  1. Well I for one think they should either take the servers down NOW to fix it, or allow people to use this feature. If biofail cant test the game properly, why should users have to suffer. The only way I will accept the current stance is if bioware agree to credit at least 1 million credits to every *Character* that does NOT use this FEATURE. Note my use of the word Feature, and not Exploit. Bioware's incompetence does not equal an exploit. An exploit is something that has to be worked out, not something clearly advertised on a vendor (And the god damn login screen) because someone forgot to update the sell price as well as the buy price.
  2. Personally I have wasted 4 million credits retraining skills across 15 characters. Very pissed off that there will be no compensation whatsoever.
  3. Training of abilities was free during 12x xp, so making it free for a few months to cover their **** UP sounds pretty fair to me. Also you need to work out how to refund the credits to everyone who was forced to empty their bank to retrain, be that free credits, 1000+ free cartel coins, or several free cartel packs. If its truly intended, than bioware/ea, you can go **** selves if you think I am continuing to pay for this crap treatment.
  4. They probably got told about hundreds of issues in the beta, and ignored every single one of them and released it as it was anyway. At least thats my personal experience of actually taking part in one of biofails 'beta' tests.
  5. Hopefully they will fix some of the other issues such as being unable to set legacy titles.
  6. Why not just log a character in on the live servers and see the bugs for yourself. Try to join a group or queue for gsf/wz/gf. Try to quick travel to fleet pass. If you manage to get a wz pop, try exiting the warzone afterwards. These bugs seem to be affecting everyone on red eclipse pretty equally.
  7. THEYRE NOT BUGS... They are undocumented features.
  8. Logged into Red Eclipse at 10am this morning and joined solo ranked queue. Its now 12pm, and we have an ops group with 7 players in it, all of whom are in the solo queue. Standing around on the fleet, waiting, and being unable to even do normal warzones while waiting, is not my idea of fun. Group concensus now is give up with ranked, and go play normal instead. Over the weekend, there are pops, but during the day, nothing seems to happen because there are not enough players active on the server. Why oh Why wont Bioware add Cross Server queues is just beyond me. For one the rankings are counted among all servers. So someone could be the second best player in the world, but never have gotten to fight against the best and 3rd best due to being on the wrong server. To me that makes the global rankings utterly meaningless. And as for anything about being less social, competitive or whatever which have been cited as reason for not adding cross server.... actually getting to play something is far higher up my list of priorities than caring about who I am playing against. Hell I dont even care if the enemy team speaks the same language as me, or if they are on a pve, pvp or rp server I JUST WANT TO PLAY A DAMN ARENA!
  9. Having issues with unleashed post 2.7 I have 32gb ram, and have everything set to copy to the ram drive. Unleashed creates me a 22.5Gb ram drive. Its like unleashed has not updated the size of some files, as after loading the entire game onto a ram drive there is only 972mb free, so swtor wont run due to not having enough free space for diskcachearena Do i need to reboot for it to recalculate the file sizes or something? Any suggestions? Edit: as a workaround.. Open unleashed, once you have the launcher open, close it. Now open the imdisk control panel, note the size of the ram disk created,. Now delete it, and manually add a new ramdisk using the same letter, and add 1gb to the size. Format as ntfs, and restart unleashed.
  10. +1 Doesnt matter what ideas you have for another warzone. We need Cross server queues, as well as seperate 4v4 and 8v8 queues before it will make the blindest bit of difference. Have you ever tried pvping in SWTOR at 4am?
  11. More like "threaten the specific dev/scapegoat who was used to tell us about all these wonderful features that they failed to even attempt to deliver on". As far as I'm concerned, I cant trust anything that man ever said, as the vast majority of it never happened. And I don't like people who lie to me, in order to con me into continuing to pay for a service in the belief that XYZ is being worked on and will be coming soon, whether they happen to be a dev or otherwise. Why do you think there was no repeat of the guild summit this year? I'm pretty sure I'm not alone in my feelings, and bioware know it lol.
  12. Cross character shared storage space for all those legacy items, and crafting materials would be nice while they're at it!
  13. They threw that out of the window when giving us lightsabers without a power cord and belt mounted power pack! Sources: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Lightsaber The timeline SWTOR is set in, the small handheld units we use had not even been invented yet!
  14. So just leave "Random" as default, and top of the list, and perhaps give a bonus for doing a totally random warzone. This is exactly how it works in Wow and Rift, the only other MMO's I have played which take pvp seriously. Rift even goes a few steps further, and adds weekly player and guild quests to do a certain map X times per week, and changes which map every time it resets. Underlying problem is not the lack of people wantign to do a certain warzone, but the lack of cross server matching, which means not enough people ON A SINGLE SERVER wanting to do the same thing. Bioware was told from day 1 that they needed cross server PVP, and failed to listen. They were told from day 1 that we wanted to choose WHAT warzone we queued for. GABE TOLD US AT THE GUILD SUMMIT: "The inability to queue for specific Warzones is a known issue" AND "The idea is to reduce people on faction-imbalanced servers from playing Huttball constantly" "Cross server queuiing for Warzones is in the future" "Choosing a specific Warzone is in the future" Source: http://torwars.com/guild-summit-full-audio-and-details-from-the-pvp-panel/ If I ever get to meet the lying **** I will gladly wipe that smug *********** grin off his face with some real life PVP.
