. For some reason when I log onto my Commando his head slot does not show. The box isn't checked to hide it and equipping and un-equipping doesn't help it either. Even when I go to preview new head slots, if the helmet is the same model as the "Athiss Enforcer's Headgear" they do not show, but everything else does.
  6. Yes I get it Malak doesn't have a jaw and has a voice box to speak and the metal piece just covers it up. I've known this for years. But you have to understand, when you think of Malak and when he speaks he has that voice alteration because of his voice box. It makes it unique to that character. When you hear that voice you think "Oh that's Malak alright." Now I understand that THERE IS NO POSSIBLE WAY FOR US TO GET OUR JAWS CUT OFF TO HAVE US GET A VOICE BOX but still when you associate that armor to the person that was wearing it you are expecting for it to also mimic how the person sounded. I will say it again, if Darth Vader's armor was added to SWTOR and it did not have the breathing and the deep voice, it would break the illusion of what you're trying to accomplish with said armor. Yes Malak doesn't have a jaw and yes we can't get our jaws cut off as well, but I would like to hear that sound still over my voice because of how unique it sounded...to my knowledge there isn't a head piece in game that gives me that type of effect.
  7. I have played KotOR a numerous amount of times to know all of Malak's backstory and his voice box. Regardless...he has a distinct sound...no one knew Malak didn't have a jaw until the very end of the game, and as such he still has a unique effect on his voice. Not having some distorted sound over the voice would be like if they put Darth Vader's armor in the game and didn't give us the deep voice because none of our characters were nearly burned half to death, its just the aesthetic. We don't have to have our jaws cut off, or any body manipulation for that matter, to make up our own backstory for our characters. When I saw the Malak armor first come out I got all excited because I wanted to hear what my Juggernaut sounded like with a metallic voice (and yes my jaw is not cut off), and when there wasn't an effect on top of my voice I was immediately disappointed. I still use the armor because I think it is entirely ******, but I do wish there was something there for the mask.
  8. I would have to talk to your design team myself. Because if this is Malak's mask, Malak did have a metal twang in his voice. Jawless or no it would make for a nice cosmetic choice. Like in this video....
  9. I agree...this would help with from jumping from other characters to get some cash for an item of just to transfer.
  10. Since the server merge today, I noticed that the game client has been running extremely high, even when just launching the game. My CPU says its running at 100%, but unusually my amount of RAM is staying fairly low. Anyone else having issues with their client?
  11. So I know that with the merge all guilds and authority will be switched, but I have a question. I left my old guild, that I created back at launch, for the free transfer. Of course with doing this I had to give guild lead to another member, who I knew wasn't going to come back to the game just in case other's transferred as well. With the Free-to-play option coming out soon I'm sure a good bit of them might come back. So my question is, will there be a way to have guild leadership switch for inactive players?
  12. Not sure if there is another thread already, but I transferred my characters from Belgoth's Beacon to The Fatman today, I have 8 characters on BB and when I try and transfer my last character to Fatman it says I have 8 characters on that server and won't let me select it, yet when I log in there are only 7 on that server. Anyone else have that issue?
  13. Yes but SWTOR is not at the stage in its life to need automated systems. All the flashpoints are in one area, and the fleet is the hang out for everyone when they are not questing or doing anything. If you're trying to do a flashpoint while being a low level and cant find anyone, that happens. I go through it all the time on my alts. If I dont get anyone I simply move on and try again later, or not at all. It's not going to hinder my leveling experience if I do it or not. And even with the endgame content we are not that far in to need to worry about rushing to catch up to the current raid standards. Yes I know not finding a group is annoying, a better LFG option does need to be added, but not as far as being automated.
  14. All I have to say is...WoW has lasted 7 years and is the largest subscribing MMO in the world, and the automated LFG finders have only been added over the course of 2 years, starting with the last content patch of WotLK. The LFG system originally in WoW was infact gen/trade chat, and the LFG panel where you listed your name and your roll. It is not essential for these systems to be in the game at launch in order for it to succeed.
  15. I completely agree. The LFG system thats already in the game needs to be elaborated on, which Bioware said they were going to look at the longer this game is out. I personally would like to be able to list myself as a tank for so and so flashpoint instead of spamming every 20 seconds. An automated finder would not really help because you really dont need to worry about phasing to the instance since all the flashpoints except for Battle for Ilum and False Emperor are in the fleet and take 15 secs to get to. As for the WoW automated finder it has its purpose but that doesnt mean it needs to be in every MMO. Yes it does help for convince because all of WoW's instances are spread out all over its world, and some take 20 mins to get to, so that system works for them. Finally, the game is in its first month of launch, you cant expect a new game to have everything right from the get go.
