  1. Struggled with this myself. The solution is to "stamp" every single piece of gear, and confirm changes. If I want to use the belt or bracers or whatever that's already equipped, I take it off and then select it on the appropriate costume tab. Allowing it show because its the actual gear you have equipped won't work. Annoying and costly, but at least I have my unify colors back. Would love to know if this is intended
  2. Can I just say, as a healer, I would fully expect to get kicked if I ever acted like that? I mean seriously, no one ever had to explain to me that running into mobs ahead of the tank was NOT something the healer was supposed to do. There was a point when I was such a newb that I didn't know what a tank was, and I still understood that a healer was not someone who should ever go Leeroy Jenkins and jump into the fight head first. How do people even decide to play like that? I mean you're the HEALER, you're supposed to be HEALING! It's right there in the job description.
  3. A butter snacker!? Not sure what that is, but.....ok. Dude, We should start a PVE guild where we stop halfway through every run for a butter break. We could call it butter squad.
  4. Well I can't speak for the others, but a big reason I was willing to wait on him as long as we did was because I wanted to hear an explanation regarding the butter emergency he had going on.
  5. Well, I've been using gf for months and never had a story worthy of this thread (just average stupidity), until tonight. It's a short story, but was laughing pretty hard. Queue up and draw mando raiders HM, (I'm the healer) we make it to the boss with the dogs, we beat him, and everything is fine. Then one of the dps's says: "can you guys give me a minute?" Tank says "sure" DPs: "I gotta go get butter" Tank: "what?" Me: "seriously?" The dps "it's right across the street" Me: "dude can't the butter wait?" Dps: "I'll be right back, I swear" Then the other dps says "I'm not standing around while that guy goes to buy butter." And quits. (And can you really blame him?). So we queue for a replacement and in the meantime the tank and I are sitting there, staring at his unmoving toon, basically saying "why does he need butter so immediately?" So we get a replacement, who catches up to where we are and says "alright let's go" Tank: "we're waiting on this guy" Me: "he went to get butter" New Dps "butter!?" Tank "he said he would brb" New Dps "from getting BUTTER?" Me and tank: "uhhh. Yeah" So 10 mins go by…15, and were thinking "is something stuck or something?" "Maybe he's cooking" and from there the theories as to what the butter is for just start to get more graphic. and finally I say "seriously, how long does it take this moron to go by butter!?" And the tank initiates a vote kick saying "I think it's time we leave this dude to be alone with his butter" Butter dude gets kicked. We get a new dps, who asks "what happened to the last guy?" And we say "he went to get butter" new dude says "what? Butter?" And we're like "yeah nm lets just go. " Anyway we run the rest of the fp. It was a good group actually. And the last conversation as we were leaving the area was Me: "I wonder if he ever made it back home with his butter" Tank: "we'll never know" I was laughing pretty hard.
  6. Hello I am a lvl 55 sage healer, and I have yet to have a good experience running level 55 HM FPs. What usually seems to happen is at some point the tank starts to complain about my being "under geared" and insults me to the point that I just leave. Last night I got kicked while we were standing in front of the last boss amidst the tank advising me to get gear that I already had. Now please don't think it hasn't occured to me that I might indeed be under geared. It has. But my gear has been acquired by getting basic comms from dailies and 50 FPs, and is mostly 156 rated. (That's head, chest, legs, gloves and boots). What isn't 156 is146 or 148, and the suggested rating for these FPs is 148. Also, it's not like we fail to make it through these things. First time I tried one I still had 140 gear and we wiped on the third mob. And I was the first one to say " guys I'm so sorry. I don't have the gear for this." But to get kicked when we are literally standing in front of the last boss? How did we make it so far if I'm so ill equipped.? So my question is 1) is all this basic gear I have really not good enough and 2) how am I supposed to get better gear without the elite comms from 55 FPs? (I assume 55 ops would be even worse). Thanks for your advice
  7. Wow. Your consular has exactly the same facial features as mine.
  8. Do you think it's possible that, in a galaxy of over 20 million species, no one has ever thought to ask them they're name? They're obviously sentient and important, and maybe when you meet over 20 million species you stop keeping track, and just don't care that much anymore.
