but smuggler is the base class...I want to know about the advanced class

I like both melee and ranged, though for my smuggler, I would say that I would prefer to stay ranged. I already have a shadow and like the idea of being either or, and I prefer to just be dps, as for soloing heroics/fps...eh...not a huge deal to me.

I am not a huge fan of the always having to kneel to shoot, any suggestions as to which side I should choose as a smuggler?

Anyone know when patch 1.3 will be coming out? I keep seeing people talking about it, just not seeing a date yet...
