  1. Hard Mode False Emperor. My lvl 65 DPS sniper friend and I (65 Op healer) match with randoms. The other 65 Jugg DPS was fine but... Lvl 50 Juggernaut tank, didn't guard no matter how much we asked, hardly taunted, never held aggro, no awareness, obviously doesn't know his rotation. I can handle this kind of buffoonery in Tacticals but not HMs, especially as a healer. Bolster can only help so much. I checked his achievements, and he never even finished False Emperor in story mode. I died a lot to trash, and we wiped once at every boss. He was pretty much invisible for every boss fight, and ended up dying in all of them because I prioritized healing the DPS, who were getting destroyed by the bosses. Props to them they dropped the bosses quite fast. After dying to more trash, we kicked him before HK-47, and told him not to do anymore hard modes until he had actually finished story mode. We managed just fine with a tank companion. Somehow I feel with this new GF system, pugs are rolling tanks with no regard for how it's different to DPS just because it'll pop faster. God forbid they invade HMs like this guy did.
  2. Have you guys not checked out all the legacy gear you get from Star Fortress runs? You get a ton of moddable gear including some of the old ops gear (Underworld, Dread Guard, etc.). My legacy bank is pretty much full to bursting with that stuff already. Also, the Specialty Good vendors are still on the planets and they sell Orange gear for credits (ie. Black Talon gear on Dromund Kaas). Not to mention the new Armormech schematics.
  3. There's a guy like this in our guild (GM is one of those guys that wants to run a massive guild). Full 198 ult comm gear, no optimization, awful rotation, no situational awareness, always overheating, and always the guy to die first. Once we found out he wasn't using the correct cylinder as a Merc Arsenal spec. I think the main problem is he has a lot of lag, and he gets invited to pug runs for those ult comms no problem because of his gear. We keep telling him tips but nothing has improved. Eventually enough is enough. I think if he causes us to wipe at Underlurker today then we're kicking him from the raid group.
  4. On the last parse we looked at it was as simple as figuring out that the guy (Merc Arsenal in full 198 ult comm gear) did not have the correct cylinder enabled for his spec...this was after 20 wipes and berating the rest of us for not having enough DPS.
  5. No need to do anything, this is simple supply and demand. They are selling for ridiculous prices because people are willing to pay for that ridiculous price. Nothing wrong with that because those are exclusive items as they should be, else they wouldn't be so special. Sad to say but if you don't wanna farm credits then just give up now, because that's exactly what the people that buy at those prices are doing. Same for armor pieces from high level ops. What chance would you have of getting them if you don't like raiding? Meanwhile raiders are rewarded for completing hard content and have something to show off. Also, ability to buy credits would = higher GTN prices. Stupid idea. You could create more credit sinks to price more people out of the market thereby forcing sellers to lower their prices, or increase the availability of those pieces by increasing drop rates or lowering CC prices (*hint* not gonna happen).
  6. Any armormechs out there with this schematic? I would like to buy the gauntlets as they have the blue glowing lights on them. Willing to pay for mats etc. + a little extra Neither the schematic nor the piece itself is ever on the GTN so thought I'd try here. http://tor-fashion.com/electrum-onslaught/
  7. Weirdly enough I don't actually have that much trouble pugging Underlurker, but I do have problems when I'm with some of the regulars. Usually it's always one person that consistently has trouble multi-tasking enough to deal with mechanics, no matter if you go through 10 wipes, and one person messing up the cross is all it takes. Yesterday we pugged Underlurker...two people (tank & DPS) had 190 Citadel gear no augments, never did it before, and another was 190/192 but not fully augmented. We got the green cross every single time, and it only took 1 wipe for them to fully understand what was going on. We beat UL after 2 wipes. For the two I mentioned first, it was their first raid since playing at launch, and they later asked if we could do HM because it was apparently too easy. Meanwhile the people I play with regularly have 192/198 fully augmented gear, but they still have trouble telling left from right, and have crap rotations. Some people just can't get it. Gear & achievements only tells part of the story.
  8. Thanks to the NGE group on ToFN for the HM run of S&V. Being on this server from North America due to friends makes it tough to be on when everyone else is on. These guys accommodated me, and pulled me through no problem. I believe the liaison for my run was Yuki, and we finished our run in one hour. All the terms and exchanges were carried out no problem. Would recommend.
  9. Sent you a forum PM curt. I don't have a Republic character so wasn't able to msg you in-game.
