  1. Now that they’ve been separated from specific class mechanics. Like, now people can play a Jedi Caster and get the Knight Story. People can play a Sniper and get the Trooper Story etc. Is anybody thinking about giving a specific now-Origin Story a try now that you can choose your preffered combat style to go with it?
  2. So Imperial Odessen has the former Alliance Commander as some kind of representative to the Empire, either on the Dark Council, Keeper, or part of the Empress'/eror's Hand. When joining the Republic however, Odessen will be getting representation in the Senate. Who do you think will be Odessen's Senator, and if you could pick, who would it be?
  3. Especially if the Outlander is an Imperial Agent or Republic Trooper. It's run essentially by two members of the factions intelligence services + the Outlander, who, regardless of background, has participated in military campaigns. Just an observation I had. How do you see your Alliance? Militarist Stratocracy led by Colonel ******? An Intelligence-led coup of the Galaxy? A Jedi/Sith Ordenstaat? Discuss!
  4. Looking to start a discussion about what Political Parties, lobbies, special interest groups, and factions might take shape in a galaxy-spanning government. Besides the war with the Sith Empire (later dealing with living under the boot of the Eternal Empire), I could see a split similar to that present in Star Wars: Bloodline, with one faction in favor of centralization and one more in favor of devolution of responsibility to sector and system-level governments. Also, how involved do y'all think the Jedi might be in the politics of the Republic? As its sworn defenders and peacekeepers, how might they view such issues and in turn, how might the Senate view them? Particularly with the whole raising-children-from-infancy thing. Also, I was impressed by the character transition(development?) of Leontyne Saresh, from backwater reconstruction governor of a doomed planet to war-mongering ex-chancellor-puppetmaster pulling the strings of the Republic from the shadows. I was a fan at first, over time, not so much.
  5. If you enjoyed TSL in particular I would recommend the Jedi Consular Storyline as well. Similar feel, more word-y than action-y and very rewarding in the later Acts.
  6. If they want to go for an interesting Outlander, I'd say they'd make it Darth Occlus (not Nox). A "Grey" Sith following the beat of their own drum. Why are they leading the Rebels? To destroy Zakuul? Or take it over?
  7. Right?! It's been SO looooong. I wonder if the news ones tie in to KOTFE?
  8. He's also one of the few (pretty much only the Wrath and Nox) Sith left that could hope to successfully challenge Acina. Zakuul devastated the Sith Order.
  9. This is the vibe I was getting ever since my Sorc swore fealty to Valkorion. Kinda funny how my character is basically using the "Rebel Alliance" to take over the Eternal Empire.
  10. So, with the rise of Empress Acina during the events of KOTFE, does anyone else see Darth Jadus (who is merely missing-not dead-in every possible outcome of the Agent story) or the Sith Inquisitor making a power play at some point? Also love the mention Lana makes to the Agent about how Acina prefers technological intelligence gathering-makes sense given that Acina was the head of the Sphere of Technology.
  11. Which of the 8 potential Outlanders has the best set of skills (storywise) to stop the Eternal Empire? In my humble opinion: The Barsen'thor Building an alliance of disparate groups and individuals? Done that already, no reason they can't do it again. Epic Force Mojo to go toe-to-toe with Arcann and Valkorion? Check. I have a hard time seeing the Smuggler or Bounty Hunter having a genuine shot. Cipher 9 and Havoc CO? eeeehhhh, maybe. The other force-using classes are the most likely candidates besides the Barsen'thor in my opinion. Likely Darth Nox since s/he at least has something of a power base to call on (though how much is left?) much like the Barsen'thor has the (remnants of?) the Rift Alliance to call on. Just my thoughts on the matter. Discuss!
  12. I'm playing through the Inquisitor storyline again, this time as an assassin. I'm playing as 'me' instead of "mwhahaHAAA lightning for eveyone!!!" There were also a couple things I regretted on my Sorcerer that I mean to correct (helping Zash take over Khem being the most memorable, I really should have just let them fight it out). Darth Occlus the Outlander's backstory is now being written
  13. Pierce The Former Cipher 9: Kaliyo Djannis, Mako, Gault Rennow, Tanno Vik
