  1. No change pls. My operative lives to stab and giggle. Oh, and to stunlock too.
  2. sorry myself out, thanks
  3. Trying to explain to pugs why certain classes are fitted for certain roles and not others is a wasted effort most of the time. Even if you're the only healer in the team and are begging for someone to trade place so you may heal everyone at mid, they just dont care. You know, because tunnel vision is serious business. I bet they aren't even looking at the screen half the time, just smashing their keyboard with their l33t rotation. "Someday that tank getting healed will die from my uber dps , everyone attack the tank and make sure to ignore the enemy healer!!!" they say....
  4. lol conan xD At the same time, he's obviously smash specced so no wonder he's having a good time hehe
  5. That poor annihilation marauder never had a chance and that merc should start keybinding, cant believe he just let you pummel him like that. No cc or kiting. Nice idea I guess, but these 2 guys were pretty poor opponents. By their choice of spec and/or skill levels. Wish we had more reasons to do OWPVP but right now, we've got zilch. Well, we have the pvp planet defenders achievement points but they're just there to help gankers feel like they're not entirely wasting their time.
  6. Not really a proper excuse or explanation to the problem at end. I used to think as well that our survibility was the tradeoff and an acceptable one, but when the top healing record for scoundrel and sage respectively on my server is 2.8mil and 2.2mil while the commando/merc best healers was around 1.6mil....well you have a serious problem. Even if we had as much survivibility as a tank, we're just about half as good as a scoundrel. And if we're goung to bring the subject of survivibility and tools then scoundrels are pretty well well covered in that department ( goodbye danger, hello stealth). If bioware wanted only 2 classes to be competitive healer then why make a mediocre, third one? To troll us?
  7. I hate you OP:, you made me cry
  8. I think premades is a pretty cool guy, eh kills pugs and doesn't afraid of anyrhing.
  9. I completely agree. Give me x servers pvp and I wont care about about solo q anymore. Right now if iwas implented without x server there wouldnt be enough players to go around for premades vs premades ( which is bound to be a better match and source of learning/practice than pugs. That would end meaning less pvp content for me and my friends to play. Remember pvpers have been content starved since 1.6 so we get touchy when anyone says let change/remove this or that. And to me, playing with my friends is pvp content. If i am guaranteed an endless supply of opponents and decent queue times then I dont care about solo q. Have it or anything you want for all I care lol
  10. Last week in Hypergates, a vanguard was guarding the pyl. I typed in chat: "watch out for ninjas and stay close to node". Because the enemy team had a couple of stealthers, you see. The vanguard, cocky as hell: "dunt worry, ive got this. Nobody will get past me". These were his actual words. So anyway we're still fighting for control of mid when I die and get sent to respawn. It is there I see a blue beam of light pop up behind our ever watchful vanguard, who's currently spamming chat with useful nonsense such as "watch me, unsheathe your weapon like me to be ready". I try to type "behind youuuu!!!!" As fast as I can but it's already too late and the enemy caps. The vanguard "sorry i didnt see". I think he was a roleplayer so I let it slide but still...facepalm.
  11. The fire did the burst, the fire deserves the kill.
  12. Thats a bit harsh. The guy had a very good point. No one starts pvp knowing what to do. The learning curve is immense, really. Gotta learn your class, gotta learn the strats of each warzone, gotta learn how to communicate properly, gotta learn how to be aware of your environment, enemies and team mates movements, gotta learn how to position yourself, gotta kearn how to counter other classes, gotta learn how resolve works and when to use your cc breaker or which enemy cast needa to be interrupted, gotta learn working as a team by docusing on same targets and objectives, etc... Im not even getting into movement, targetting or keybinding or BiS optimization . And Im sure theres a lot of other stuff I havent mentionned or dont know myself yet. What im trying to say is, pvp is competitive and casuals will always struggle against an individual/ team who goes the extra mile to get better. But thats always going to happen when you pit the guy who wants to have fun vs the guy who wants to win. Two different mentalities for two different types of players. Not saying either is wrong or that casuals cant hope to win, but for dome people pvp is taken as seriously as raiding so they constantly serk how to increase their performance. Premade or no premade. When I do pve for example and join an ops storymode (aka pve equivalent of regular warzone) theres always a few pve "pros" on the team who generally carry the rest of the group and will sigh and moan when we maje mistakes and get us wiped. They ll rage quit and scream abuse sometimes too. And I dont mnd, these guys put in the work and the research to out perform other players in their preferred aspect of the game (pve). And I know I dont stand a chance to join them on guild runs for hm or nim til I get much, much better. Should I start raging and raving about how these "elite" pvers are blocking me from enjoying the game because they eont pick me foe raids or leave the group because we suck ? Why is it okay to do the same for pvp ? Just because theres no ops leader to kick you or no gear chevk to block you from joining the game means that its alright to join in matches undergeared or playing like a headless chicken AND then complain that there sre people in the opposing team who did get ready and know how to play ? If you put in zero effort and fail at pvp, its your problem. Dont see ehy other players dhould be prevented from playing together hust under the pretext they know what they sre doing and you dont. God i cant imagine the drama if that game was ffa...
  13. commandos healers are quite sub-par at the moment though. Still viable, but subpar nonetheless.
