Bye bye good, old 7Stuck Noch einmal der Hinweis: Dieser Post ist stark gekürzt. So far, good new 7Stuck
  2. To compare the difficulty lvl of sw:tor and wow is pretty hard, because the raids differ in a lot of aspects. But first i must admit that my active raid time in wow is a while ago and i just started to play again. So i am not talking of the actual wow content in particular, but about my overall raid experience of some years in both game's end contents. 1. Gameplay in general feels more active for me than in wow, because there is no auto**** mechanic and u always have to press a key during the whole time to achieve max dps/hps. And the animations are great! 2. Fights are not that complex ins sw:tor than in wow, but u have no addons (or nearly no) to track the mechanics, so its all to urself 3. Boss mechanics are much more diversified in wow than in swtor 4. Raiding in 8 man groups (swtor) is a lot of fun, because there is a lot of room for some talking and u get ur raidmembers much better known then in the bigger wow raids (10-20) 5. Raiding in 8 man groups (swtor) weights the players stronger, so if the performance is pretty differend a good player can push a group aswell as a bad player can decelerate the whole group. This is motivating and frustrating at the same time, but a very big disadvantage regarding player fluctuation. 6. WoW has 4 different modes, so every raidgroup will find the right one. Swtor raid content difficulty has varied every operation like the coulor of every lightsaber, so the raid groups needed to adjust their orientation just as often. This led to greater player and guild fluctuation as i ever have seen in wow. Trying to press the whole swtor raidcommunity in just too different modes dont satisfy anyone. 7. The release interval of new content is much too long. In swtor u have to wait over 1 year to get something new to raid. wow has the much better content management regarding to raids. Bioware/Ea (swtor) either doesent have the resources to care about raids or just dont want a viable raidcommunity. Most players get bored or frustrated at some point and leave the game/ur raid group and u will ALWAYS searching for new players to keep on raiding. I dont know how it is looking for WoW but player and guild fluctuation is a very big problem in swtor mainly induced (for the raid members) by the points 6./7. And after playing since release now, without any noticeable pause, i dont see how this will ever change. U can have alot of fun in swtor, since u will meet a lot of friendly people here, who dont care for raids, for dps for gear or for progression. Raiding sm is fun and u will find groups pretty fast, but it is not challenging and motivating at all. just a nice amusement for in between. Finding a stable riad group for HC will be hard, because most groups left/will leave. U can try to ride against the mills, but u will never reach ur goal. So at all ... if u just want to play some casual stuff, swtor is pretty fine ... because its SW and the atmosphere is great. But DONT look here for stable raids/endcontent plz ... u will be disapointed.
  3. HAHHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAhahahahahhahahahaHAHHAHAH! NO! Where do u life ... perhaps u will be forced to take ur medpack ... dude where have u been the last years?
  4. I try to 'pull myself together' ... my little raider heart is allready beaten and kicked by BWs KotfE announcement ... its already lieing on the ground, bleeding and taking its last breath ... And then U cant simple pass by. NO! instead u start jumping on it and spit on it ... finally u mashed it and still complain it didnt splatter enough.:mad::mad: jesus ... noone wanna know what i wih u right now!
Haut rein!
  7. So the decision of BW is clear now ... they just dont care, if raider are satisfied and they dont try to reach a better release interval. They promised alot, they said they know and understand the importance of new content, but they just decide to go another way. No communication ... just these bits of information and more vague statements like 'we are aware of ...', 'we know that ...','we are working on...','we have a much better solution ...', 'u will see soon ....' But the only fact is antoher year with no acceptable opertion releases, blogs after blogs with no satisfying information and appeasement in series. There is no way not feeling mucked about this and the only reasonable answer to all this to decide that swtor is not a game for people who wanna raid and leave the game.
  8. There is no magic if u manage to release a new operation every 9 Month. All what raiders want to get is new content = new operations they can play every 8-9 Month. This is the maximum length which is acceptable for most player in raid guilds (ofc this is just my experiene i have through about 10 years of raiding now). Solo-Modes and tactical flashpoints are for those, who dont want to play with other people ... it is odd enough that there is so much 'solo' content in an MMO and it is even regrettably that the focus on this kind of content supplants the the multiplayer content.
  9. The most annoying thing about the old raids ... they are old and i ran them already a hundrets of times ... bringing them back for 3-4 weeky might be fun ... bringing them back for 3-4 month ist just annoying ... i dont care for running. plz fix this!
  10. Any new Information? Did i miss something? Will there still be operation in the expansion or will u just close ur operation servers? Probable the server workload is not high enough in ur statsitics and u just decide to close them!
  11. Any Update? Any Information? About PVE raid content? Perhaps?
  13. BW said some day ... its long, long ago ... maybe last year ... we will never have one operation tier for 1 year again .... And now? The current HC ops were released in dec, 2014 ... thats more than half a year now ... and the next thing on the plan is 3.3 comming next month. There will be no operation or mode, thats clear. The following thing on the plan is probably the expansion, which is announced for Oct 2015, so thats another 3 month. I hardly doupt that there will be any content in between. ... so RiP NiM! And with the new expansion ... they talked alot. about story...about companions, about a whole new feeling of story telling ... "its, all about story this year", WHAT? and operations? and playing with other ppl? Story is important and a lot of ppl claimed this ... but Story is nothing for a group or a raid, i can play that only alone ... but i want to play with other ppl. Ok so i play ur story BW, and then? Its taking me 20 Hours perhaps, and then? Even with an alt, its not keeping me busy for more than 1 month and then i have another 2 month to the next update. And then? Then its 1 year i 'played' the same operation tier ... again ... so RiP credibility ... Ok ok ... to be fair ... its not sure, that there will be no new operation with the expansion ... but its mosty likly now! Its speculation ... yes ... but if they wanna avoid those, they just need to confirm some REAL information about the operation ... about a new operation and NOT about rising lvl of the old ops ... thats just not new ... thats only recycling. So ... why they dont give us any information? Story is cool, companions are cool and i fully understand why SWTOR tries to focus on those content ... because thats the only thing which is unique in this MMO ... and its probably the only thing which is really good in this game. But sacrificing the real MMO (MULTI-player) content for the short pleasure of some story line. This cant work ... MMOs need repeatable content! And this is pvp, operations and fp (perhaps some daylies too), It takes me much more time to gear 2-3 Chars with the current gear than playing the story ... and for me its even much more fun ... but thats another point. Ok .. this would lead to a very different discussion. BTT: No new operation would mean first, another 3 month without new raid/multiplayer content and second ... a full year raiding the same operation ... again ... I DOUPT the main part of the raid community will accept this ... and an MMO without raids is just another version of an coop single player title ... and its absolutly unimportant how good the story will be ... its not a good MMO (any longer) ... and everyone who wanna play a story driven MMO will be hardly dissapointed here.
  15. Danke!
