Removing the (admittedly trivial) cost for visiting certain strongholds would be helpful, too. A lot of roleplayers hold events in strongholds, and the in-character location is often not the same planet as the stronghold name. The game has too many faction-based restrictions on mechanics RPers use. Tells being the most egregious example.

I know this is a bit of a necropost, but this bug is still in effect, and has been for over a year. It is impossible to see who is currently in a chat channel (even on initial login). The /list command is still there; if I do /list blargle I get: "You are not a member of the "blargle" channel." But if I list a channel I'm a member of, I get nothing. What's up with this issue?

Interactive storytelling. Check out http://begerencolony.org/ There's a lot going on that you won't see if you're just hanging around fleet.

Over Powered characters and underpowered lightsabers and lore

Sith know an awful lot about trolling, too. -
Yup. This issue is related to the chatlog request, which has had several threads (e.g., this one in this forum over the past years. I continue to be shocked that the chat system isn't a priority. Please give us some way to record conversations, whether manual (copy lines from chat window) or automatic (chat logging). Not having recording pushes RP events outside of the game, away from the lovely world that Bioware has created.

Wow, I am both super happy and super sad that this thread is still alive. I tried OCR but didn't have the time to do anything fancy with training, so unfortunately we're left waiting for the feature to be added. Yeah, when I said RSI I meant repetitive-stress. There's a _lot_ of transcription to do if one wants to share event text, etc.

Since release, the Nok Drayen codex has been given just before the final ch1 encounter on Nar Shaddaa. Reading the codex essentially spoils the multiple surprises in the final encounter. I know that most players have already finished Smuggler by now, but it's surprising that the codex is still positioned in this way.

How do you mean? (I know very little about TOR's chat system, beyond complaining about the lack of logging.)

Clan Bes'uliik is pretty hardcore.

This option does not really mean "everyone", even for the Nar Shaddaa and Tatooine strongholds. As the mouseover text says: "Selecting this option will share your stronghold with players of the same faction as your currently logged-in character." This makes running RP events a chore, as I need to rope someone else in to give explicit invites on the opposite faction, rather than just having an open area that anyone can join. The current system is extremely frustrating. Please give us the option to have a truly open stronghold.

Look out the first window of the Coruscant stronghold. There are two ships docked with the spire on the lower-level: a Valor-class cruiser (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Valor-class_cruiser) and Thranta-class corvette (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Thranta-class_corvette). The frigate is docked on the far side of the spire, and the Valor is closer. But the Corvette appears enormous---even longer than the cruiser, even though it is smaller and positioned further away. While the length isn't listed for the Thranta, we see comparative lengths in the old space missions, and there's no comparison. I know this is a minor issue, but it also looks quite jarring and harms the visual identity of the Coruscant SH. I wonder if there's a reason for this: is the Thranta some sort of superThranta? The gun-bubbles are the same size as on a normal one, though...

Please repeal the hologram npc decision

The excuse I often hear is that "it makes no sense for Malavai Quinn and Corso Riggs to be playing sabaac together". People are so afraid that we'll do something that looks weird. But so what? So what if someone creates a mildly lore-stretching scene? Moreover, most of us RPers use companions as props: Malavai Quinn *isn't* Malavai Quinn, and my Sith warrior isn't The Sith Warrior from Bioware's Story. -
Material values should soon become very interesting ...

I am also wondering how the prices on blue and purple mission items may change, given the shift in low and mid-level mission results.
