  1. The interface editor has some standard templates you can select to bring back your basic UI. If you make any layout changes, you need to save it to a disk file so you can reload it if something happens. This also allows you to copy the file and port your UI to another computer (helps when upgrading or playing at a friend's house) BTW the standard layouts are OK but there are some great user created templates you can download. Do a search and you'll find sites that have hundreds of UI layouts that people have built. Almost all are better than the default ones.
  2. Any you can only inspect the same faction
  3. You might want to post this on the specific server forum or in General Discussion.
  4. New schematics will become available when you hit the next level of crating (410?). If you change the filter drop down on the trainer to "show all" you will see all the schematics you will have an opportunity to buy in the future. Until you reach 410, you need to craft level 50 stuff. BTW Bought schematics only go to level 53 gear (number 28)). There is no Level 51 craftable gear. It goes 50 > 53 > 55. Crafting is mostly useless until you get to 450 and can craft number 31 hilts. Number 30 and 31 items can be RE'd for schematics. They come from elite/ultimate gear and gear drops from operation bosses. The schematics also require mats that only come from operations, which IMO sucks. It's impossible to be a solo crafter at end game. You really need to be in an Ops guild or pay 400,000 credits for 1 rare purple mat. You also need to RE a lot of endgame gear, something only a guild can really afford to do. You need they mods from endgame gear that no one needs. Hilts are particularly difficult, since more armor drops than weapons. My Cybertech has a few endgame schematics (mods, armor) but my Artifice only has a couple of enhancements.
  5. It's at the bottom of your character window. There is a dropdown list by category. Your offense is generated by Melee and Force. Choose them and mouse over a line item for details about the specific number. The numbers will be different for each category.
  6. You can actually approach it from two different directions. If you go from the "datacron side," you can jump down into the entrance pit.
  7. On The Harbinger, I haven't seen a Grade 6 Rich Treasure Hunting Mission for Gemstones in months, and barely any above moderate. Prices have skyrocketed for Corusca Gems. Meanwhile, all of the Companion Gift Missions at that level appear to be Rich. This needs to be looked into.
  8. Look at the color and level number in the Mission Log. Grey gives you no XP http://www.swtor.com/gamemanual/how-to-play/mission-log
  9. Dulfy has a great end game gearing guide http://dulfy.net/2013/04/14/swtor-level-55-endgame-gearing-guide/ Finish Ilum, do your dailies, Group Finder Dailies and Weekly, Makeb, and then Oricon. Completing Oricon gives you a whole set of Artifact level gear (156). The Makeb rep vendor will give you a Artifact main hand for 80 Basic Commendations. The best Non-Op weapon in game comes from the CZ-198 vendor for elite commendations. Save them for it. At 55 do the CZ dailies / weeklies and Makeb weeklies and group finder HM for elite commendations. Black Hole dallies give you the best return on time spent (commendations and cash)
  10. The minimize will occur if you have auto download/updates set for your OS, virus scanner, or other software. Anything that will give you a notification may minimize the screen. Go to Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Notification Area Icons and check what items are set to show notifications. Those are probably the culprit. McAfee and iTunes updates always does it to me
  11. At or near endgame you can gear him with planet commendations, buying the top armor/mods which are 66 (those armor pieces are not slot specific). All my characters reached max planetary comms, so I had to do something with them. Any character can buy the mods. They are BOE. From there, my Cybertech bought the schematics for all the droid parts and can craft the best ones in-game (172?)
  12. It's been a while but during me agent grind days I think I first saw helmets on the Nar Shadda social vendors. So it's probably when you reach that planet.
  13. Noting says there is something fundamentally wrong more than this. I've come across this multiple times since the latest changes. You stand around waiting to be backstabbed. Wow! What fun. There are too many abilities too low on the skill tree branches, creating an unbeatable build when they team up. Either fix the trees, created a PUG only matching system, and/or limit pre-mades to ranked only.
  14. I suggest you read Dulfy's end game gearing guide. Just by doing dailies you'll have tons of money. http://dulfy.net/2013/04/14/swtor-level-55-endgame-gearing-guide/
  15. Besides seeing who your target is targeting you can also see who your group members are targeting. Simply click on the portrait of their target.
