  1. Exactly what I wanted. I loved it. Too short, sure, but the fact that I'm wanting more content, means they did a good job. The Alliance missions, without the voice acting, are not what I wanted though. That's a huge step back. The rest, I'm pleased with. Story, characters, cut scenes... Jup, my kinda thing.
  2. I got to admit, I loved them aswell. They seemed quite 'realistic', as in not as flashy as the prequels battles, but.. more down to earth 'saber' combat. Sure, it's probably still a stupid way to fight in real life, but.. Keep those scenes coming
  3. Only got two class companions yet (Talos and Xalek), and both were me being silent. It was very, very weird. Awkward. So yeah, I'm guessing it's for every single character in the Alliance system. Hopefully companions that aren't recruitable now, will have more interaction with the player character.
  4. I don't think it's a budget issue. More a time pressure/get it out of the door issue. They had money for a trailer (which looked great, but cost ridiculous much), so I doubt they had to cut the budget for our 16 voice actors/actresses. The Alliance convo's are..... I hate it. I usually don't use the word 'hate', but it feels so out of place. I hate to play silent characters a lot, I can't stand it, it's as simple as that. That's why I liked the Bioware games (I started with ME2, ME3, DA2, DAI (which sucked btw), and not the Elder Scroll games for example. ME2 was great, because of the conversations and the dialogues. With Alliance they are kinda using ME2's concept, except they forget to implent the most important thing: have your character interact/chat with the companions you're meeting again after so many years. Example: Compare the ME3 "meet Grunt again" scene with the *meet old companion in Alliance* scene. It's so lifeless, it's not funny. I wanted to hug Talos or flirt with him again, but it's like I was never gone. No emotional impact. Same with Xalek. It's all feeling empty, for what is supposed to be the most emotional thing in the game: meet your friends back after 5 years.
  5. I'm def. sticking around. I enjoyed the content so far, but.. it was darn short. I guess I was expecting more, but the expansion came with no additional cost, so I'm not complaining. I'm going to try it on my second character soon with some different choices, see where it leads to. And hell no, the subs won't drop by 50%. Especially not with Episode 7 coming in december.
  6. It felt very unnatural to me. It never happened before in this game and then... suddenly.. My character lost her tongue. I dislike games that have no voice acting (that's why I can never get into Elder Scrolls games for example) and to have me standing there, not speaking... Ugh. Hate it. I hope it's only for the couple of missions in the alliance there, otherwise the gameplay experience will be quite unpleasant. I want to hear my FemInq and FemAgent talk... It does not fit the style of this game at all, to be standing there like a.. dead droid.
  7. I have to say I agree with this. Seems inconsistent with what they wanted to achieve with Disciples. Especially considering 12xp will probably end, pushing abilities and utlities further away seems an odd choice. And yeah, losing a utlity is kinda lame aswell. What's wrong with just keeping that stuff as it was? Inflation sounds like a really poor excuse.
  8. Uhm, sorry but... 24-hour lockout? Stop ranting. While having someone leave the group can be annoying, there can be tons of reasons for one to leave the group. And if you have to wait as long as you say, play a tank or healer. No way you'll be waiting for an hour or more then. Who the hell are you to decide whether people should use the group finder or not? And perhaps follow your own suggestion, if you want 'trustworthy' people, make some friends or find a guild yourself instead of spouting nonsense here. If it were up to me, I'd remove the whole lockout timer. It's stupid and doesn't do anything to quitters. I hardly ever come across them anyway.
  9. It's early access, but it might be unplayable for quite a while (unless you can deal with some serious lag issues). Let's just hope that it's stable and playable without any problems when early access starts.
  10. Yup, that one is pretty bad. It makes me laugh now that I'm thinking about it, but darn, that line is always out of place. Reminds me of the "Dieeeeeee" line by the female Sith Warrior, someone else mentioned. It's always out of place aswell, really feels forced. Def. some bad voice acting/writing on those lines.
  11. I always do it once in a while, to be save. So yeah, I'll be doing it before KOTFE goes live aswell. I usually do it not because I'm afraid Bioware does something, but because of alts etc.., make sure they get the exact same layout.
  12. I won't make one. I'd rather have my character do all the story content with all the choices, then get a stripped down version of Darth Nox, Wrath, Knight or whatever. A friend of mine will def. use it though, he kinda hates the leveling so for him it's a lovely addition. Probably a tank character.
  13. People in that chat seriously need to learn how to shut the .... up. Dunno if that's causing the lag/freezes, but darn, how annoying can people be. Internet....
  14. Hi there, Bodytype 4, female has some serious clipping issues near her bum. The jeans/underwear/whatever the character is wearing clips through the cape of the Dread Forged Field Medic's Suit chestpiece and makes it kinda impossible to wear the Dread Forged chestpiece. It'd be a shame that the piece can't be used now, as it's quite an unique chestpiece. A fix would be nice!
