Exactly. These time frames are being used as a marketing tool to secure more subs. That is what I take issue with, not the delay of the patch.

Agreed, and thanks for reading my post instead of commenting solely on the title like so many others have. I think this is my biggest concern though. They seem to be using these dates as a marketing tool to keep their subs up. My fear is that they are not as "bush league" as you might believe and use this tactic sting us along. That's far worse imo.

I take it both of you didn't read my post in it's entirety, because I think my title is a little misleading. I understand that it is not ready and still buggy. What I take issue with is being constantly stung along by Bioware with false time frames. Sorry if that was unclear in the title, but my hope was that people would read the entire post.

I get that these things take time, but in an industry so ripe with competition why did you guys even bother stringing us along with these false dates for 1.2? First we heard that it was in March and had to suck it up when we were left with nothing. Now I see that in fact we won't have patch maintenance this Tuesday which means once again you have failed at keeping your word. So level with us please. Since we know the patch can only be here at the earliest on the 17th (no longer early April and even past mid April) why even bother with made up time frames? I think most of us understand that development takes time, but what makes it far worse is the false sense of hope you instill in the community. We believe in you because we have no reason not to, and yet at every turn we are deflated by sad truths. I lead a guild of average everyday older gamers and we're bleeding members by the handful. It's not because they don't like the game either, they just feel like they have taken enough hits from the devs and would rather spend their entertainment dollars else where. I've tried so hard to reassure them with the future, but the future never seems to come. Now I'm left wondering if I was the one who was wrong and so here I am with this post. What are you guys doing to ensure an accurate timeline? How many more twitter posts, free weekends, and QandA will I have to suffer through before we actually SEE new content. Is there anyway around this? At least the option to pass or see the loot before hand? This seems almost idiotic.

What in the world does being casual have to do with wanting Dual spec? You think it's hardcore to respec?
