  1. Then I just got the same song 4 times in a row, and it was a long and boring one. I expected to be able to click on it and choose from a set of songs like the previous Jukebox I messed with in Coruscant.
  2. Why does it only play one song? And why is it not one of the good songs?
  3. These two items are on the Nar Shaddaa Equipment Commendation merchant in the Republic Fleet... but I don't see a reason why these two weapons should be limited to off-hand only. One of them is cunning, and the other is aim - both are pistols. Cunning is for Gunslinger obviously, but the only use for the aim pistol must be a companion... not sure which class gets a dual wield aim companion at that level... that's a pretty specific use for this gun (ie. near useless and will never see the light of day).
  4. I wasn't here for that, but that's not really what I was saying anyway. I want the packs to be available all the time. Or maybe just one pack that pulls from every other non-current pack.
  5. I'd like to see a general armor or weapon pack for the cartel that can pull items from every pack in the past. This way old sets can still be put together, just rarely. There's just a lot of really cool sets that I do not have the money for (both in-game and out). At least there would be some guarantee that the item will eventually appear on the GTN.
  6. A small thing maybe, and not sure if all blasters do it... but the sound that plays during Unload and Sweeping Blasters is obviously a looping 1-2 second sound file - that will play twice during the ability and just sounds "off". Not a big deal to many people I'm guessing, but it's so unsatisfying; they would sound so much better if it was one continuous, 3 second sound of blaster fire that didn't interrupt halfway through to replay itself.
  7. There needs to be way more information shown on the after action report. Right now, MVP votes are pretty much limited to; whoever does the most damage, or whoever does the most healing. That's fine and dandy sometimes, but in certain games, damage or heals really isn't crap, like Huttball and, to some extent, Voidstar. What needs to be on the report is an easily distinguishable stat that shows who did captures - those are the people I want to vote for, because those are usually the people who try to win the game and not number farm. Here's a list of ideas; Voidstar - there should be an icon for each type of capture; door bombs placed, consoles used, datacron captured. These are the people advancing the game and they deserve some credit. Huttball - it should show how many scores a player made, and also how many assists (in this case, throwing the ball to the person that scores). You may also want to put total passes and ball pickups, but those are not as important as the former usually and can be abused. You could go farther and show how many interceptions (for/against) or turnovers/throw aways. Civil War/Novare Coast - just show who made the capture, and anyone nearby could also receive a "capture assist" point. Hypergate - this one is a bit different then the last two, in that captures (of your own core) are not necessarily as important. Carrying charges to the core should be shown, and steals of the enemy core. *On a side note and not necessarily related to the main idea, I think the map should be changed and the spawns moved closer to one side or the other so it's a little more clear as to who owns what side. If that is done, showing who stole a core would be more useful, as overall captures of your core are not as important as stealing the enemy core.
  8. It's on the Ranked PvP merchant, at the bottom.
  9. Question; is there anything from PvE that looks like the Firebrand gear with all the neat animations and stuff?
  10. They are - just long enough to know what cut and paste response they should give you.
  11. I'm actually quite surprised that Bioware is so eager to please the people the don't even play their game, instead of the players that currently play and pay for it now. When that CSR told me "it wouldn't be fair to them", I just laughed... wait, what? Seriously? Not fair to them when they don't play and it was just as much my name as theirs? Hold on a second...
  12. I brought this up in a ticket and was just force fed an excuse for why it is the way it is, and then it was closed in typical CSR fashion... Hey lady, I wasn't finished yet! It's pretty simple; there are a lot of people playing this game, and then there are a lot of people that no longer play the game. When I was merged from my old server to this new server, Bioware in it's infinite wisdom saw it fit to give me some of my character names, but not others. I was mad at first - I mean, who wouldn't be? I got over it, because I at least got to keep one name that I really liked, so that's fine. I'll deal with it. I brought up the case that character names on accounts that haven't been used within a certain length of time should have their names revoked, much like how ours were when we first merged, and then those names freed up. The response I received was "it would be unfair to them to log in and see their name was gone". Ok, two things; 1. How is it fair to me then when you took my names and gave them to someone else? 2. When is the last time these people logged in? I'm not talking active players... if said player has logged in within 6 months, that's fine, let them keep it - maybe they're on a break. If said player has not logged in BEFORE the merger, or even right after it, and the only reason you gave them my name was because they were 1 level higher than me... Well, that person has lost claim on it in my opinion. It's safe to say that the people that are gone from this game are probably unlikely to come back, and if those people were to come back and see their name was gone, well now they know how I felt when I stuck with this game through all of it. Let them have the exotic letter names, and I'll use the name that was mine before this all started. Sound good? Maybe? Point is; if a player has not played recently, they should lose the claim to their name. How about we just go on; "If this player was not playing before the merger, or only played for a month after the merger, then their claim is forfeit". Sounds fair to me... Ultimately, this will be a pretty big influx of cash for Bioware with all the renames that will be going on once it has happened... You guys like money, right?
  13. I have two of them, and I wouldn't really call them "very good". Decent, sure, but not "very good". I can pop both Cloak of Pain and Saber Ward and still take a lot of damage from anyone. I will rarely finish off someone after popping both of those, and then there's also the cooldown, which means it will only work for me every so often (if it even does). Force choke isn't really a stun, more of a hold. Chilling Scream sounds important, it's just too bad I don't get either of those yet and I'm forced to deal with people that have theirs. 8 vs 12... Not too impressed. Except Master Strike, or Ravage. At any rate, it's probably my best and most damaging attack, and unsurprisingly is the one I'm most stunned during while using it... likely because all my other attacks don't really compare on a whole. I can understand the quickness of the attacks, but they just don't do that much for me vs. what everyone else has. I just got Predation now. We'll see how well that works. Once every 8 seconds... With both their stun and knockback+slow, they can get a bunch of those off easy. How do you figure that? It's more armor, and therefore more damage resistance, something a Marauder won't compare to. Even one heal can be enough to turn the battle in their favor. I can't heal. That wasn't really the point, but ok... I look forward to the day that I don't suck complete ***.
  14. Maybe someone can explain to me why it seems fair that a Commando has both a stun (freeze bomb?) and a knockback + slow at 16, and a Marauder at 22 only has Force Jump and a root break on a 2min cooldown? This is also beside the fact that a Commando can heal himself, and wears heavier armor than a Marauder. Make sense of that, please. Do I, supposedly, do more damage as a Marauder and that's why I'm screwed out of any reasonable way to stay in contact with a Commando? Unless all his abilities happen to be down...
  15. Forgot to add that he would be invulnerable to damage when close to death.
