  1. I find the sheer multitude of basic chairs on there far more irritating from a scrolling standpoint. It's like 6 pages at any given time, who is buying basic chairs for 20k when they come from a vendor for 250?? I've seen people pissed about rep items being listed, but it mostly comes from people who weren't smart enough to read and bought them without realizing they needed the rep.
  2. Not a fan of tank companions, since I always wind up with aggro in between their taunts anyway. Khem is way more entertaining than boneface, though.
  3. Huh. I have a real life job, mow my lawn and wash my dishes, and still managed to make the 50 mil for my guild's ship* without ever spending any additional real money past my sub. Weird. Oh, right. I forgot. OP not only doesn't want to have to buy CC, he doesn't want to spend any time playing the game to earn the fake money, either. You're like the people who cry that they can't get BIS gear because they refuse to do group content. You have two choices: play a video game --> get stuff. Pay EA/BW money --> get stuff. You don't just jump right to "get stuff" without starting at one of those points first. *I came up with roughly 30 of the 50 mil myself, and about 4 other people from my guild made up the rest. But it's a guild thing, you realize, no? Because I notice you seem to be under the impression that one guy running around selling 50 mil's worth of hypercrates is going to be buying his own ship and conquering planets either by himself, or with a handful of his buddies. Take a moment to browse through the conquest objectives, the dispersion of the points one can gain in a week that are repeatable vs legacy-wide, and then the cumulative points the top guilds on your server have acquired on the leaderboards. Simple math will tell you that no one person, or group of a few people, is going to conquer any planet at this point in time. You want those bells and whistles? Go join a large guild. If you spent half as much time playing as you apparently do whining, you'd probably be halfway to having all the stuff you wanted by now.
  4. Getting a queue for Taral V at 38 is absurd. It reads 31-37 on the GF, however I had a 38 in a group the other day (and he didnt ding in the fp, he was 38 when he entered). This is terrible for two reasons: the over-leveled player gets no XP from killing mobs that far beneath them. And two, it actually prevents the rest of the group from gaining any xp from kills (even though the rest of us were 31-32). I understand the need for xp caps on mobs several levels below you, preventing people from power leveling by being run thru things by 55s. That's why they can't queue up in the GF, though. 37 is ridiculous enough. With moddable gear falling from the sky/cartel market, planet comms being planet comms (instead of planet-specific like they used to be). I know not everyone can walk into Malestrom at 35 with a friend and their companions and have no issue. but there's no reason the most casual of casual players should have to be that far over leveled for these things in order to complete them. And then there's no point at all in queuing if there's no xp to be had off kills.
  5. People whined when the devs didn't live up to their pre-launch promises to provide small group content that didnt require a standard tank/heals/dps trinity, and now they're crying that they've implemented that content? I've got no problem with it, it makes grinding fps a more viable form of leveling via fp due to shorter queues. Chances are the tank I get in a regular old fp is an incompetent moron, anyway (that is, if I haven't leveled out of what I queued for before it pops). Only time I die is if I do something silly like run into a large group without the other three people anywhere nearby, and those kolto boosts during the boss fights respawn to the extent that they out heal any low level healing class anyway. My only complaint would be that the rep isn't worth grinding as the vendors have almost nothing--1 re skinned outfit, a goofy mount, and a paint job =/= any reason to do them for anything other than xp. KDY is solo able on a 55, there's just nothing worth grinding it for on one. Story-based fps a la Black Talon, on the other hand, I would hate to see them add more of. The name of the game is grind, and my spacebar is worn out enough as it is. As for class story and content geared toward single-player, sure. But waiting for 3 other people who are either lagging through the cut scene (or actually watching it *shudder* ) for the 20th time gets old 19 times before.
  6. Clarify for me: Just means I can't use two of the SAME proc relic and get double procs, right? RW + FR = still good? Or does "shares this limit with similar defensive effects" mean that RW, FR, and shield amp all share the same proc cd because they're all defensive? I'd almost rather toss an old EWH back in instead of deal with the clicky aspect of a shrouded crusader or the def one.
  7. Nah, I think it just blew up on its own. I know what you're thinking, that would never happen with such a stable engine...oh wait.
  8. When are they adding the used ship dealer that my 55s can sell their ship to? Because clearly, I have no use for it anymore.
  9. *like button* I did hate huttball for a brief period of time, back before forced server mergers when my server was very pub-heavy and it was the only wz in which you could face your own faction. But that was because it was the only one I ever got, and I just grew sick of it. Now, I'll gladly take it over Hypergate's boring mid killfest, or the very Arathi Basin-esque ZOMG WE MUST TAKE THE STABLES SOUTH AT ALL COSTS" mentality of too many noobs in NC. And sadly, NC/AH are the ones I get 90% of the time. Unless it seems to be voidstar day, then every single match will be that one. But mostly, it's NC/AH.
  10. The forums never cease to entertain me. Having been playing most months since the pre-launch early access week, it cracks me up to read people claiming to have also been here off and on for that amount of time absolutely losing their minds when a patch is delayed for bugs. Do you all have such short memories that you don't remember all the other patches that have been delayed, or worse, deployed with bugs so bad the game was unplayable/ha to be taken down for additional hours/nearly entire days to be fixed? I'm not saying it's a good thing, obviously it's bad for business since it can be listed as a contributing factor that has led to everything from loss of subs, going to the micro transaction model, changes in staff, server depopulations and mergers, and general nerd raging. But getting all up in arms about it, when it's just business as usual for this game, is hilarious reading material for those of us bored at work, yet incredibly pointless. Just take the "I'll believe it when I see it" approach to this game in regard to updates, and you'll be disappointed on fewer occasions (I would also suggest don't let a video game run your life as much as this apparently does, but I have a feeling that would be just as futile). And if you can't handle that, make good on all the promises to leave, I'm sure your mother will still bring your sandwiches down to the basement if you're whining about another game. I don't hold out any hope for a 100% fix on this particular bug or any of the pre-existing bugs (and won't be surprised in the least to see that for every one bug that 2.2 or 2.2.1 or subsequent patches actually does fix, three more will appear). But I'll take a delay on the patch over something like the time they introduced the Black Hole dailies. Remember how they took the servers down for post-patch maintenance the next day and accidentally rolled back to the old maps, and everything had to go down for another 12 or so hours to fix it? If that makes me an apologist fanboy in anyone's mind, I hate to ruin your day, but I really don't care what trolls on the Internet think about me. Keep it up, actually. You're amusing. If they rolled out server transfers with achievement bugs, maybe not everyone crying in this thread would be upset, but you'd still have entire threads dedicated to "omg bioware u sux I did NiM EC and now I don't have credit for it anymore ***?"
  11. Questing with a friends he apparently missed that initial quest to find the GSI terminals, can't pick up any of the GSI dailies on Makeb (the terminal is greyed out), and I can't remember where I grabbed it to tell him to go there and pick it up. We both picked up the macro binoculars and seems droid quests, talked to the same people, and are at the same point in opening the elevator to where the terminal is located, but I spaced out on where I picked up the initial quest to actually find the terminals on each of the planets. All the guides seem (dully, there's a write-up on reddit, few other things google turned up) to detail the dailies rather than specify where the quest to open them comes from.
  12. Yeah, just like the voices. They used to freak me out at first, but now I'd miss them if they were gone.
  13. I keep getting the huttball scoreboard saying I'm on the opposite team, but a reload UI fixes it. That nans thing was in the select number of splitting stacked items several patches ago, and now I'm seeing it in the timer as well at the start of matches.
  14. I was wondering why my full auto channels seemed messed up. I thought it was me screwing up and trying to run and cast again after playing Secret World for a little while, and interrupting myself instead.
